This hotel is dirty throughout!”

It was in such a run down condition that we could not stay there and had to find another hotel. The room smelt of the dirt, the bed was as hard as a piece of wood. Could not possibly stay there and would recommend that nobody else does!!! I am now applying for a refund of the money paid.

breakfast

no internet except in the lobby area. no phone signal except outside. could not check-in from 6pm until staff had finished coach meal service as there is no-one allocated at the front desk for check-in during this time. evening meal only available at 6pm which is a coach service 3 course deal and has to be booked in advance. breakfast was good but not available until 7.30am

Excellent value for money”

Value, location, breakfast and a fourth - friendliness of staff.

Perfect hotel for a one night stay in Shanklin. The staff were really friendly throughout our stay and made us feel welcome. The room had all amenities for a one night stay, including extra pillows. There was plenty of food at breakfast. We couldn't have asked for anything more, especially for the price we paid. Would stay here again if we come back to the Isle of Wight.
