Backpacking in Thailand? Find Krabi Hostels

"Location is superb, right in front of the beach. 7-Eleven and Family mart nearby. A bit far to get halal food near the mosque, but at night sometimes got halal food stall parked at the road. Not so noisy in my opinion, but maybe my ears are too adapt with high noise pollution from work, different people different perspective. The toilets are 5-star quality. 4-bed room are spacious. View from balcony was mesmerizing as it point towards the sunset. Next trip to Krabi will definitely book here again. Kudos!"

"I stayed at this hostel for 3 nights. It was about 3 months old when I got there in January 2017. The upsides: - Nice chill out area - clean and decent toilets and showers - 2 Free BBQ Skewers per day which means people stick around if you want to meet anyone - There is a daily tour to somewhere (did not try but appreciate that it was available) - The beds have a light, outlet, shelf and curtain - They rent out scooters - Overall well organised and smoothly running Downsides - The Mosque opposite to the Hostel might wake you up in the middle of the night - Some of the staff is fairly new so looks like some might need more training (My experience with Martim was not great, he is very distracted, makes you wait endlessly and doesn't know about certain rules nor informs himself when I told him other staff told me other things than he did, so I hope he gets some more training) - If you have the top bed of the bunks and you're not very tall like me, the climb seems rather dangerous. Overall had a great experience and would definitely come back if I go to Krabi again."

"the hotel has a great location. it takes around 10-15 mins to the beach and right next to 7 eleven. The area is the best tbh and considering its cheap price, it was a very good deal! the staff was very nice, they provided airport transfers at 600baht. we had to go to the airport at 5.30 am, the driver was punctual. its just that when we booked the family room we thought we will be having our own bathroom but turns out they are all shared bathrooms but not a problem cus the bathroom was clean. they provided soap and shampoo. Im a satisfied customer:)"

"Pak up hostel is a great place to stay and to meet travelers from all around the world. The location is great, the facilities are excellent, and the price is cheap- Best to book this hostel through Agoda- the best deal and the cheapest price for sure, even relatively to booking straight via the hostel itself. All friends i met at these hostel stayed there for 4-5 nights even though there is not much to do in Krabi, it's just a great place to chill out and make friends. The rooms and showers are very convenient. I spent here two nights when arrived from the northern islands, went from here to Railay Beach (the pier is very close and it's 150 BHT for 30 min each direction). Near the hostel is a night market which is very good- tasty and cheap. Also spent there the night before my flight to BKK- its 30 min from Krabi airport. highly recommended !"

"Loved that the beds had full cover curtains. Stayed in the 12 bedroom dorms and was very happy with everything. The bathrooms needed some ventilation as they kind of smelled and the club next door blasts the drum and bass so if you have to get up early it’s kind of hard to sleep. Everything was very clean, the staff are wonderful, the security guards are also super fun to chat with. This was my second stay and it’s perfect for a few nights! Met some wonderful people, easy to get to Railay beach and lots of activities around the beach that the staff are willing to book for you. Will absolutely stay again when I come back to Krabi!"

"I stayed at K-Bunk for 4 nights in December 2016, and after having stayed a couple of times at Slumber Party 1 & 2, I must say K-Bunk was personally one of the best experience for me. Don't get me wrong, both Slumber Party Hostels were great, especially if you're the party & social traveller, but K-Bunk gave me a more quieter, relax and laid back staying experience. Plus, if I really want to go for a night out, Slumber Party Hostel is just less than 2 minutes walk away. The staffs were great, and they recommended great places to eat, to shop, and also tours to fill my calendars with. There was even a spaghetti party! Never a dull moment. Lots of eateries, local and western, and convenient stores just walking distance away. The staff can even help you with getting a scooter, which basically means you can go anywhere, no limits! Definitely will be back for more."
