On a budget? Find Cheap Hotels in Pattaya, Thailand

"I've stayed at many budget and mid priced hotels in Pattaya , and I would say this was the best overall. I booked it based on the price (less than 1000 baht) and the photo's on Agoda. I've seen reviews criticising the amenities but the photo's are true and accurate of what you're going to get. The rooms aren't huge (25 sq m)as a kitchenette is included but were fine for me. I had very little dealing with reception staff - but they were efficient and helpful on all occasions. The room service and security staff were always smiling and very helpful. There are washing machines you can use for 30 baht or the hotel laundry service. There is a laundry,7/11 and street cafes just outside.. A Big C supermarket 10 mins walk away, mototaxis opposite. It is a ten minute taxi ride away from the beach. The gym and sauna were fine for me the location was ok - if it was nearer the beach you'd be paying twice the price and probably have a lot of noise from bars etc. Overall very good."

"Located at the centre of Soi 13 near Soi Bukhaoa -this is cetainly one of the best Hotels in Pattaya if not Thailand. You feel really at home here with excellent rooms overlooking a great pool. Rooms are clean, spacious, shower/bathroom and all facilities are good so you can enjoy your stay. There is fanatastic long bar outside the Reception area - managed by the wonderful Nas and his team(San, Sa and La) who take care of your food & drink needs. The very friendly staff add to an already great Hotel facility and having been to Pattaya about 20 times this is by far my favourite Hotel as it has everything you could need.Location is halfway up Soi 13 from Pattaya 2nd record - near the junction with Soi Buakhao which has loads of Bars, Restauarants/Nightlife. As a contrast to all the hustle and bustle of Pattaya the Hotel is peaceful and relaxing and not a long walk from the beach. Highly recommended.!"

"We stayed 4 Nights with my 2 friends. The Room we booked by Online was not the one they had given us. This was very small for 3 people and brought to their attention, they had upgraded to a fantastic family room with out any extra payment. The first notable thing that we feel about this hotel is the freedom that we enjoy during our stay , no hustles, no interference from any side.... very good breakfast spread, different dishes..... only a small thing we felt in convenience that we faced during our stay is the group booking they do take from tour operates across the glob which gives us big croud in restaurants while on breakfast time. "

"Our family stayed in a 2 Bedrooms Suite Ocean View on the 30th Floor, This was Favorite Hotel for our Family. Best Location close to the Beach, Great Value for money. We loved this room it was very Beautiful and Perfect for our Family, Comfortable, Spacious (Big Living Room with New big flat screen TV and Comfy huge sofas), Very Clean and also our family love Nice Ocean View of this hotel very much....Amazing and Wonderful Ocean View! There are 2 Swimming Pools on the Ground Floor & 5th Floor, Enormous Pools for adults and kids and good to Relax around! the 5th Floor is very nice pool overlooking on the Beach and also Impressed & Stunning View with the DIB Sky Bar on the 38th Floor on the Highest Floor. Alice Lertvaree (Manager) is very nice person, kindly and very helpful for our Parent (Elder People)...Organized a Wheelchair for my Father and also Staff are so friendly, helpful and excellent services. The hotel provides a very rich Buffet style Breakfast...Lots of choice at Breakfast. It is so Tasty and Great Food! Highly Recommended this hotel, BEST HOTEL in Pattaya, Best Location close to the Beach, Excellent Quality Hotel and AMAZING & BEAUTIFUL OCEAN VIEW. Our Family were very happy, impressed and also Enjoyed stay this hotel, Definitely our family will come back to stay this hotel again....Excellent! "

"brand new hotel in pattaya! i've always thought the what ever photos they post in agoda doesnt really look like what the actual hotel is. but i was wrong, beside the hotel is cheap the room is very nice, clean and huge. i got the leisure room and it was one of the best room's i had. the infinity pool was amazing! just like the marina bay sand's in singapore, the hotels pool was outstanding. two pools, 24th and 26th floor. they also show movies every night 1900 at the pool. the staff were very helpful and attentive, from the moment you check-in to the moment you check-out. i really loved the hotel, i would stay again in this hotel if i come back to pattaya. "This report could be simply expressed with the words “ stay here”. I have been a guest at the Siam Bayshore Pattaya hotel 4-5 times this year already. I use the term ”been a guest” because this hotel goes out of its way to make you feel "a guest". This is simply the best hotel I stay in , in Asia. My work takes me to pretty much all corners of the globe and as a result I stay allot of nights in hotels of various quality and service levels. The Siam Bayshore Pattaya really does try and make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as they can. The staff are brilliant, always smiling, helpful and very very happy to help with anything. This of course reflects on the management at this hotel as you don’t get exemplary service in the hotel business if you don’t have outstanding hotel management. Siam Bayshore Pattaya could best be described as close to everything but far from the madness… it’s close to all the restaurants and bars on Walking street but its far enough away that at night sitting by the pool it’s just you and the occasional chirp of geckos and crickets. The pool area is very relaxing and nice for adults with fun theme slide for young ones. They have a great poolside drink and food menu as well.. Rooms are very clean and well appointed with lots of room…. get a pool side room…its worth it. Its little details I like and things like a little well lit magnifying mirror to shave by next to the basin, things like internet which is blazingly quick, things like afternoon cookies which they drop off… So many hotels tell you they offer great service but rarely do they deliver. The Siam Bayshore Pattaya just does it constantly.. every time. In writing this I’m trying to offer the reader a balanced view and also mention some things that the hotel could do better or improve on… but I’m scratching my head to think of any with this hotel….. If your coming to Pattaya then the Siam Bayshore Pattaya is the place to stay whether you’re here on business or vacation . "

"Best hotel in Pattaya for the money. I hate to write this review because next time I plan to stay it will be fully booked and more expensive...but that is the way it goes...The hotel is near Second Road and Soi 4. Out of the BAM BAM bar area across Second Road. Beautiful pool and great breakfast included. If you ask for a higher floor...say floor six or over...you will have an ocean view from your room. The TV channels suck...only BBC and something else...Internet good...wifi...you may have to move toward the window for best wifi. Staff excellent..helpful...it is a new hotel...opened in March 2012..I have stay there twice and upon my recommendation...my friends stayed twice too...I will not stay in any other hotel in Pattaya...walk to Second Road take Baht buss or walk down soi 5 or 6 to the beach and take baht bus to the mall...plenty of great restaurants in mall...go to 5 or 6th floor. Take baht bus back on Second Road..off at Soi 4..short walk to hotel...I write this review reluctantly because I know it will difficult to get a room there after telling everyone what a great place @Mind Residence Hotel is for the quality of rooms and money it will be difficult for me to get a room there in the future."

"For a 4 star hotel you are not going to get anything better!!! A brand new hotel that is immaculate, gym, sauna, nice pool area and a great room. We had a Superior room with a queen bed that was so comfortable. Buffet breakfast was nice with plenty of options English, Thai and Indian. Location is perfect, on a quieter street set back a little but walk 2 mins up the street and you are right in mix for bars and everything Pattaya offers. Price point was fantastic value for money. You can not go wrong staying athe Hotel Amber."
