bad hostel, really not recommended
poor room, poor service
With superb location, this hostel just provided the worst staying experiences in my life... Bad service! Bad attitude to serve guest... feel scary and ill-feel to stay there... the hostel environment not good as well, not good family and children. the room was extremely small, and really troublesome when taking shower.

cheap, but still fell not worthed it
central location, superb access to shopping centre, easy access to public transport,
hotel is cheap, consider value for money, but do not expect for comfortableness. superb access to public transport, centrally located with many shopping center surrounding. The front line staff also not friendly, lack of willingness to help, maybe due to their strict SOP.

Value for money
vicinity, price, availability
Since I originally planned to only be at the hotel to sleep and rest after touring Hongkong, it was exactly what it was for. The fast internet access was a big plus and the fact that it was very near the MTR. This is exactly getting what you pay for in a budget hotel. Nothing fancy about it and it ultimately serves its purpose. I recommend this hotel for travelers that are not very particular with the place they spend the night on. The area seemed secure and safe with money changers at the entrance.

Good location and good security as well !
The best thing is very close to subway and only 1/2 stops away from the island line transfer stops Admiratly and Central .
I enjoy my stay at Times budget hotel. Actually it's like hostel instead of hotel . Do not be put off by the Chungking mansions as the strange ppl in the lobby are not dangerous, next to subway line.

Compact hotel with attached bathroom
Right in the center of the city
the room is small for your average caucasian, but for asian, it feels pretty comfortably. they have bathroom attached therefore you don't have to worry about sharing the toilet with other peoples. it is near the mrt station, therefore it won't be a hassle to travel all over hong kong. the downside is that the place is packed and therefore you will have to wait for sometime for the lift to come. but if you are willing to walk the stairs, it is actually faster than you think.
