Very Peaceful Stay”

It's down the mountain from the QingJing Farm area, so it is quieter It's a great place to unwind and drink green tea, but you have to be aware of the bus times, since there isn't much around. 15 minutes down a steep hill is a Family Mart. There are only 3 buses a day going to HehuanShan and you should make a reservation. The owners were very friendly. They accommodated every request; even helping me store and reheat leftovers. It was a very peaceful stay.

Perfect place with the perfect hosts”

Other than being a little far from the center of activity in Cingjing, my stay in Tian Hsiang couldn’t have been any better. The place is very neat and provides a spectacular view of the mountains. There were even some sakuras in the yard. Upon check-in, Rachel and Austin provided me with all the information I needed and were very helpful. I had an unfortunate incident of leaving my coat in the bus I took but was able to retrieve it within the day with the help of my hosts. I owe so much to them. I highly recommend Tian Hsiang Tea Hostel.

One of the best hostel that I have stayed in Taiwan!!! Upon reaching the hostel by nantou bus, the owner came out to welcome me with a warm smile and took my luggage into the hostel and gave me a warm cup of tea. The owner was warm and friendly. She was patient and caring to explain and recommend how I can travel around Cingjing. She gave me the hostel number and told me to call the number if I am lost. Even though I was a solo traveller, her hospitality made me feel very welcome and not alone. They provide steamboat dinner for 280TWD if you order. A very delicious and heartwarming steamboat meal made with fresh vegetables grown by the hostel owner herself. The room was big and clean and have all the amenities you need. Clean toilet and comfortable bed. An unforgettable experience with Tian Hsiang Tea Hostel! Will come back again if there is an opportunity:)

Awesome place, amazing hospitality”

Tian Hsiang is a strategic location which is only approximately 100m away from a bus station "Yi ma nei li". The bus brings you up to the green green grassland, 7-eleven/ Starbucks/ information counter. We booked a double room with mountain view, it was absolutely memorable. At night, from the balcony of our room, we were able to see a sky full of stars. The place is pretty clean, the boss of the place is very patient in helping us to arrange our transportation from cingjing to hualien even though it was a pretty last minute decision. If you would like to enjoy the sunrise in "he huan shan", just inform the bosses, they will make the arrangements for you at a cost of 400NTD per pax if not mistaken. Overall, staying at Tian Hsiang is one of the best decisions we have made throughout our whole trip in Taiwan. Highly recommended!

Fantastic Stay”

Stayed here for a night. The staff/owners of this hostel were friendly to go through and provide all the required information we needed to kickstart our trip in Cingjing e.g. Bus timing/Show information. As such, we managed to cover 90% of Cingjing with just a night stay! They also provided breakfast which was very homely, includes toast, taiwanese porridge and super nice oolong milk tea. Location wise, we were surprised at first as we were the first to drop off the public bus and wondered why our stay were not closer to the attraction, but i can bet you its a blessing to be away from all the buzz. Oh, and did i mention u can see the sunset from their sundeck, and the view of the sunrise was nice! Overall, a pleasant stay for Cingjing and i will recommend this place to my friends if they are heading over.

Great!”

While it is far from the main attractions such as Cingjing grassland, there is a bus stop just a short walk away from the hostel that can bring you up to the attractions. The plus points were that the hostel had excellent views, but be sure to choose the room with the balcony. Take note that there is no convenience store nearby so buy your supplies before heading back to the hostel. There is a also a famous restaurant next to the hostel that sells roasted chicken that is worth a try. For breakfast, we were served a nice meal of porridge, simple side dishes, toast and their home made oolong milk tea. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and we would recommend this place to other travellers.

Possibly one of the best stays I've had. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, going through the entire map with me after knowing that it was my first time at Cing Jing and that I was alone. When I am not back by around 8pm, they were really concerned and messaged to make sure I could get back to the hostel on my own. The room is really clean and spacious, also have a great view! Also, since it is a tea house, breakfast always has tea and milk tea!! The only concern is probably its location at the edge the area which is considered Cing Jing. But, fret not, because the friendly staff made sure I knew the various transports available to me, and their schedules. I had no problem going to-and-fro Cing Jing thanks to their clear explanation of all the information I needed. Do note that they have pets (I've seen a dog, a cat and a parrot)! Most people in Cing Jing seem to have pets...

Location, cleanliness, and friendly staff”

I booked single room with private external bathroom, even though it was a single room, but the room is very spacious like double room, and the external bathroom was solely used by me only. The hotel location is very near to public bus station, although the location is not at the mountain top, but the scenery still nice. The lady owner is very friendly, she explained in details the attractions of Cingjing farm, printed public bus schedule, and where to settle my lunch and dinner since I was a single traveler. The hotel did offering sunrise tour at Hehuan mountain costs NTD$400, which is valuable for money and great memorable experience.

Friendly and hlepful staffs. Excellent mountain view!”

Very friendly staff. Helped us arrange cab and dinner. The room we got was the one with the balcony, as shown in the picture. Excellent view of the mountains. With the cool weather, an excellent place to have tea and relax. Breakfast is quite simple. The coconut spread is quite nice. But the most impressive breakfast item is the oolong tea with milk. This is a must try! Location is a bit out of the way from the main attractions though. For those taking public bus, alight at the bus stop "Yi Ma Nei Li". The bus stop is not obvious but there are Chinese and English announcements for each stop in the bus. Probably a good idea to contact the mingsu first prior to arrival to get the direction and other vital info.

The place isn't new but it's well maintained. They serve hotpot as dinner but do inform them early as their ingredients (vegetables) are homegrown and handpicked. Their Oolong Milk Tea is superb and their breakfast spread is simple but delicious. There's a stargazing/sunrise trip that you can arrange with them at NT400/pax. Will recommend it to others who are looking for peace and relaxation.
