Westin Lake Las Vegas”
I am really discussed with this hotel chain. Only had two towels in the room and two rolls of toilet paper. I was traveling with two kids and two adults. Staying for three nights and not please room service would clean after we leave. And to request towels in the morning and come back from the lake in the evening with none of my requested items in the room. Yes, using third party websites make it easy to get deals, but a hassle to confirm your hotel accommodation. Buyer beware.

So many additional charges. They charge a $30 per day per room resort fee but then also charge for most other amenities. To rent a below average cabana by the pool is $350 per day (holiday weekend rate) which is ridiculous and doesn’t include food or drink an additional charge. Our shower leaked all over the floor and rooms were average.

Luxury at a great price”
This is our third visit to the Westin Lake Las Vegas. We have three small children and do not want to stay on or near the Las Vegas Strip. This resort meets our needs. It is a gorgeous hotel with beautiful surroundings. There are two pools, one specifically for children complete with a water slide. Many family-friendly activities to do on the beach and the lake, and they even offer evening smores at the hotel's many fire pits and outdoor movies on the weekends! The staff is friendly and caters to families with children, although I would imagine this would be a very serene place to do business or stay for a romantic getaway. It's close enough to all the attractions and dining of Las Vegas and they offer childcare, so us moms and dad can enjoy the more adult entertainments customary to Vegas. As long as the Westin contuse to keep up the great service and value, we will continue making this an annual family destination.

Fabulous lake - pay for all water sports despite $32 resort fee”
Magnificent setting on Lake Las Vegas surrounded by mountains! I had to ask, and on checking in they upgraded us to a lake view (I’ve belonged to SPG for 15 yrs). No prob with the Agoda booking, thx. The room was clean and the view, spectacular. I hate paying resort fees but this hotel took it to a whole new level. $32.77 per night for 2 bottles of water (which weren’t replenished), parking (free in almost all Las Vegas hotels even on the strip), a pool (pretty standard in 4 star hotels but they did have a lifeguard), and that was pretty much it. They have stopped providing water sports and the beach is enclosed in a cage (really). All beach amenities like paddleboards are rented at $25 per hour plus, by a third party. The coffee shop was only open from 6 - 11 am on Sunday and Monday (really) and they had no regular tea. I would stay again but I feel that Marriott is nickle-and-diming the Starwood hotel brand to death and decreasing its value.

I enjoyed very much our stay at this hotel. The scenery around the hotel are spectacular overlooking the Las Vegas Lake and hills. The only exception were the rooms carpet which need rejuvenating or replacement. All in all = great hotel and highly recommended.

Good hotel, but they charge my CC out of nothing”
Our stay was pleasant indeed. But what annoyed me is Westin charge my CC out of nothing. I didnt do anything worth charging, and when I sent an email to the customer service, I got no reply. It is only @28 dollar, its not a big deal. but I expect an explanation for the bill, especially since Westin is a luxury hotel.

Quiet in Las Vegas”
Our stay was peaceful, and with a beautiful pool and helpful staff, how can you go wrong? The Strip? The Westin offers free rides all day long so you can lose plenty of your money if that is your thing.

Very nice location not that far from the strip ”
Very nice just one thing that when we arrived we reserved the pool view but they send us to the parking view. It was a little bit disappointed. If we just stay one night I will accepted it but we pay more to get a better view and my dad was visited from Thailand. So then we ask for a new room they just try to ask us to complement the resort fee that wasn't nice at all ! But finally the manager change the room for us. But the rest of that it was a great hotel.

Our room was available without delay. The restaurants however are on inconvenient schedule. The staff and 24 hour room service made up for this fact. This is a beautiful hotel for weddings and special events. Also it may be good for families.
