Beautiful little paradise”
This place is paradise. The tropical gardens are well kept and clean the pool is crystal clear and comfortable lounge chairs. The bedroom is specious and large bathroom. Every morning they served breakfast on the veranda and it was delicious. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They have a shuttle service several times a day to bring and pick up from town . Very convenient. I highly recommend this place

A wonderful find”
Don’t hesitate - this is a wonderful place to stay. We started off in a garden bungalow and were lucky to be able to upgrade to a bungalow looking over the river. Both types of bungalow were great and have left us with great memories. The staff are simply superb. Breakfast is served on the patio of your balcony.

Fantastic stay”
Loved everything thing about this place. From the airport pickup onwards everything was first class. The location, accommodation, gardens and the breakfast served at the time you request on your balcony/ terrace was delicious. Special mention must go the staff. They were all so friendly, helpful and polite. A real credit to themselves and the Guesthouse.

Best service ever”
Thongbay is really a fantastic place to be for a few days. All service-members have been so helpful and friendly. Then the free pick up and drop-off at the airport and a free transport to and from town. Also a nice swimmingpool, wwhich makes it interesting for families as well. I will definatly come back to this place. 10 out of 10! thank you very much

Lovely location at the river side”
We stayed one night at Thongbay Guesthouse and we were so pleased with the service, the accommodation and the lovely location. What a friendly staff and so helpful! we stayed at the riverside houses and it was very pleasant with a great breakfast in the morning. Next time when in Luang Prabang I will for sure go back.

Quiet and peaceful ”
Very clean and comfortable separate bungalows, good air con and also fans. Lovely surroundings, nice garden and a view out to the river. There is a very nice swimming pool just a short walk across the lane way and bungalows are also available poolside. The only negative is that the hotel is situated a little out of the main town, but transfers are available in the mornings and afternoons. Lovely friendly and very helpful staff. The breakfasts are huge and other meals are also available. A great place also to see the early morning alms ceremony without any crowds.

Amazing in all ways”
A family runned place just at the river. Nice, charming and spacious cabins. Some of them with river view. You may reach downtown and the nightmarket in 10 minutes by free shuttlebus and 15 minutes by bikes, which are also for free. Look forward to a delicious breakfast served at your balcony exactly at the time you want, Staff assist you with tours around in area. I strongly recommend a 4 hours trekking where you pass small villages and ends at the top of Kung See fall. You have a steep walk to the bottom of the fall, where you are allowed to swim. Hotel has free transportation from and to airport. Only very small downside is the very simple bathroom which may be cold especially in the morning.

Beautiful grounds, very well maintained. Beautiful new pool. Comfortable rooms, especially the river view rooms. Away from the hustle and noise of town, but everything is easily accessible on a free bicycle or on the regularly scheduled shuttle into town. Friendly staff, great service. I'm convinced that you can't do better for the price. Only disappointment for me was the noodle soup for breakfast. I was expecting pho and instead got Ramen noodles. The other items on the breakfast menu are very good. I'll go back.

You always have a car at most convenient times for pick and drop inside the main town area for free. Staff is lovely. breakfast is sumptuous and has lovely spots around the property where you can always enjoy your food.

Peaceful, magical place”
From the moment you arrive on the grounds at the Thongbay Guest House you feel welcomed and part of the family. There is such a peacefulness about the location overlooking the river that cannot be replicated anywhere. The breakfast is delicious, the free bikes are really fun, and the shuttle into town is really easy and convenient. The staff is the best part of this place though. They are very accommodating and friendly and will help in anyway they can. This place was recommended to me and I will recommend it to anyone going to Luang Prabang. I hope to come back!

Cleanliness and good service”
The bunglow is spacious and the garden is great. The staff there is very nice and helpful. The only defect is sound proof a little bit weak, so we can hear somebody walking at midnight.

Gorgeous place to stay”
A balcony overlooking the river in a quiet spot - what's not to like? The guesthouse is nicely done, the staff are helpful, the breakfasts are amazing and the potential drawback is the walk into town but the guesthouse offer a minibus with cheerful drivers. I love this place and will happy return
