Clean and spacious. Strong shower and bidet. Near only restaurants still running as many closed shop. Good area for snorkeling. If you want to swim...just have walk about 500 meters to a rock free beach

Perhaps the best place to stay on the island, well maintained and top notch cleanliness meant we had a pleasant and memorable stay. The only downside would be the lack of a restaurant, however there are options next door.

Initially there we’re some issue contacting the resort as my wife and myself need to check out some details such as checking in early. However, our negative perception quickly turned into a possible one once we reached there. Staff are friendly and helpful, hotel is clean, location is central as well. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this hotel to others heading to this area of Tioman.

The room is really huge.. very comfortable. Nearby Jetty, less than 10 min walking distance. But the facilities need to improve.. they don’t have restaurants. Thanks to Yan, the staff are really helpful and friendly. For sure will coming back again.

The room is so grand that it look like a 5 star hotel in the city. So comfortable that sometimes i wouldnt wanna leave the room. Not a good location for swimming cause of the rocks on the coastline. Anyway, can rent a guide car then they'll bring u to a good swimming location.

This is actually good as it means that we have a house reef which is fantastic for snorkelling. However we do recommend that guests either bring their own swim booties or rent snorkelling equipment with booties from us so it's easier to walk into the water. Best wishes, Martin Ritter Co-Owner

The only reason you should stay here is for diving course”
Very outskirts area, need 20 minutes bike to get to town for decent food. But getting diving course with them is recommended. Prepare your bug or insect repellent. I had few mosquitoes bites which won’t recover for weeks and leaving scars.

Dear Liong, Thank you for your review. Air Batang is indeed fairly outskirt and therefore also picturesque and quite. It's indeed not for the traveller who prefers to go shopping or spend time amidst large crowds as it is somewhat excluded what many tourists prefer. There are over 10 restaurants in Air Batang itself, some of them just next door while others in a walking distance of 3-15minutes. In our opinion they serve very nice local and western dishes to reasonable prices. You indeed have the option of renting a bicycle and go to Tekek which is the main village of Tioman and not only has some restaurants but also a duty free shop. We do recommend some bug spray indeed but that's less for the mosquitoes of which there are not many unless it just rained, but instead for sand flies which are apparent on all South East Asian islands. Typically a place focussing on divers. Rooms are clean, but no tv, sometimes no AC, sometimes no wifi. The location is not a bounty island place, as there is no beach, only rocks and stones. Location is also too far away from the places on the island. Wonderful is the Cafe AF near the resort. Very friendly people!! They prepare wonderful food!!! Can book the hotel including breakfast, but can als pay directly at the Cafe AF for a very good price.

Dear Jurriaan, Thanks a lot for your visit and we apologize if you had any issues in your rooms. Due to the pandemic it was not easy to get contractors to the island, however in the meantime all issues have been resolved. Astro has installed new TV channels, WiFi has been upgraded too.
Fantastic Hotel and Dive Shop”
Stayed here only two nights to take a short trip diving. Wished I stayed longer. First of all, the staff learns your name and pretty much greets you by name throughout the duration of my stay. That's a nice touch that made me feel very welcomed. Second of all, this place is extremely clean, has a large bathroom with a rain shower. The rooms has a AC, a sizable flatscreen TV with a DVD player, and a wide selection of DVDs for use in the front office. The hotel is linked with B&J Dive Shop and they are currently expanding their dive shop/reception area. If you are going to Tioman Island, you cannot go wrong booking your stay here and using B&J for your diving needs.

Cosy and felt like home ”
I had a great time with tioman dive resort . I find that this is the place for all divers because usually after diving we want to have good rest and this is the place that provide u with quality bed , comfortable and super clean . The manager Ms Jubri is such a great person , she help solve almost all request that I requested. Right from asking for candles (cos I was afraid that the generator don't work at night) to mosquitoes repellent . She will try her very best and provide solution . I enjoy my stay and my dive . The shallow dive was fantastic and I get to see few big turtle , 1.5m reef shark , big cuttlefish , big pufferfish , and many other fishes . I can't remember the dive master name his name start with "M "just like to thanks him for begin there to me and my family during our dives.

Advantage: Room was very clean. Hot water for 24 hrs. Tv with usb port. Safe locker with digital key. Good air-con. Bath room with good condition taps and showers. Chairs for sit out and clothes stand for wet clothes outside. Very near to Tioman dive center Near to ABC jetty. Friendly staffs and can speak English. Best for family stay. Early check in without addition cost. Disadvantage: No reception its like home stay. Very far from city side and air port. No duty free shop and Big restaurant near by. No nightlife. No roads only foot platform for walk and two wheeler. Not big resort- less than 10 rooms.
