If you're not diving better stay here than Manta Dive
They are under the same management and side by side to each other but if you don't dive, better stay here. A little bit more expensive than Manta Dive next door but more comfortable for regular visitors. I love the restaurant the have, the breakfast was great, the food was great and really affordable. The beach in front of the resort is one of the best location for snorkeling. The room is clean, simple and comfy, love the semi outdoor bathroom. Worth to stay when you are in Gili Air

Only stayed for 2 days but wish we could have longer. Great rooms, great food, great location only thing I would fault is the pool was small and quite shaded but the beach was close enough it didn't really matter!

Good hotel, very satisfied
This is a nice accomodation in Gili Air, just beside Manta Dive. Front desk is excellent. Everything is excellent here.

If you want peace and quite and no mosques or mosquitoes then book somewhere else
I hate to give a negative review, but unfortunately we did not have a good time in this Hotel. First of all the price is just way too high compared to other accomodation on the island. You can find a lot of better stuff for half the price (just arrive and look around if you are in low season). At first everything looked ok, although the people at the reception were not so nice and the whole area around the Hotel had a "let's make a lot of money from tourists" feel to it. The place doesn't have a good vibe even though the setting is nice. If we came to the island again I would definitely book something on the north side where it's much more chilled and not so crowded. So to summarize our stay, starting with the bad parts: 1. There is almost no roof on the bungalows, basically it's one layer of dried grass. Which means you are pretty much staying in a tent from a noise perspective. We could hear the neighbours having sex and they were not even that loud. It is not a nice start to your holiday. 2. The mosque is nearby and they pray 5 times a day, first at around 4:40 in the morning (!) which means that you will definitely wake up before 5am weather you like it or not. Not even earplugs will help it is so loud in the bungalow. Sounded like the guy was shouting his prayers in our bedroom... Extremely annoying. As soon as the praying stops the chickens start to shout (a lot of them) for about an hour at least. So there is pretty much no chance to have a good nights sleep. 3. There are a lot of mosquitoes and other small bugs in the room, you cannot get rid of them because as soon as you kill one another will just come straight through the grass roof. We had about 100 mosquito bites at the end of our 5 night stay. Unfortunately there is no mosquito net, so unless you want to spray insect repellent on yourself for the night prepare for some serious amount of bites. 4. The room smelled like a mixture of mildew and mosquito repellent. We wanted to open the doors but the

Great place to stay
The location -right on the beach. The staff -efficient warm and friendly. The pool and rooms.
We loved our stay at this hotel. Only improvement could be that the pool is cleaned daily. Everything else was perfect.

I adore this place!
The food is high quality, staff awesome, rooms beautiful
We love this place. Perfect for young families interested in the off beaten path. The hotel is beautiful, simple and tasteful. This was our second time staying here and we will be coming back for sure! Can't recommend it enough.

Fine but overrated, not great value.
Location: amazing snorkeling right off the property. That's it really. Good air conditioning?
I thought I would get better food and more pristine facilities for the relatively high price. At $30, this would have seemed a decent hotel. The breakfast was mediocre (at best) and the service characteristically slow. We also had problems with cockroaches and spiders all three nights of our stay, but I don't know that you can blame the hotel: it's a result of open showers, which is every Gili air hotel. Lastly, I was disappointed by one of the manga dive staff members, who was frankly rude to me and my wife. Not the main welsh bloke--he was lovely--but some other guy. We asked about renting fins to snorkel, and his response made clear he had little regard for anyone not diving. He later sneered at us for asking whether we could use the towels on the beach. Anyway, not a great experience, not terrible. Just mediocre, and for half the price I think we could have gotten an equally good room elsewhere on the island.

Great value and location
The location of the Waterfront was great and the service was excellent. The rooms were very nice as well.
We stayed at the Waterfront for the last few days of our honeymoon. The service was excellent and the rooms were very nice for the value. The restaurant attached to the Waterfront was great as well, and had a delicious breakfast that was included in the room rate. The location was great, within a 10-15 minute walk from the harbour and central to the main strip of the island. It was easy to walk to the north/west part of the island from the hotel as well.

Booked room but got another room in another resort
Not sure
We booked a room in Waterfront Resort but was told they were fully booked on arrival. They booked us into another resort a short walk away, Turtle Beach Resort. Hence, I cannot comment on Waterfront Resort.
