              Commanding far-reaching views over the English Channel, The Wight Mouse Inn is peacefully located amid grassy downs just 15 minutes’ drive from Ventnor. There is a large garden and terrace with a children’s playground, and fresh seasonal dishes are served in the restaurant. Some Bedrooms at The Wight Mouse Inn come with a sea view and others with a view of St Catherine's Down (subject to availability). Decorated in bright and warm tones, each room comes with a flat-screen TV, an en suite bathroom and tea/coffee-making facilities. The Wight Mouse Inn features a family run public house, offering local Isle of Wight bitters and other beverages. The inn is situated in the village of Chale, a 10-minute walk from Blackgang Chine, and with spectacular coastal walks all around. The larger towns of Newport and Shanklin are both within a 20-minute drive of the inn.

              Fabulous Stay”

              A very friendly, polite, courteous establishment. The room was perfect and the views from the room were just stunning. A late and welcome lunch was of very good quality and substantial size, while the full English breakfast had a wide range of choice and was very substantial. Service was first class from all of the staff however we must mention Alex who looked after us as if we were Royalty. 10/10.
