it was amazingly relaxing. Spa was expensive and we made a mistake of getting laundry done here at usd40. (It wasn't a lot) The room was huge But the location is wonderful.. Empty and quiet Thuan An Beach where the waters are clean (not the clearest tho) the nearest seafood restaurant from Ana Mandara wAs where we went - very cheap, super fresh and prepared very simply.

This is a beautiful spot on a quiet beach with gorgeous views of the ocean. We had the place practically to ourselves both nights and so got to take advantage of the 3 glorious swimming pools and many different places to sit and relax. The staff are extremely nice and really want to make your stay pleasant. There are 2 restaurants, one down close to the beach and another open for drinks and dinner in the main building. The menus are the same but offer a nice, varied selection and excellent drinks. The shared facilities are fantastic and the bedrooms are certainly nice enough but fall short of the excellence elsewhere. Our in-room safe was broken, the exterior windows were dirty and not well maintained, and a couple of towels had holes in them. That kept me from five stars on the cleanliness and staff front. A little investment by the management could go a long way. Overall though, we would absolutely return and wish we had stayed longer. An amazing place and we highly recommend!

Before the Beach Bar opened, there was no budget accommodation at Thuan An Beach. Finally, travelers to Hue and locals alike can enjoy staying at the beach without shelling out money for a luxury resort. Prices for food and drinks here are also moderate. Our private room was nicer than I expected, though the lighting was quite dim. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was clean, adding to the experience an outdoor shower under the pine trees and stars. Almost all of the staff were friendly, and the lead receptionist was especially cheerful and helpful. They have an agreement with a taxi service to provide inexpensive transport to and from the city. Just call and ask them to send a taxi to wherever you are. My taxi from the Beach Bar to the city center was 180,000 dong total, and I was able to split that with two other guests.

Far from anywhere, run down, musty with an empty pool and bicycles that were a pure death trap due to poor servicing it is diicult to put a positive span on our two day stay. If you can find a rideable bike then it is worth cycling down the the beach and enjoying fresh seafood at very cheap prices. There are a couple of first class places on the beach worth spending tim at and staying at this hotel would save money rather than paying top dollar but staying amongst a tumbling ruin with everything needing fixing is not conducive to a relaxing time. Such a shame.
