Lovely! For first timers it was an amazing experience!”
Pros: close to airport only a 15min boat ride. Good for couples. The buffet, yes. Don’t skip those! Go full board coz ours was only half board. No lunch included. Easy communication with boat rides to airport and back. We have lunch reservations on a different resort but they coordinated with the other resort and they settled it with breeze. Even called at night to confirm the time with us. Staff are beyond friendly! 6 stars to them! Smiling as always! Cons: boat transport not included in your reservation. Expect to pay $200 extra. Romantic dinner not that romantic but if you enjoy the sound of the waves and less light then that’s for you but not for us. We still did it anyway for the fun experience. Waves were too strong have to wait for low tide to take a swim but then again you cannot control Mother Nature. Not for kids nor family. The title says lovers paradise. Go find other resorts that offers kiddie stuff. Better for couples.

Very nice stay!”
After staying 2 nights at the water bungalow, we moved to one of the beach villas to see the difference. I have to say that the beach villas are even slightly better and newer than the water bungalows from inside. Wifi was better here than in our water villa. My wife and me felt very comfortable in this place and the location with a beach view was also great. I would recommend everyone to try both the water villas and the beach villas. We would definitely stay here again.

A paradise ”
We were supposed to stay for 5 nights but ended up staying for 12. We had an amazing experience. We first stayed in the water bungalow. The view is just very calming. You have the sea just right at your fingertips. Good for snorkeling with different species of marine animals. If you get lucky you can have close encounters with sharks, turtles and manta rays. The only problem I have with these rooms are the mosquitoes. Next we stayed on the beach villa where you have easy access to their beach. The rooms here are much cleaner and spacious. I fell in love with their sunset beach. The baby sharks which you can oftentimes see near the beach are harmless as long as you don't touch them. They are so mesmerizing. You can have encounters with bigger coral reef sharks while snorkeling but we were informed that they are safe just make sure you keep your eye on them. Best from the holiday in this resort was the band who played on one of the nights. They deserved to be heard worldwide as they make their own version of different genres of music. Lastly, the staff are very accommodating and hospitable. The only recommendations that I can give is for them to offer more varied entertainments. Perhaps, one night of movie showing. We highly recommend this resort and by far our best holiday ever.

GREAT little island”
We spend 5 days on the island in July 2019. Beach is great, island is really beautiful, can't miss with that. Stuff is professional, also great. Prices are ok, for instance coctails are 9-15$. We had breakfast and dinner included, there is plenty of options for both. Fish, meat, vegetables, fruits, desserts, coffee. Soft drinks and alcohol were not included in ''breakfast&dinner included'' price. Coffee is. We took a beach villa what is better option, especially if the weather is volatile. Nature is great. Boat transfer (100$/person) was ok, punctual - boat is small speedboat.

Excellent island resort. Value for money. Water villas are really great and have good ocean view. We stayed 3 nights in water villa and 1 night in beach villa. Rooms are very good and clean. Food is excellent.

FANTASTIC”
It's an amazing place to spend your time there and as a newly married couple we enjoyed a lot. We love their hospitality and gesture. Entire staff in the island was fantastic and helpful. We had chosen breakfast and dinner included package which came in buffet, however, there's restaurant menu which would fit your budget and taste. In a nutshell it was a lovely memorable visit at such a lovely place surrounded with lovely people. Love you Maldives and the people of Maldives.

The resort was close to the airport. It took 20 minutes to come to the island by speed boat. The resort was nice. Value for money. The breakfast, lunch and dinner was good. They had a huge spread. Staff were kind and friendly. Stayed at the water villa and the beach villa. Both were good. The beach villa was bigger then the water villa.

We had a great time bringing in 2021 at this property. Staff are very nice and helpful. Ashok and Wahid, took great care to ensure we had a hassle free trip. Snorkeling and scuba school on the island. Food buffet spread is good. The water villas are so awesome. Would love to come back .

Amazing honeymoon”
My wife and me had a wonderful time in this beautiful resort. The rooms were clean and spacious, bed was very comfortable. I really loved the water villa and there was even a sunset view (right side). Staff in the resort was very lovely and friendly, food in the restaurant was absolutely delicious. We even upgraded to all inclusive to enjoy our honeymoon more. Boat transfer from the airport was in time and without any problemsl. We would definitely recommend the Thulhagiri and would stay again.

Fantastic bang for the buck especially the overwater bungalows. Plus large lap pool! Only negatives were thin, hard bed mattresses, so ask for additional blankets to make softer. Also meats in buffets were a little overcooked, chewy, and dry. but great and delicious variety of veggie dishes.

Recommended for a family with older children as the chalet has a connecting room. Half an hour from the airport jetty to the island. The staff are friendly and very informative. Fast response to all my enquires from Thulhagiri rep, as this is my first time to the Maldives.

Not affordable but worth it”
Our three-night stay at Water Villa in Thulhagiri Island would definitely be a memorable one for life. Let's talk about the transport from the Male airport to the Island. We paid 200 USD for two people to and fro. The speed boat was nice as you will get the view of other Islands and resorts in between. On arrival, your bag will be picked up by the stuff for direct deposit into your water villas. They serve with a welcome drink. The water villas are really nice and you will have a balcony to enjoy the view. A cofee table inside the room will give you the view of water beneth. The stuffs are really nice. Neither they willask for any tip. They just perform theit duty at their best. In breakfast you willhave variety of cousins. Indian-British etc. A wide varieties of juices and fruits willbe available. Best budget choice”
Go for it if you have a mid budget range. Value service for money. The housekeeping and restaurant employees are very nice and helping. Island is Very close to the airport, just 20 mins ride on a speedboat. Would be great if they can provide more excursion options and have more variety on the food menu. The breakfast and dinner buffet is repetitive everyday, pls do change it.
