Budget choice
Budget budget budget
The hotel not centrally located but it is not too difficult to get around. Breakfast is too simple i would suggest to skip it altogether. There is quite a distance walk to the nearest metro station but there is bus stop nearby. Buses bring you to every part of the city. Consider the price that it offers, overall i dont think it is a bad choice at all especially you are looking for a quite bunk.

Dirty and poor service
sorry none
I am sad to say hotel was poor . Breakfast room was dirty with one wall having mold growing all over it ,breakfast served between 7-9 but some times when we went at 8 there was very little left and it is not topped up ,the front desk was also poor service ( my wife is Chinese so it was not a language problem )to be fair it was cheap but you can get better for your money . we had booked 17 days and the sheets were only changed 2 times , the sink was blocked in the bathroom for a couple of days , the tv also did not work for a couple of days , wireless internet was so poor it would not even download my emails .

Great Hotel for the Price
Room is large and has a bathtub.
The room was quite large, clean, everything functioned properly, and it even has a bathtub. The staff are friendly and helpful, though they do not know English.

Nice location in the center of city
good rooms, but need more lamp
the hotel is good, the location is in the center of the city, so we can find it easily. but we got problem with the receptionist, as they cannot understand english and cannot understand the agoda voucher that we have printed completely. we should fight as they informed us that we didn't pay the room. we hope they can improve it for better business with foreigner. also the room seems very old, maybe it caused of the lightness, please consider to add more lamps.

Value for Money
Helpful staff, location and value for money
We booked our stay in Tienzhidao hotel due to location in the middle of the city and the price the room is relatively cheap. The hotel is a bit old, the good thing is there is WIFI even the wifi sometimes not really working properly. The location of the hotel is also relatively good in the middle of the city hence it's quite near to nearby several places. For breakfast, can not comment as we leave early hence not trying the breakfast included.

Good Value at this Chinese non touristy hotel
Large suite type room, TV, electric jug and chinese tea
This is a nice Chinese hotel not a foreigners tourist hangout. We enjoyed the experience managing to communicate our requirements with the hotel staff. Room was good value, clean, older suite style. Great Chinese breakfast and the Nescafe was whipped out as soon as we appeared. WiFi a bit iffy at times but I was shown seated area on floor where it worked. Great if you want a more authentic Chinese experience.

Tianzhidao Hotel
The staff was friendly
they messed up the reservation, although it was clear...they had already given away all of the double/queen bed rooms...soo we ended up with two twins. the entire hotel including all the rooms smell like smoke. i understand that in china people can smoke wherever they please, but we have stayed in hotels or hostels that manage to keep the smoke to certain floors or what not... not here... here there was smoke everywhere, and no different floors. it was relatively cheap, but we went to the national park and on the way back, stayed at a different hostel that was a million times better. location wasn't great either, not really close to anything.
