"Definitely one of the very nice hotel and value for money 5 star hotel in Chiang Mai. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Though slightly far from city center, there's a very nice Taiwanese-like night market just in front of the hotel with lots of local finger food and bazaar stuff to shop for. Room is nicely decorated and comfortable. There's also Carrefour not far away with a few fast food restaurants and food court. "

"Luxury hotel with all the due comfort, perfectly clean and with a staff that is excellent in making your stay unforgettable. The pool is just gorgeous, the breakfast with a lot of choice between thai and occidental food. They did their best in organising trips for us - exactly what we wanted, without trying to sell us other "options". Our sun was ill and they organised fos us the hospital transfert. Their recommendation for the hospital and the medical care were at the most high standards - belive me I'm a doctor in Geneva - and the price was insignificant. Really I give a first class appreciation to the medical care our son received in Chiang Mai and an excellent appreciation to the way the hotel staff guided us in this matter. By the way, we've been in august - which is considered the rainy season - what I must say is that it rains a lot less that in Geneva august high season. Other good point about the "rainy season" is that all the rice fields are in water, all Thailand is green ans you have at least 20 types of fruits at each meal, most of them delicious and completely unknown for the european I am till now. Concerning the location, is a bit excentric from the downtown but this is quite an advantage because is quiet and the price of tuk-tuk taxi is very low. If you go there by car a good GPS combined with the map the hotel provides you on the web, will get you there witout problem. I can only recomment this hotel for people that are visiting Chiang Mai."

"We have stayed in several hotels in Chiang Mai over recent years and this is by far the best experience. The buildings are of traditional design with lovely grounds, surrounded by very mature trees. It's easy to imagine that you are in a forest rather than in the middle of a city, a real oasis of calm. The rooms are splendid, with hand painted scenes on the walls. It had the biggest bathroom ever with a double ended bath and a huge walk-in shower too and a very comprehensive range of toiletries, even toothbrushes and mouth wash! The restaurant/bar is next to the pool, handy for snacks and drinks, and the evening menu offers a very wide choice of beautifully prepared and presented dishes which were such good value for money. All the staff were cheerful, friendly and helpful. I wish that we'd had longer to stay and would definately stay there again if I return to Chiang Mai. "

"we arrived late at night to panviman and we regret that we only had 12 hours of stay in this extremely beautiful hotel. first, our room, even though we had to walk up 4 floors, we were happy and was amazed by the room and its facilities. however the best comes in the morning when we took a walk around. the breakfast was great and the outdoor workout facility is very nice. we tried to book for the spa however it was fully booked as we were too late. however we were able to go around the spa area and it was very beautiful. the swimming pool was amazing and the meditation cave was one of a kind. i simply say: panviman is one of the best 5 stars hotel in chiang mai."

"after leaving bangkok to discover thailand's north, rarinjinda was a refreshing resort to escape the big smoke. in a fantastic location by the river, it was an easy walk to the centre of chiang mai but far enough away to avoid the hustle and bustle of the local markets at night. don't think that this resort is secluded though. there are some great restaurants on the same road as rarinjinda, such as deck one and the good view restaurant. if you also walk a little further down, there are also some beautiful homeware stores, which is where i bought a lot of gifts to take back home. if you stay at rarinjinda, make sure you put some time aside for a day spa treatment. it was very reasonably priced and a memorable part of the trip. with such fantastic service and at such a reasonable price, we would definitely choose to come back and stay at what we believe to be, is the best boutique resort in chiang mai."

"The Best Western Chiang Mai is a great choice of affordable price hotels in Chiang Mai. Each room is very clean and well-maintained, with international 4 stars standard amenities. The location may be too far from Chiang Mai city, but not a problem for a car travelers. There are a lots of parking available as well."

"First time to travel alone! This place is amazing near Chaingmai University ( Back door) just 5-10 mins walks to street food which sell cheap price and delicious food. Room is Superb ! nice and clean in room have amenities like 5 star hotel and Minibar in room is Free ( Love it lol) . I like swimming pool here is quiet not busy hotel open soft music around pool area. Breakfast is delicious you can choose many kind of eggs dish, food mixed with Asian and western style.All staff is warmly welcome and ready to help when you need it. This is 5 star service with cheap price. "

"Although this hotel is a few miles from Chiang Mai it is in a lovely peaceful setting and very tranquil. It is ideal as an away from it all location. There is a free shuttle service into Chiang Mai by boat in the morning and by minibus at night. Our room overlooked the River Ping and was well thought out in its layout. You could lay on the bed or in the bath and enjoy the views of the garden and the river. The infinity pool was a nice touch. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We wanted to go to a restaurant in Chiang Mai at 9.00pm on the Sunday evening and we asked reception to get us a taxi. They told us that the taxi was not available that evening but the receptionist offered to take us to the restaurant in her own car which we happily accepted. Now that's what you call customer service! Free wi fi was available at any point within the hotel grounds. Would definately recommend this hotel and would definately go back again. "

"Very good, pleased with cleanliness, and excellent value for my money. I would stay again. It's far out so taxi or transport required to tour Chiang Mai, but 7-11 nearby and food options around in walking distance, so one could be satisfied with no transport if not interested in touring around. My kids enjoyed the pool a lot and our room was always clean and new water bottles awaited. Would recommend to all travellers. I am happy with our stay. Very quiet and staff were very nice. "
