Amazing quiet stay”
I would give 10 stars if possible... This resort is amazing. Very small but with a good attention for details. I stayed in beach villa 1 and it was wonderful to have your own piece of private beach at your footsteps. I have to say that the staff was doing an amazing job - sometimes I had the feeling that there is more staff than actual tourists in the 16 villas they have. Very good wifi (the tv with netflix was a nice touch), the option to have in room massage was also nice and the food was amazing from breakfast to dinner. This is probably one of the best beached in Koh Kood and will definitely come back.

Amazing resort, but not entirely worth it”
Beautiful resort, on a dreamlike beach. But alas not worth the price (more than 220$ per night). Room on the beach is frankly great, but way too basic. On the beautiful porch in front if the sea, there is literally nothing. A small table and a couple of chairs wouldn’t hurt. We were even charged for fins, for literally the worst snorkeling experience ever. Close to the restaurant, a swampy river estuary leaves a strong sewer smell which will accompany your stay. And, of course, loads of mosquitos. This may not be the resort’s fault, but they definitely need to do something about it. Food is quite nice, but service at the restaurant was at times hopeless. Of the 5 waiters working there, none of them spoke a word of English, making everything quite complicated. This of course lead to mistakes. If you ever had a 1 year old, you would know that an extra 15/20 min wait due to a wrong order can become a bit of a tragedy :)

Stay of a lifetime”
My wife and I spent two weeks in Thailand for our honeymoon, traveling from Bangkok to Koh Kood then Koh Chang. Tinkerbell was the best place we stayed the entire trip. I have been lucky enough to travel all over the world and I can say, without a doubt, that Tinkerbell was one of the best places I have ever been. Next to White Haven Beach in Australia this is the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. The staff was phenomenal. From Ban, who ran the whole operation. Alex, the bartender. And even Née, who I believe headed up housekeeping, our experience was amazing. Every need was met immediately and we felt welcomed and pampered the entire time. After hearing we were on our honeymoon Alex said he could set up a table on the beach for my wife and I to have a private dinner. He even set up a small stereo to set the mood while we ate and personally, with Ban's help, took care of our meal. All of this without any additional charge or expectation except that they wanted us to have a great stay. I was able to arrange a kayak, scooters and even in room massages without any warning and it was done with a smile. On a trip with too many highlights to count our whole experience at Tinkerbell out shone ever other aspect of the trip. Thanks Ban, Alex and all the staff at this amazing romantic retreat!

Best resort only be careful what you eat.”
Tinkerbell has always been my preference of resort when staying at Koh Kood. The staff are amazing, the resort design is great, the beach is spectacular. However, on this trip, I suffered from food poisoning from under cooked chicken wings. The staff went out of their way to ensure I was OK with medicines and helped with room cleaning after a night of vomiting. But with this one-off, I'd still stay here again. Upon arrival to the pool side room, I noticed the pool was slightly dirty and upon request they had immediately sent a staff member who was more than happy to spend time cleaning it thoroughly. We were full-board too so they arranged for us to visit one of the waterfalls on Koh Kood. Their staff member was attentive over the safety of guests whilst visiting the waterfall ensuring we all had a fun time swimming around the area. We had free use of their snorkel equipment and kayak to explore the beach waters at our leisure. When it came to say good bye, the staff stood at the pier waving to us all, just like the booking.com advert. They certainly gave you the feeling like you want to jump back into the water to run back hugging the staff. I'd recommend three nights minimum at this place for the most enjoyable stay.

Great experience on fantastic location!”
We had a great stay at the Tinkerbell Privacy In. It was part of our honeymoon and it was just perfect! Great location, great staff, beautiful pool villa with lots of privacy. Tinkerbell is located on the most beautifull beach on Koh Kood island: white sand, blue seas, palm trees, the lots!

Nice for a short stay”
I've stayed in 5 resorts in koh kood. This was the best but I wouldn't return to any of them or the island probably. The pros of tinker bell are the beach, probably the nicest on the island. The seaview rooms have a great view and they are nice. Wifi in rooms. Staff are nice. Free lunch was good. Nice bed. Wifi. Cons maybe 1 English channel on tv. Pool is too small. Overpriced room ( and that's low season prices) breakfast not great. Sandflies as everywhere nasty. While the place was pretty deserted I didn't like people from other resorts camping out in front of our seaview all day. Plenty of beach for that but I guess hard to blame resort for that. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Wonderful Paradise!”
tinkerbell was a fabulous resort. the staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating and the place itself felt very secluded - great for a couples holiday and relaxing. our bungalow was right on the beach and you could hear the waves on the sand from our room. there was a nice pool next door to our bungalow with comfortable sofas all around and a restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating and an upper level where it was nice to watch the sunset. the food from the restaurant was nice and i recommend the fruit smoothies! although they are a little pricey in comparison to other places in thailand. our bungalow was really nice with finishing touches such as the towels folded to be shaped like elephants and flip flops and a beach bag that you could borrow during your stay. there was aircon and a fan and a flat screen tv. the bed was rather a bit too firm though (as seems to be the norm in thailand!) the bathroom was nice and big and the whole place was very clean. i thoroughly enjoyed my stay there - it was a tropical paradise!

A Lovely Resort. Highly recommended.”
An exclusive villa resort set on a beautiful beach. The beach villas are spacious and clean, with direct access to the beach, perfect for a relaxing holiday! The staff were very all friendly and the service was excellent. The resort speedboat transfer service is also excellent value, maximizing the time spent at the resort. We enjoyed the complimentary snorkeling trip, and Kayaking to the waterfall was fun. The only complaint we have is that the food & drinks at the resort restaurant were not very good, and not up to the high standard the resort has set in all other areas. If the quality of F&B could be improved, then i would give a full 5 stars! But to conclude, we would highly recommend a stay at Tinkerbell.

Geweldige locatie”
The location is perfect! And staff is very helpfull. There is no internet in the rooms although mentioned on the agoda website. Internet at the reception is poor. (Good if you really need a rest) Currently they are building a resort next to Tinkerbell so you will sometimes hear construction work. We think the hotel is overpriced if you look at the available menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Nevertheless we had a great time on this ideallic location

Nice resort with good privacy, nice food”
The hotel location on what is now one of my favourite beaches is just perfect. As the name implies, the resort gives good privacy especially if you choose the pool villa. The standard of cooking was quite good. We particularly liked the local Thai dishes. An afternoon 'tea' is provided daily which was sufficient to make up for lunch as usually we had a heavy breakfast. Buffet breakfast was fine. Staff service was pretty good overall. This was our honeymoon trip and they setup a romantic candlelit table under the stars by the pool/beach for us on our final night. The resort had only 15 villas so there are not too many guests and it feels a lot more homely and exclusive than most bigger resorts. The room amenities are decent, though it could do with some upgrades. The villa has a rustic, nature feel to it. I think they used Sealy beds and pillows. Though it may initially appear not as new or luxurious as some higher end resorts, we grew to like the place. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Lovely little resort but not worth the money”
Having stayed in almost every island on thailand and stayed in a multitude of hotels and repeats, we splashed out at Tinkerbell as this seemed to be one of the nicest hotels on Koh Kood. Due to the very price of £212/night we were expecting a wow factor. The beach was lovely (shares the same beach as many other hotels) and service good standard, however the rooms were way under par. Basic looking which for the nightly price makes you wonder why you stayed there.. Quiet island with very little action, lovely sunsets. Food was ok but again not worth the money for the resort. You will find much more decent rooms in the other islands for half the price. If you don't mind paying the money if is an idyllic spot that offers free use of kayaks, good snorkelling spots.

Beautiful resort”
Beautifully located resort. Beach front villas are amazing and well maintained. The resort provides scooters for rental and so free kayaks. The staff is very nice, especially the Cambodian guy at the reception- thank you very much for your hospitality! There is an amazing home stay restuarant nearby Taiyai that serves the best pad thai ever. The only improvement I see is breakfast, which is not up to a standard for a resort compared with others I stayed in Thailand. The breakfast is quite poor in choice and taste considering the higher end price tag for the stay. I ended up taking it outside the resort. Once this is fixed, the resort is truly a 5 star!

maximum 3,5 star hotel, so far too expensive”
We stayed at this resort for 5 nights and had high expectations as Tinkerbell is in the top 3 of most expensive resorts of Koh Kood. Unfortunately our expectations were far too high. The resort isn't bad don't get me wrong but the quality and comfort doesn't fot the price by far! First of all the villa's are of course on a beautiful beach, so you can enjoy nice sunsets from your villa and have a sort of private beach (which actually isn't because everyone can use the beach). But concerning the villas: expect simple interior, expect the worst lighting I ever experienced (impossible to read a book without using the huge ceiling light), expect a mouldy smell in the 'hallway' and bathroom, expect to live out your suitcase (believe me you don't want to use the wardrobe-cabinet - missed 1 door and had 5 hangers). We had sandflies in the bathroom which we only discoverd after a few days (so first days we didn't understand where we got the bites from). And the roof of the bathroom and hallway can let everything in because of the bad constcrution; don't be afraid of bugs or animals walking there. The pool is nice, not big but it has some nice loung-sets surrounding the pool and it's the place where you can sit private. The beach is a public beach! So everyday you will have 1 or 2 boats dropping people of who are doing an island-hopping day or something. But the beach is nice and that's the only reason (together with the pool) I would like to recommend. The food at the resort is ok, not bad but nothing to applaus about. The breakfast was on some mornings in buffet-style and some mornings you could just order a la carte. The 1st day the breakfast was buffetsyle I was truely shocked that the just but bread for the guests to cut yourself but didn't put a glove or napkin around the breads! So ever guest was touching the bread while cutting it, the same bread I had to eat!! I tried to explain that to the chef but he didn't understand what I was trying to point out.

Right on the beach, calm but overpriced.”
We had a very nice time in Tinkerbell, but the nightly rate does not match the service. The staff is nice but speak very little english and is not so efficient. For example, Table around pool area not cleaned regularly and this does not seem to bother the staff to serve your drinks on it... This is not a big deal but when you pay this amount of money per night you would expect higher service standards. Especially when the staff is far from busy and would have the time to pay attention to detail. The hotel is set on a beautiful beach but I found the bar and lobby area "open to all" and this make you loose the sense of exclusivity you feel you could have.

good location”
We stayed here for 3 nights as a sort of vacation. We went in Nov which is very much their low season and there is only one boat to the island which is a bit of a gamble - this really paid off for us. The weather was fabulous and we virtually had the resort to ourselves. The staff are welcoming and friendly. We were happy to just relax and read our books but if you were looking for a lot of actvities then coming here in the low season probably isn't ideal. In the high season there would be diving, kayaking etc. The villa's are spacious and built to a high standard. They are meticulously clean and the little details make all the difference. They have been furnished really well too. Even if full i can imagine this resort would still be really quiet and relaxing. if you have a pool villa check that the pool filter timer is working or that you know how to switch it off overnight as it is a bit noisy. The restaurant has delicious food available all day with a broad selection. The beach is lovely and clean. For us it was perfect.
