Great hotel and wonderful restaurant”
The Starway Premier Tianan Rega Hotel was just what was needed after a long international flight. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning was functional, personal storage areas were generous, and the bathroom even had a magnifying mirror. The buffet breakfasts were a favorite part complete with numerous selections in a picturesque setting. This hotel is within walking distance of subway line 1, Forbidden City, and Tien'an Men Square. I definitely plan to stay in the Tianan Rega Hotel during my next stay in Beijing.

Lovely business style hotel at top location”
The TianAn Rega hotel is a modern and stylish business hotel at a very convenient location for sightseeing, in walkable distance to the Forbidden City, Tianmen Square, Wangfujing shopping area and night market. There are two subway stations in a short distance. The rooms at this hotel are very clean, the bathroom is modern and stylish (with large shower cabin). The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and they speak English quite well. We had two separate booking with agoda for this hotel (2 x 2 day) and everything worked well. They even organised taxi and wake up call in the early morning (4am) to reach the Airport on time. We were extremely happy with this hotel and there is nothing we can complain about it. The only downside could be that some rooms have windows to an inside narrow courtyard instead of outside windows and that the carpets are a little bit worn, but we didn’t feel uncomfortable due to this.

Tian'An Rega Hotel is located between Tian'An Men (Forbidden City) and Wangfujing shopping street. With Wangfujing Station just 5-7 mins walk away, it is great for travelling to other parts of Beijing using the subway. Then hotel gives guests a small but warm feeling, and it's staff are quite conversant in English, which is important for most travellers. Services are prompt and efficient. Staff at the Concierge, and Business Centre (which also provides bookings for day tours) afre very helpful and friendly. Overall, the hotel gives guests a reason to go back again and again.

this is my first time staying in tianan rega hotel for 2 nights. the hotel staff are friendly and helpful with our check-in requests. the location of the hotel is within the walking distance to forbidden city and wang fu jing shopping street. the room is also clean and comfortable to stay in. its prices are considered good for its good location.

Fantastic location”
Stayed in this hotel for 4 days,after travelling from Shanghai on the bullit train(4.5hrs express G train)Travelled by taxi about 30 mins from South Beijing railroad station.The room size for a standard queen bed is good,although if you can ask for a room with a view of the forbidden city do so, as because of the hotel roof shape,many rooms have only ceiling windows which only alows for .The location is unbelievableas it is close to so many must se tourist attractions,Wangfujing street(the main street for disigner shopping and also local street market,which sells just about anything.Travelling to badaling wall which is the best section of the Great Wall is easy by bus (2hrs from Wangfujing station Line 1 then line 2 station.Catch bus number 877 at the bus transit.Overall the stay at this hotel for price and location will impress any fussy person.

Best location in Beijing!”
The Tian An Rega Hotel is the perfect place to stay if you are only in Beijing for a short period of time and you want to be within walking distance of all of the major attractions. It is an easy walk (10 min) to the Forbidden City complex (you can see it from the roof of the hotel!) and Tiananmen Square. It is also a shorter walk to Wang Fujing pedestrian street and all the shopping there. We did a tour to the Wall through the hotel and the pick up was right oul. Despite requesting a non-smoking room our room smelt a bit smokey but it wasn't too bad. The aircon didn't really work and the room was quite hot but again, not too bad. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom clean, the shower excellent and the restaurant amazing. Oh, and the wifi worked in the room.

Hotel style classic, beautiful, comfortable, spacious room, great location. Staff helpful and efficient. Free WiFi in the lobby. It is 250m from the trendy Wangfujing street where are the biggest malls in Beijing and 300m from the Wangfujing subway station. You can go walking to the Forbiden City, Tiananmen Square, Mausoleum, The Great Hall of the People and National Center of the Performing Arts. Attention: In Beijing there are many street vendors and small rogue traders who charge prices far above correct. Check everything before you buy. As they only speak Chinese, a good tip is to carry a calculator and ask for they type the price before confirming purchase. This makes it harder to be tricked. In a small shop, the owner wanted to charge me 117 Yuan for a few items that cost 32 Yuan. In Wangfujing there are two lanes with numerous stalls selling Chinese food. A vendor wanted to charge me 120 Yuan for a portion that cost 10 Yuan. Avoid eating in these places because the food is bad and lack hygiene. Very careful with taxi drivers. At the airport or at the train stations only take taxi in the taxi queue. Many dishonest people comes offer taxi in the queue. Do not accept because they use equipment adulterated and will charge at least 3 times the correct price.

Great Location”
Very close to Forbidden City, Wangfujing Street, and the metro. You’re in the heart of Beijing with both modern shops and little hidden cafes in the alleyways. Streets are not very well lit, but lots of people and tourists around so we felt safe walking around this area. We were upgraded to a room with a view, although it was just a view of another hotel we were happy with it! Bathroom was very clean, linens were clean, windows open so you can get fresh air. The bed was really comfortable! Great fast wifi in the room Carpet is looking a little worn and needs replaced, some of the furniture also was looking dated. Restaurant serves great Peking Duck for an affordable price. Staff was very helpful to call us taxis when needed and wants to make sure you are traveling with safe taxis and tours.

we loved this hotel. we were really surprise with the beds especially. most china hotels have hard beds but tianan rega hotel provides its customers with soft beds that makes your stay relaxing and comfortable. although english is not spoken by many chinese, the staff try their best to answer your questions. we will surely stay in this hotel again once we come back to beijing.

This is a small boutique hotel on a quiet street between the shopping street of Wangfujing and Tianamen Square.Rooms are very nice and well appointed. You are just a 4 minute walk to the subway station,Wangfujing night market food street, or Tianamen Square and Forbideden city. There is a small but very nice massage spa just a few doors down that does both foot and body massage for a very rreasonable price. Wangfujing street has shopping,great resturaunts,western fast food and in nice weather outdoor cafes for beer or soft drinks. There is also a small park across the street from hotel which leads to Forbidden city without the crowds

Great stay, location, comfort”
The reception female staffs need more smile [which is rare in Beijing], the Mr. manager is better & helpful. we arrive early morning 6am with taxi meter off at RMB150, share with another passenger. waited at the lobby until 8am+ the bell man chase us off due to no ordering of drinks from the cafe. Then we go out side have a 1st walk at Wang Fu Jing st, just 5min walk distance! we had a noodle & dumpling at a nearby restaurant. we back to hotel at 10am & fortunately there's 1 room for us. checked in & took a nice shower with the strongest water pressure ever had... it's easy to take a bus to temple of heaven about 20min, then go to luo gu siang night market. 2nd day we join 1 day tour booked from hotel to great wall at RMB350/p, include lunch & ticket. it's a English speaking tour with mostly westerner. 3rd day we walk 15min to Forbidden city for 1 day visit, cant believe we walk back to hotel from back of forbidden city! 2 or 3km?.. 4th day check out & go to summer palace which takes 30min of subway, back to hotel at late afternoon & call a meter taxi [only RMB90+] to airport.

Great Hotel & Great Service”
The Tian An Rega is a great hotel in a GREAT location!! The hotel is within easy walking distance of Wanfujing Shopping Street and a short walk from The Forbidden City and Tiananman Square!! We chose this hotel for the location and we were not disappointed!! The staff spoke English and were very helpful!! The hotel and rooms were nice and had everything we needed and bonus: the beds were soft!!

Great Hotel, Great Location”
Overall a good hotel at an excellent price. They could charge much more and the quality is that you would see at a hotel twice or three times as much. The hotel is located close to the subway station and Wangfujing shopping street. The rooms were nice and clean. It is what I would expect from this kind of hotel. They offered all the needed toiletries and their water boiler is probably the best I have ever seen. The staff was excellent. They offered us a free room upgrade. Also when we had any issues, they sent a person up to our room within minutes. They were very attentive to our needs. They even reminded us that we had a morning tour scheduled the night before. I plan to stay here again the next time I come back to Beijing.

Very accommodating”
When I arrived at the hotel, I discovered they had given the room I booked away to a group. I asked if they could compensate me in another way, and they were happy to offer a free breakfast buffet for my first morning. My second night I was moved to a nicer room and it was comfortable and nice! I was quite impressed with the atmosphere and quality of the rooms for the price. And the location is GREAT! Just a few minutes walk to WangFuJing shopping street in one direction and Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City in the other. Also, located between two subway stops.

Location, Clean and very comfortable beds”
Just 10 mins from subway station. Just 10 mins walk from Forbidden City. Wangfujing Street is just around the corner. What a great location. Beds are very comfortable and room is big and clean. Staff are very accommodating. We speak Chinese and did not have any problem. We did not eat at the hotel however there is a restaurant on the second floor. I would stay here again!!

Located right beside the Forbidden City, the TianAn Rega was great value for money. Helpful staff. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The travel desk provided great service. Rail tickets can be booked and picked up the same day. Recommended for western travellers.

The Tian An Rega hotel is situated just next to Forbidden City. From the roof terrace you can look down at the Forbidden City, while having a nice cold beer/juice/water or something else. The rooms were not so big, but big enough, unless you plan to spend a lot of time at the hotel. It was quite modern and the bathroom was nice. There is a bit more to wish for from the cleaning staff, but if you don't look in the corners or under the bed, you'll be alright. We got a free parking just outside the hotel during the whole weekend. The staff was friendly and there was always someone who could speak English at the front desk. We did not try the breakfast (it looked a bit too Chinese), but went to Wangfujing (only 500 m from the hotel) to get some western breakfast. The hotel was really good value for money and we will absolutely recommend this to our friends or even stay there another time we go to Beijing.

Really enjoyed staying at TianAn Rega Hotel. The room was nice. The hotel is just within walking distance to many tourist attractions including Forbidden city, TIananment Square, Art Theatre, and many other. Wan Fu jiang st is also close by. just a few steps from the hotel, we can find restaurants, shops, shopping malls, souvenir shops and many others
