One of the room was really small in comparison. The toilet was tiny.. the shower was literally like the wall in your face and no space to move. I’m a normal size girl didn’t enjoy the toilet space at all. I can’t imagine how it would have been for bigger size people. The other room was completely fine with proper sized toilet and room space so I guess it’s a hit or miss depending on the room you get allocated to. We wanted to request for some water as the supermarkets had closed. Went to the reception and he told us there is no more water???? How could a hotel run out of bottle water?

Great location!”
This hotel was perfect walking distance from all of the sights. The room was well laid out and clean. My only complaint would be the HEAT. I stayed 4 days in October and could not get the room down below 30 degrees Celsius. I reached out to the hotel staff numerous times. It was not fixed and I had to prop the door of the room open to cool it down (not ideal as a young single female). I left the hotel every day a sweaty mess. If that was fixed, I'd stay again. Otherwise, would have to choose elsewhere for a more enjoyable stay.

Little Gem in the City of Light”
I stayed at Timhotel Le Louvre for 4 nights in November 2009 and enjoyed my stay here very much. First of all, the location is great. This hotel is in the heart of Paris (fewer than 50 steps from the Louvre Museum). I could walk to almost every attraction in Paris from this hotel which saved my money. If you're lazy to walk, you can just take metro to everywhere you want. The nearest metro station is Royal Palais Musee du Louvre, right in front of an entrance of the Louvre. From there, you can get on the yellow line (main line). This hotel is also within walking distance from Chatelet Les Halles, a metro junction where you can get on several metro lines. The hotel room which I stayed (single bed) on the fourth floor is small but cozy. It's facing a small garden. It's equipped with an airconditioner and a heater. There is a coffee and tea corner in the room, too. A free bottle of water is also available for the first night. The continental breakfast which was inclusive for my stay was adequate and tasty. I had brunch every day and had enough energy to walk around Paris with no need to have lunch! It helped save my money as well. The service was excellent. Hotel staff were so helpful. They helped me to confirm shuttle bus services and print out boarding passes free of charge. One of the best things about this hotel is free wifi around the clock. I was much impressed after having to pay much for wifi during my recent visit to New York City. This service helped connect me with my friends in Thailand and Paris and allowed me to check in for my flights early enough that I got the front row on every flight which was great. In all, I highly recommend Timhotel Le Louvre and will use its service again and again whenever I return to the City of Light.

Great value, helpful staff”
My family and I stayed at Timhotel Le Louvre on our last few days in Paris, after a 3-week tour of Europe. By that time we were tired and just wanted to enjoy Paris, stress-free. The staff at reception are gems! I was not able to get his name, but the gentleman on the morning shift helped us with our 'skip the line' passes to the Louvre, and Olivia was kind enough to help us find a reasonably-priced taxi service to the airport. Thank you so much!

Scale of 1-100, I'd give 1,000”
It was a perfect way to experience Paris for the first time, especially the kids. Raoul was very kind to help us sort out our room and even quietly assisted to have our room ready early so that we can put our belongings in and freshen up before we explore Paris. With 2 very young kids, a teenager and 2 adults (all ladies) arriving at noon, you can appreciate how valuable Raoul's kind heart is. This Timhotel branch is very very near to the Louvre and a metro station that it is extremely convenient to go back and forth to it. The rooms are very comfortable, the facility is very clean, the people are friendly. The children were very happy that they didn't want to leave to go sightseeing, and the adults are very relieved to be in such a convenient place to stay. I'd highly recommend Timhotel a million times over, and recommend Raoul a pay rise ASAP. Keep up the good job!

Good and excellently located hotel”
We chose this hotel because of its excellent location in the centre of Paris, next to both Metro (Palais Royal-Louvre) and RER (Chatelet-Les Halles) stations. Within a short walking distance: Rue Rivoli (shopping area), Louvre, gardens of Tuilleries, Place de la Concorde and other places of interest. In spite of the very central location, there is no big traffic noise, maybe except for the rooms in the 1st floor.

Great location but small”
We had a great time in Paris. The Timhotel Le Louvre was a great location to be able to walk to a number of the "must see" locations in Paris. Also, the metro station was just a block away. Please note that the rooms are very small - but to be expected based on the location. The biggest issue was the shower. It was not big enought to lean over to wash your feet without hitting one of the walls. Some larger persons would not fit at all. However, water pressure was good and beds were comfortable. Day staff were very helpful. Had some communication issues with evening staff whose English was not good. Overall, would stay again.

Great Location!”
This Hotel is one of the best I've stayed at in Paris because of the location. Its literally a few steps from the Louvre Museum and the Train. there's a lot of Cafe around. The only downside of this hotel is the size of the shower, its really small and I'm serious. It's around 2 feet x 2 feet. You will hit your head if you bend down. If your are small or average size its fine, but if you are a big person you will have difficulty taking a shower. Its like taking a shower inside a coffin. Also during our stay there was a power outage and the hotel was in total darkness for 3-4 hours. There are no emergency lights inside the rooms or in the hallways. There was no generator or back up power. Luckily it was quite cold so sleeping with out air conditioner was not a problem.

it should be 6 points for Location”
walking distance to Louvre.... so nice lift was so narrow, only for 2 person + 1 big bag or 2 big bag + 1 person. room also narrow... it is Paris, i think. it is very easy to go to a minimarket near hotel. (there is a store that close midnight on walking distance from hotel) Breakfast is not free. ask the price before you start eating. you can sit at balcony... very nice

Comfortable and Quaint in the middle of Paris”
This hotel offered everything we were looking for, just steps away from the Louvres, restaurants, shopping and many, many other highlights of Paris. The room was very comfortable and was roomier than expected. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We missed the breakfast period, but the staff put together a nice little meal for us anyway. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I am in Paris. Great value for the money.

Good location with friendly staff”
The location is very good, close to Palais Royal Musee du Louvre which is an interchange. Access to key attractions like Lourve Museum, Champ Elysees, Arc de Triomphe and Notre Dame Cathedral were easy like a breeze. Galleries Lafayette could be reached under 15 mins because of the good train network and with the station's close proximity. I didn't have any problem travelling from Lyon because the Paris Gare de Lyon station is on the same line with only 6 stops away from the hotel. For a hotel with prime location and basic needs (there is no fridge in the room and the water temperature is erratic during showers), this hotel will be my recommendation.

Very good location, traffic convenient”
There are bread shops, restaurants and supermarket around hotel, especially it's near Louvre which is fantastic. We walked 8 minutes from RER Chatelet Les Halles to hotel better than transfer the metro.

comfortable and convenient”
It was really clean and si close to le Louvres and le Pont Neuf. The shower cabin was so small; it was even more difficult to sneak out than to get in! I stayed there again the following week with a friend and they first gave us a double bed despite their having confirmed, upon my 1st checking out, that we would have 2 beds the problem was quickly taken care of.

We enjoyed our stay at the Timhotel Le Louvre. The room on the 6th floor was small (especially the shower), but it was cute and we spent most of our time out and about.

Good choice for a balance of price and location ”
Located near Louvre Musuem and Louvre-Rivoli metro station. For the price and location, the hotel is worth it. Bed is comfortable. The deco is not bad. Bathroom is small though. The shower is a small chamber, making it feel constrained. Toiletries are provided, out of my expectation.

Prime Location”
My stay at the hotel was great. The location was right smack at the center of Paris. You can walk towards the Louvre, along the seing river, champs de elysees and cross the river to the eiffel tower. Various cafes and restaurants are very near as well as various shops (from souvenirs to zara, mango h&m, forever 21 to luxury brands such as gucci, chanel, ysl, balenciaga, valentino, goyard etc.). The staff were very helpful and also recommend good restos to try or places to visit. It is also near the metro if you want to take the train to get around the city.

Great location, perfect for short trip”
It was a pleasure staying with Timhotel. The receptionist is very helpful and can speak very fluent English. The hotel is about 5 mins walk to the metro and Louvre Museum. It is best to stay here if you wish to visit Louvre as it can take you whole day to line up for entrance ticket. Make sure you line up first thing in the morning. Other than that, I'd say there is nothing much bout the hotel than location, location, location.
