Quite a comfortable hotel - good location.”
Read the reviews and considered if it was worth the AUS$18 a night. Considered that there was no bfast in the price. Considered the walk to Banglar (5 minutes). Considered the restaurant was expensive and complaints about the food. Considered all of that and decided that for the price in August 2012 it was worth a try. Was not disappointed. The proximity to shopping and Banglar was great - close enough to walk not so close you feel you are in the midst of it. Went elsewhere for bfast - no dramas. Ate there one night because of an alcohol ban and they were still serving - great and the food was good. Not large meals but enough. Beer was cold - yipee. Check-in = perfect and no fuss. Check-out = slight delay as General Manager got someone to do a check out for us - no problems. I booked a late check out for me and my Father 500THB to stay until 7pm - no problems. Had a great stay and the building looks pretty interesting. Word of warning there are two TIGER HOTELS. One is near the Banglar Boxing Staduim - that is not this one! You want the TIGER INN HOTEL on the main road. That's if you take the hotel. When we were getting ready to return to Phuket to stay at this hotel (Aug 2012) we found that the TIGER DISCO had a massive fire which resulted in fatalities. We did notice that the bottom floor of this hotel is made of the same material that had such a dramatic affect on the fire outcomes of TIGER DISCO. Whilst there are fire escapes everywhere, it could be a challenge getting below the first floor if something went wrong. Of course totally up to your sense of risk tolerance. Just for your information. Room standard was ok for the price. Don't expect anything too special, but you can wake up there with or without a hangover just fine.

Always a great stay at Tiger Inn”
The Tiger Inn Hotel in Patong is probably the best hotel in the are st this price point. The rooms are very large by any hotel standard, complete with all amenities. The hotel is very clean, with a decent restaurant on the main floor. Bangla Road is a few min walk away, and the beach is around the corner, about 15 min away if you walk at a leisurely pace. Tiger Inn sets a very high standard in the area, at any price point. I have been to Phuket several times and stayed at many hotels. I will continue to stay at Tiger Inn while in Patong.

Tiger Inn, Patong Beach”
Tiger Inn Patong Beach came in as the most inexpensive hotel we could find in the area. This is our 4th time in Phuket and have stayed in many other hotels. Of all the hotels so far, Tiger Inn is by far the best, even when disregarding the price we paid for other hotels (some were more than double). The rooms are spacious, clean, with a large bathroom and a fridge too. Breakfast was included and you get a choice of a few options when ordering. Bangla Road is a 5 min walk away, and the beach is 15 min in the other direction. They set a higher standard for all other hotels in the area, even at a higher price point.

Aberdeen ---Tiger Inn April 2009. Stayed in the Tiger Inn for 7 night's before moving down the coast to the "Mom Tri Boathouse Hotel" Kata Beach. Had a great time in the Tiger Inn , hotel is only a few minute walk from Bangla road and a 5 min walk from Patong beach. Had a superior room which was massive , cleaned every day and could not fault it at all. Had American breakfast in hotel everyday which was very good and it was always a pleasure to be served by the happy and friendly waitreses. Actually ate in the hotel often and the choice and quality off the meals was excellent plus very good value. Found the sfaff to be very helpfull and friendly Would recommend the Tiger Inn ,,,Great Place I will definatly use again in Fact going back in August this year.

we booked only for one day at the beginning,but ended up with staying for 4days at tiger inn. the price is really good with big and clean room.the staff are very nice,and provide us with tasty welcoming drink. the location is also very good,very close to the patong beach ,lots of shops,restaurants nearby. we really had a nice stay at tiger inn. i'll definitely choose this hotel again when i come to phuket next time.

Best Hotel in Phuket!!!”
First when I arived to hotel was first reaction, vau, cant be real, so good. In a picture in internet it wasn't so good. I like it. First night took the shower and drank one hennesy cognac in downstair bar and it was very good experience, all was so friendly. All nights in hotel was awsome and next day morning all the time my room make up perfectly. when I came back all was clean and nice and minibar was full, best! I will say when I come back to phuket patong beach, then hotel what I will choose is Tiger Inn, 100%. I will say about mid september or end. Then We see again. Thank You for everything, I loved to stay there and I miss. C' You

2nd time at Tiger Inn and it was Great!!”
This was my 2nd time in Phuket, Thailand/Tiger Inn. The experience has been superb and very welcoming. 1. Location : 10-15 mins walk from Bangala road which is heart of the city. The strip has all the booze and girls you can have, at least from what I've seen. 2. Food : Being a vegetarian, the options were very limited and I could only get Veg Fried Rice and some fries which was kinda OK. But if you're someone who wants to try Thai/local food then I guess they'll have some options for you or if you plan to ignore all that, you've got multiple options down the road. 3. Rooms : Well I've been there twice and the rooms that I choose were 'Superior' and they were adequate in size, with clean bedsheets/blanket. The shower pressure was perfect with hot water available all the time. The view was towards the mountains which was great and I had them use the room freshener to get rid of that funky smell. Overall experience was great and I would book the same hotel.

Great hotel with perfect location ”
Have a wonderful stay in Tiger Inn with good pricing obtained from Agoda along with complimentaty good breakfast. Good location with Bangla road just a stone throw away. Accessible to beach (just one street behind)and big shopping mall Jungceylon. Wifi connection and speed is amazingly good. However, only one recptionist who is fluent in English speaking, perhaps need to improve; however overall staff are pretty friendly and helpful. They even help to call to check with our tour agent on their late arrival using personal cell phone. Will definitely recomand to others who plan to go to Phuket, Patong beach.

Tiger Inn Hotel is good choice to stay in Phuket. Although only stay 2 days there, I can found this hotel is great location in Patong Town, just infornt of Thanon Ratuthit Songroipi(main road), near to patong beach, shop areas and nightlife areas. In addition, The hotel environment is clean and quiet. My words 'stay with no worries'.

Nothing bad to say”
We only stayed at Tiger Inn for one night as we were passing through Phuket, but we had a great time. We loved having breakfast and drinks in the tiger-themed restaurant. We had booked a room with an extra bed for a 3rd person, and the extra bed was as comfortable as the beds, not a thin cot like at other hotels. We asked for help with finding ferry times, and the desk workers called for the information and booked our tickets for us. Overall, it was a great experience and we have no complaints.

My Best Stay In Phuket”
Well.. I've stayed in a few higher-end hotel in Phuket before, this is the best hotel i've stayed. It's sure value for money. Please don't mistaken the location of the Hotel like I did, as it's named Tiger Inn. I first thought it was somewhere in Tiger Entertainment, but it's actually a street away. So it won't be nosy disturbing your sleep, still very near to party if you can't sleep. I've mentioned more pros than cons.. check it out yourself.

Great location ”
Stayed here for 3 nights before going to Krabi. Tiger Inn is located with everything you want on your doorstep. Great looking hotel and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Only downside is noise in the general area goes on until 3am and then building works near by start at 6am. If you've been to Patong before you'll know it's one huge party zone. So noise is to be expected almost everywhere. That would not deter me from staying there again. All in all the hotel was great value for money. A pool would be a nice addition.

2 nights are not enough for Patong and Tiger Inn!”
Tiger Inn is conveniently located on Rat-U-Thit 200 Pee Road.Out of the hotel, a right turn and a short walk will take you to the overwhelmingly popular Restaurant No. 6. Across the hotel and slightly to the left must be the cheapest t-shirt/souvenirs shop around. The service in Tiger Inn was very good and the concierge even helped to stop the traffic when we needed to cross the road. There was a band downstairs but we were not disturbed by any loud music. The room was big and clean and we had a good night's sleep. The airport bus is supposed to pass by the road where the hotel is located. All in all, a good choice for a short stay in Phuket

Clean comfortable rooms, handy location”
stayed here for one night on our way back from the islands. tiger inn was a great hotel. easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars. the staff were lovely...we booked through agoda and though our voucher had not yet been emailed through, they let us go to the room & use their computers to check for the voucher every couple of hours. we had dinner in the restaurant which was soo yummy! a little pricey compared to the nearby establishments but well worth it for a great meal. the room was great, very clean and spacious. loved the jungle type feel to the hotel & the rock bathroom. would happily stay here again.

Fun Hotel. Great Location”
Loved the hotel, reminds me of the Flinstones slightly. The shower/ bath was fantastic :) The room was spaceous and well set out. Great view of the main street from the 4th floor. I love the location of this hotel.. close enough to walk to Bagala Rd in about 5-10 mins, and there are so many resturants near by if you dont want to dine down stairs at the Tiger Inn (they have great food and cocktails). The beach is also about a 5minute walk around the corner. Only thing I had a problem with was, there isnt a remote for the aircon. I had to ask staff to come and turn it up because the room was too cold at one stage. (So the aircons do work well here)

We had a fantastic stay at tiger inn. We actually extended our stay there due to great location and friendly staff. The staff was very helpful in arranging taxis and pointing us in the right direction for shopping and food. This hotel is short walking distance away from great seafood restaurants and bars as well as shopping. The band playing at the restaurant is quite good as well and worth checking out. The food at the restaurant downstairs is very good as well with reasonably priced drinks

Best hotel during my Vacation”
I stayed in 5 different hotels throughout my 3 week vacation in Thailand, and Tiger Inn was my favourite. It was very affordable and clean, and included more than the average hotel room. It is just steps from Patong's nightlife along Bangla Road, and just around the corner from the beach. The breakfast runs till 11am, so you can get a late start on a relaxing day. They have an in-house band that doesn't play till very late in the night. And importantly, there were plenty of English television programming on TV so we could keep up with the holiday specials from back home.

Decent hotel, some hotel staff not good”
Tiger-Inn is a good value for money hotel that is very near the right places in Phuket (Patong Beach, Bangla Road – for nightlife). You would not like to spend more than what you spend here for a hotel in Phuket. Phuket is very expensive location for Asians in any-case. Though buffet breakfast was promised but due to less occupancy Tiger Inn opted not have buffet, instead a lady (waitress) was to serve what we were to ask for. Apparently she did not like the idea of serving and was very "rude" without the typical Thai smile. In the first instance she gave us a plate with 2-pieces of bread 1-butter and 1-croissant and told us that she would not serve us anything more. When I requested the reception for a full breakfast as it was not our fault that the hotel was not fully occupied, I was obliged. But after this instance I never saw courtesy and smile on the face of the lady who served us breakfast for next 3-days like this. Other staff in the hotel was very nice and courteous – fantastic actually. The room was 98% good with two minor problems, the flush jack had a problem and electric socket was having issues. The hotel staff was helpful enough to resolve these issues. English is a MAJOR issue in Phuket and this hotel was no exception.
