location is really close to Victoria station, but room is really tiny.
Snakes during the days and evening are so convenient and feel very special for guest
Great location, budget stay in London”
The location is great, close to Victoria Station and multiple bus station. Staff are all nice. Room is quite small like hotels in Tokyo, you need to close your luggage to have space to walk. Wish there is a real door for their bathroom, it quite loud when you have someone stay together.
We reached a bit too early via bus from Manchester, was travelling with parents whom are elderly. Ismail who was at the reception counter helped us a lot by letting us check in early! Really really really good service here, the other staffs were very nice and helpful as well. After checking out, we had to wait for our bus which was in the evening, they even gave us free coffee and tea while waiting. Of course we can also store our luggage there upon checking out (no need for us to find lockers!) Totally recommended for everyone and definitely will come back here again in the near future ❤️
Pleasant weekend trip”
The rooms are in fact really small but the space is used advantageous and cozy. Everything is neat and really clean. The reception is 24/7 so our 3am check out was no problem at all. What really stood out was the complimentary cheese & wine every night for all the guests. That created a really nice environment with lots of guests in the lobby. And of course the Location is perfect. Almost every train or bus ends in Victoria station and it’s a two minute walk to the hotel. And all the sight seeings are in walking distance as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Staff was brilliant and made the stay very enjoyable. Right next to Victoria Station and very convenient to most locations. Place was very clean as well which was what mattered to us. They had an evening happy hour of sorts with free wine and cheese tasting which was a nice touch. Definitely one of the places I will stay again.
Central, smart, functional, value hotel”
Compact, functional, smart, clean hotel. No frills but still comes across as snappy and modern. Great complementary wine time, large TV and amazing location. Perfect for a business traveler for a night or two.
Smart hotel !! Awesome ”
Staff so helpful the big fluffy towels the free nibbles the comfy beds value for money . It’s the way ahead
Very very small room and no window. ”
The ad in agoda is misleading, because no mention no window. Beside, room is very small, one queen bed and tiny walk way. Is not suitable for 2 persons.
Small but clean, comfortable & excellent location”
I would definitely stay here again but as a solo traveler. As in other reviews, the room (inside double without window) is very small with the bed up against one wall. Perfect for one, would be a squash for too. I'd say the bed is a 3/4 double. That said, it was very quiet, comfortable, clean, great shower, towels, coffee facilities & a free glass of wine on arrival.
Great place and good value for money”
Although rooms were small it was still very comfortable. The bathroom was bigger than expected and everything was clean and well equipped. The also served complimentary wine and cheese in the afternoon which was excellent
Slight ground-borne noise from railway”
Stayed in a basement room for one night, heard some slight noise from nearby railway...may not notice when TV is switched on though...location is excellent for transit at Victoria rail or coach station.
Smart hotel for business stay”
Great location, 50m from Victoria Station. Clean, modern and smart. Rooms are super-compact, but fully functional. It is possible to order breakfast on arrival and the hotel put on wine and cheese for free every evening. If you only want a room for one or two nights and only need somewhere to sleep, this is great value.
Good location, nice staff”
Location is perfect. 3 mins walk to Victoria Station and 8-10 mins walk to Buckingham Palace. Room is Clean, a little bit small but acceptable. cozy bed, staff refill amenities every day. It would be better if there are windows to improve the ventilation . Free Wine, Cheese and chocolates provided between 5-8 pm, impressive! Staff are all nice and helpful.
Good Location, Great Service ”
This hotel is one of the best hotel in London that I ever stay. Good location, near Victoria station for both underground and coach station. Great service and a complimentary Wine and cheese every evening for pre-drink.
Good for just sleep”
Good location, walkable distance to Buckingham Palace, big ben and london eye. Budget, no frill. Can take the train to Brighton from Victoria station. Very small room so do not recommend for non solo traveller.
Great service and location”
The staffs were very friendly and helpful. Location is great with only a 3mins walk to Victoria station and about a 12mins walk to Buckingham Palace. Room albeit small but comfortable enough for 2pax. We were lucky to get a complimentary wine & cheese buffet on the night we stayed. They are very generous with the per serving of wine and not too shabby cheese selections. Would definitely recommend this place.
Great location, small but clean room. ”
The location of the hotel is good. It's near attractions like Westminster, Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park. Most importantly, it's opposite the Victoria station. Room was small but cosy and clean. Stayed at second level and we could still hear slight noise from the train/tube. We were not too bothered by it though. Value for money.
Good hotel but notice a slippage.”
I've stayed at the "Z" many times and notice a diminishing of services. The room amenities are less plentiful, the wine and cheese was less varied, one of the elevators was out during my entire stay. Fortunately the staff remains friendly and the hotel is clean. Location is great.
we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It's just across the road from the underground/train station which made it really easy for us to navigate our way around. Plenty of places nearby to get meals and we loved the free cheese and wine between 5pm and 8pm. The room itself was a bit smaller than expected. It was a bit of a tight fit with 2 suitcases between us, but we managed. We had a windowless room, and it was a little strange not having the weather or time of day reference but we got used to it. We were on one of the higher floors so we didn't have any issues with noise. Also we didn't realise the tea/coffee facilities were hidden away in one of the drawers. The staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble, and they would always say hi, or have a chat. All in all, I would recommend this hotel, and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
