The Waterman is situated 2 minutes’ walk from the River Cam, and half a mile from the historical city centre of Cambridge. This traditional Cambridge pub features free Wi-Fi throughout and an on-site restaurant.
A flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities are provided in each room at The Waterman. The large double room features a queen-size bed, while the twin room has a view of the courtyard area.
Home-cooked food is served in the on-site restaurant, with a range of international dishes on offer. Authentic Chinese dishes are served every Tuesday evening, such as traditional dim sum. Fine ales, wines and fresh ground coffee are available in the bar, and there is a secluded outdoor courtyard area for al fresco dining or drinking.
Breakfast is served at the pub from 8:00 to 09:30. It includes a boiled egg, tea and fresh coffee, and fruit, along with cereals, scones, toast, fruit juices, milk, soya milk and yoghurt. A cooked breakfast is available at an extra charge.
Buses to the rail station and city centre can be caught from outside The Waterman, and run every 10 minutes. Many local shops and cafés can be reached within a 5-minute walk.
