"We booked this hotel as our last night in Thailand and as it was near to the airport. Great place and still close enough to jump in a taxi to visit more central locations in Bangkok. Great staff, friendly, kind and helpful. Beautiful restaurant on the roof top, we only had drinks but the food looked amazing."

"Stayed here during our 24 hour transfer. This hotel is a true gem. I have stayed in other airport hotels in bangkok previously but this was definately the top of the bunch. There's a lovely staff, and the rooms are completely up to the standards. The beds are nice, the aircon works perfectly and was not noisy, and overall I could not here other travellers in the hallways either. We had a wonderful sleep in this hotel and will definately be staying in this one also the next time we need to fly through bangkok. Oh, and there's a but that leaves really close to the hotel (in front of the 7 eleven) that takes you to the shopping mall for 15 bath. I think the number was 1310 but am not 100% sure. Taxi to the mall costs around 100 baht and takes 20-25 minutes if theres no traffic (it's a 12 km trip)"

"We booked this hotel for our first night in Bangkok. Our grandchildren who live there we’re joining us for the night. We had arranged a hotel pickup from airport after flying 11 hours from UK. It wasn’t there for us. When we contacted hotel they told it would be 20 minutes. Well it was an hour late. When it eventually arrived it took us to the hotel in about 15 minutes. We had arranged an early checkin for 7am which had been confirmed to my daughter in law the previous day. Unfortunately there was no room ready for us and we were asked to wait in the breakfast are and they would let us know when a room was ready. Needless to say we were exhausted. When my daughter in law - who is Thai - contacted them and told them she was not pleased the Manager found us and was most apologetic and offered to upgrade us to a suite. The suite was very big and clean and modern. So apart from the problems with our checkin it was a lovely place to stay and we all thoroughly enjoyed the pool."

"After checking out dozens of options for 5 star hotels in Bangkok decided that the Marriot at Thonburi was the best option. We were not disappointed as the rooms, facilities and grounds were a delight to our family. We have 19 yr old twins and a 13 yr old so we felt relaxed and welcome at all times. In house restaurants exhorbitantly priced. Poolside not as expensive, but you can always eat out. Thoroughly recommended if you want to stay outside the melee of downtown areas. At first we were put into rooms facing the freeway but after approaching the front desk were able to be moved to face the garden area which also had views of the river. This was an unexpected bonus without having to pay more. Don`t hesitate to book at the Marriott Resort and Spa as this really made our stay in Bangkok . It`s worth the expense if you can afford it...much cheaper to book through Agoda."

"1. a very special 5 star hotel in Bangkok, normally the 5 star hotel in bkk is like sky high building, concrete, crowded as many rooms provided. This hotel is just a 3 storey building around a garden and swimming pool. have a perfect balcony at each room. 2. is really a oasis in a desert, the environment is very nice and green. 3. room is very comfortable and quiet. 4. staff is very helpful and friendly. 5. hotel policy on 24 hours room is fantastic, as what time you check in and you can check out at the same time as you check out. 6. breakfast is good. 7. I will be back to stay again for sure, a hotel really worth to give 9.1 rating."

"Having just arrived on a long flight I had chosen to stay close to the airport having done the hustle and bustle of Bangkok on a number of occasions I just wanted somewhere close to the airport to adjust to Thailand. Located at the bottom of a soi it was a beautiful little oasis for me very peaceful and relaxing. I stopped in a superior bungalow it had a nice Thai feel to it was clean and provided me with a comfortable stay for 2 nights before flying on to my final destination. Cost of taxi to airport was 100 baht and took around 10 mins there is a lot of Thai food stalls and restaurants with easy reach of hotel good food good prices. All in all I would stop there again when on my travels nice staff and very helpful thank you. "

"We were only staying there one night before leaving Bangkok. I wanted to get as much golf in as possible so arrived early leaving my wife and daughter shopping in Bangkok. The kind receptionist showed me round several rooms for me to make my selection. I chose one on the ground floor looking out on to the golf course. I didn't realise that this was actually a higher graded room than we had booked but they were kind enough to let us have that room anyway at no extra charge. The golf course was actually pretty busy but they managed to tack me on to another group of three Thais who were playing a round. These three fine gentlemen spoke good English and we enjoyed a good round of golf together. My wife and daughter arrived in the afternoon and were happy with the hotel. They have a very small swimming pool which was pleasant to use. Dinner in the evening at the hotel was good and very reasonably priced. On the Sunday, I turned up at the golf course at 5:50 in the morning hoping to get a quick round in by myself and then meet my family for breakfast - no chance they were booked up right from first light. They managed to get me on with another group and we had a good round together. It should be noted that actually weekends golf is more expensive and reserved for members - a special thanks to the GM who was very helpful - next time I will stay during the week. All in all a fantastic stay at a beautiful place. The GM was very flexible with our check out time which meant I got another game in during the afternoon, we had dinner there again the evening and used the free shuttle bus to the airport at our convenience in the evening. Thank You very much!"

"I have tried 3 transit hotel near Suvarnabhumi airport, so far this one is the best one. The hotel itself is big and new, on a quiet soi where locals live. The room is smaller than what it looks on the photo. Facilities are new and clean. If you book the balcony room, please note that the balcony does not meant for you to go out there, take a seat and relax because it is only a structure for placing the aircon ventilator right in the middle (but no complaint as I only stay here for 1 night). No free breakfast provided, yet you have a choice of breakest with only 100 B. Service is good. Front desk lady provides very good service in helping clients to call taxi. "

"If you require d a private and quiet break, then this is the best hotel for you. The design is good and the food they serve is one of the best in town. But if you are going to go to the market even late at night then it will be very inconvenient. Most of the time I will use their boat during the day time until 10 pm and you will say no more traffic jam in Bangkok. The is my choice of hotel in Bangkok and will definitely go back again and again."

"We used this hotel as a base and traveled around Thailand. The hotel staff were happy for us to leave our main suitcase here, so we only used hand luggage to fly to different locations instead of having to cart everything with us. The hotel is on a busy road, but there is no noise from the traffic in any of the rooms we stayed in. Fashion Island (shopping mall) is about 2mins walk away. On the other side there is a small arcade of shops and restaurants. The staff were able to get us a taxi to the airport very quickly (under 5 mins) and it cost less than 200 Baht to either airport. It's a bit of a trek into the center of Bangkok, but easy enough. There are buses opposite Fashion Island that tare you into Victory Monument. There is a good market there, and you can get on the overhead trains to take you across the city to the river (42 Baht)and then a water bus to the sights (40 Baht to the Royal Palace). Nice hotel, a bit out of the way, but with easy links to anywhere you need to get to :)"
