Family-run hotel, great for backpackers”
I stayed for two nights in June, and was very pleased with the time I spent there. The hotel is situated 15 minutes away from Luodong Train Station, and just 5 minutes away from Luodong Night Market. There is a small 7-11 in the proximity of the hotel, so in case of need, food a drinks can be bought there. The hotel is not new, but clean and tidy. It's run by a Taiwanese family, very welcoming and nice people (their English is very limited though, so it's better if you can communicate Chinese on a basic level). There's a reception downstairs and a couple of rooms upstairs, which are each equipped with standard beds, TV, air-conditioning and nice bathroom. The room and the furniture are clean, beds comfortable. Rooms are cleaned daily. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at the hotel again. I recommend it to all fellow travelers and backpackers. :-)

The room provided is up to my expectation. The washroom is clean and spacious. All essentials are provided and replenished daily during housekeeping. For tourists who are on free-and-easy package, you may consult the counter lady for advice in planning your trip at LuoDong, YiLan. She and her family are friendly and approachable. Tourists feel free to consult them as they are very familiar the places of attraction; thus, can help tourists to plan your travelling time well. Self-printed maps, Wifi, loan of bicycles & umbrellas are provided. However, the hotel is a certain distance away from the LuoDong railway station. The travelling time from the hotel to the railway station is about 10-15mins (depends on individual). The travelling time is fine with me and overall i'm pleased with their service & hotel.

the hotel is located 15mins away from zhongshan shopping street. the staffs are very friendly and eager to offer help, gave us recommendation on local delights. the hotel room is big and comfortable, comes with free wifi. The hotel is about 1km away from the rail station where u can take train to hot spring area for relaxation. Overall it’s been a good experience and strongly recommended for travelers who wants a convenient and good service hotel.

Good. But we experienced a problem when checking in. Originally three of us are staying in that hotel, but one of our friend (not staying with us) changes her mind to stay with us. So when we approach the counter to ask for any quad room, they said there's no any quad room instead of room for six people. But when we got back in the evening, the staff there asked us why there's 4 people staying in a triple room as they said there's quad room. I think the staff there should explain it to us correctly next time to avoid any misunderstanding. Thank you.

Small room with good service”
We were there during Chinese New Year. So it is really overpriced for such a small room with no window. We paid twice the price of a normal day. 20 minutes walk to Luodong Rail Station. Staff is very helpful as this is a family business. Breakfast is a sandwich and drink delivered to your doorstep

overall ok. not very near to the night market as need to walk about 1 km. The hotel quite old but still room condition are ok for the one assigned to us. Provide simple buy in Breakfast and quite ok but I think they can improve by providing more in portion and varieties. Good thing is free wifi and signal is good inside the room.

10-15 min walk to night market. Take cab to train station was around NT$120. Comfortable room with great AC and water pressure. Breakfast was simple sandwiches and soy milk that purchased from breakfast place by hotel staff.

Located not far (about 10-15 minutes walk) from the Main Train Station in neighborhood seems to be very local. Small stalls of every kind, markets, canteens etc. 15 minutes walk to the night market. English-speaking lady (owner, probably) was kind to and helpful.

We planned to drive forward to explore the mountains early the next day. We arrived late and we were tired. Check-in was quick and straightforward. After that we got some good advice for dinner venues and we had a very good rest. Staff is nice and we'll be back next time we plan to go to the east coast.
