Great value and location”
I have stayed at the z hotel Soho many times, and was looking forward to my stay at the newest location Z Piccadilly. The hotel was very nicely done- clean contemporary and spacious, I liked the open layout of the reception/dining area compared with the soho hotel which is very cramped. As always the staff were so friendly and helpful and charming. Rooms were perfect- more spacious than the soho hotel with a better configuration. Beds were comfy, linen was of high quality, air con was super efficient, tv selection was very impressive. Shower was great. Piccadilly is such a fab location, we walked everywhere from shopping to restaurants to theaters. As always a fantastic value stay with the z hotel. We will be back soon
Amazingly convenient location with spacious room”
We enjoyed our four nights of stay with The Z Hotel Piccadilly in London thoroughly. It was fuss free check in, clean and the queen room was more spacious than we had expected. The location was unbeatable, being minutes walk away from West End and major subway stations. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly throughout our stay. We will be back for sure.
Perfect for solo traveler!”
Clean hotel; friendly staff; smart tv with comfortable bed; free wine and cheese between 5 to 8pm; and free hot beverages in the room (top up daily). I enjoy being in the small hotel room when I'm alone, and this is the perfect hotel! The television is just right in from of my bed, at a reasonable distance. The bed is comfortable. I was really tired from 4 flights to London (Uyuni to Lima to Bogota to London). Once I lie down in the bed while trying to watch Friends anniversary on Comedy Central, I KO for 12 hours straight almost immediately. The location is extremely good! It's very close to Piccadilly Circus station, meaning many famous eateries/restaurants are stone-throw away! I'll stay in Z Hotel again because members get additional discounts for nest visit! ;)
Central to everything that's important in London”
This hotel was simply fantastic even if rooms are smallish. It is so close to all of London's landmarks plus the West End Theatres.....so close you can walk only metres and you are at your theatre venue or restaurant. Not to mention the 5 to 8pm free cheese & wine happy hours....just an awesome welcome to traveller's like us. The hospitality from staff was exceptional and the Z Hotel concept is a winner. If this hotel needed only one thing that would be in room safes which now days is a necessity but luckily we kept our valuables (passports etc) safe in our locked hard shell suitcases. We stayed a week and had no problems coping with our room size but do suggest you book a Queen room as they are just that bit larger. Definitely would stay here every time we come to London...it was great!
Fantastic find in a fantastic location ”
We booked very last minute after deciding to stay in London for an extra night! We booked via Agoda and got our room for £41.47. Anna was lovely on the front desk, she showed us to our room and explained about the room on route . She made us feel Very welcome as soon as we arrived. Admittedly the room had no window but we literally just wanted the room to sleep , shower and store bags. The room was small but clean and well equipped . We would recommend the Z Hotel to anyone looking for somewhere in the Piccadilly Circus area , such a great area to be in with always so much going on . 5 min walk from both tube stations Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus . We wouldn’t hesitate to book again .
Going Solo in London”
The stay was really awesome for the past 4 days spent in Z Hotel. I've enjoyed lovely hours of wine & cheese provided daily in the evening for the guests, sitting in the cozy cafe anytime I want to. Location was very good as it was just walking distance to Chinatown and even Covent Garden. Burger & Lobster was like 10min walk from the hotel. Lastly, I would like to thank Ms Anna at the reception who was very friendly and helpful sharing with me directions & ways to get around the city. She even went extra miles to share with me, an app when she found out that I have lost my way on my first day. Kudos to Ms Anna!! Excellent job!! Z Hotel Piccadilly was the Best choice I've ever made during this trip. I will definitely be back! Cheers!!
Perfect location, great staff, excellent value”
What a great find! The Z Hotel Piccadilly met all our needs while vacationing in London - nice hotel in the perfect location walkable to many major sights. The 3-hour daily wine/cheese buffet was a fun freebie, but the staff made this a great experience, very friendly and helpful. Small room and bathroom were manageable for a few days, even with no room to unpack. Would definitely stay here again!
great location, service and cheese & wine”
lovely stay at the Z, great service by the staff during our trip last weekend. able to drop our bags off in the morning before check-in to go round london. free cheese and wine every night between 5-8pm which is always busy and a lovely atmosphere in a boutiquey hotel and dining area. the rooms are small which is expected for a building of its size but more than enough when your visiting london as your out throughout the day and evening. beds were good though. typical modern hotel glass bathroom/shower area but the sink area is small and awkward but good shower. full sky tv in the rooms too with all the channels which is great and free wifi which is added bonuses as most chain hotels charge for wifi and dont have full tv package. air con unit is locked and can only change the temp but our room didnt get cold for the temperature and windows cant be opened so was a bit warm but fine but maybe the unit needed a check/service. would definitely stay here again though as for the price and location and free extras its unbeatable and its only a couple mins walk from traf square so your saving money you would spend on a cheaper hotel further outer london needing to get tube/train into central london. great service by all the staff too!!
Excellent Location & service”
We have a six month old baby and we had requested a cot bed in our room but we had booked a double room which we didn't know was small that couldn't fit a cot. We had to upgrade to a queen size room. The staff were very good to quickly set us up and suggested the upgrade. There were free wine and cheese in the cafe while we waited! Excellent location right next to Leicester square and close to Piccadilly Circus and West End and subway stops to get to London Euston train station. We would go back and stay there again! Highly recommended!
Exceptional”
This was my first stay at a Z Hotel, but it will not be my last! Everyone was so helpful, the breakfasts and happy hours were delicious and relaxed. Travelers feel more like true "Guests" than "customers" at the Z. Staff went above and beyond to provide information, directions, guidance re: the Tube and any other questions. I am enchanted with the Z Hotel at Piccadilly, and look forward to returning. Thanks to all for such a lovely experience.
one night stay”
Had a great time at Z Hotel Piccadilly! Only stayed one night, but would stay again if a few things changed. Loved the idea of free wine and cheese in the afternoon, however we missed out due to dinner reservations. For the price of the room, I think breakfast should have been included. Also, as noted by other reviewers, they need to put a shelf in the shower, especially since it is on the smaller side. We also asked to use an iron which came up very quickly, but didn't actually iron very well! New iron needed. Otherwise, perfect location - easy walk to Soho and Trafalgar Square. Second floor had a private outlook and was very clean. Loved the modern/minimalist approach to decor. Hard to find sometimes!
over night stay”
Our over night stay at the z hotel was just right , minutes away from the west end theatre's and Leicester Square, but the hotel is located of the haymarket and is so quite you forget your in the centre of London. It's the perfect hotel for a two night stay or a business trip.
Decent hotel and great location”
Great location, friendly staff, nice ambiance. Although the rooms are really tiny, they made it a point to be premium. Bed and pillows are soft and lush. Plus the staff are very helpful. If i'm travelling alone again to London, I will definitely consider staying in Z Hotel Piccadilly.
Cheese at prime location”
One step away from the heart of London with street performers, theatres of SoHo/West End and Chinatown! Perfect to take a quick break between daytime sightseeing and evening entertainment by enjoying this hotel's complimentary cheese and wine buffet. We loved every moment. Also cute and tasty breakfast buffet in the atmospheric combined reception and restaurant.
Express Trip - Right In The Middle Of Town”
Very good hotel - really in the thick of things - close to the West End, Piccadilly Circus and many metro strops only a couple of minuets walk (if that) Great for an express trip to see all the sights of London
Exceptional Customer Service & Best Location Ever!!!”
Front office staff are just exceptionally amazing! Regardless of the time of day, even at 12 mid-night, they go out of their way to help you. Love them! I liased with Caterina a lot. Would like to sincerely thank her for the support & assistance she provided my husband & I. Very swift & efficient service. We hardly waited more than a couple of minutes before being given the room keys to check-in! Room was very clean, albeit small. But who can complain when you simply need to walk 3mins from Piccadilly Circus Station to the hotel!! So centralised, it was amazing! Tesco was also just a 2-3min walk away, and soooo many dining places just surrounding the hotel to choose from!! Will definitely be back to stay in this hotel on my next trip to London!!
Best value for location”
Z Hotel Piccadilly was in such an ideal location - walkable distance to the underground and shopping areas. The rooms were small as expected but the space was effectively utilized. Large TVs in the room and free wine/cheese were awesome perks!
Marvellous little jewel in Piccadilly”
Excellent concept hotel: superlatively comfortable, wonderfully made beds; with a sizeable wet-room attached, of the highest quality. But that's it, there is no room for anything else, so staying inside is not advised. These hotels provide excellent quality and comfort for those who are using the room only for sleeping, not working or entertaining. With this in mind, it's excellent value for money in Central London, and I highly recommend Z Piccadilly.
Quiet, compact and exceptionally clean”
I stayed at the Z Hotel for 2 nights during a recent business trip. My office was in regents park, so a short 5 min walk away. The staff were incredibly polite, helpful and courteous. I arrived at 11:00pm at night & they informed me that I missed happy hour that day, but gave me a complimentary glass of wine to take to my room which was a nice touch. The breakfast was great - incredibly fresh food and good variety for the price. The café was really lovely too and a great place to relax. Rooms are very compact, but so cleverly designed - not a space wasted. My room was right near reception & the café, but was super quiet. Great place to stay for a few nights, or longer if you just want a friendly, clean and comfortable place to lay your head. Highly recommend.
Excellent deal, but only share a room with someone you know very well! ”
A friend and I travelled to London to visit some friends, and we stayed here. The hotel is centrally located, it's in the very appealing and lively Piccadilly area, and it's spotlessly clean with an elegant design. I can't fault the comfort or cleanliness of the room. One thing I feel duty-bound to mention is the lack of privacy with the toilet and shower set up. In our room, there was a sliding door made of frosted-glass to access both. It's next to the bed, and there aren't many other places to go in the room to give the person in the toilet or shower much privacy; you can hear everything!
