Best at 2.5 Stars”
The only good thing about this hotel is location, it is not too far from the lake. The rest is pretty much under compared with average hotels nearby. 1. Be aware the hotel will charge you 3% extra for using Credit Card to pay for the room 2. The room is old, without proper maintainance 3. Repairman can come to your room to fix something while you're staying 4. You will hear many annoying noises throughout the stay all day long, especially in drilling 5. Service mind of staff needs to be trained and improved. I've been visiting in Hanoi for more than 5 years with many good and average hotels, this one is by far the worst I have stayed.

Location, location, location! Excellent value and”
Fabulous location. Newly built in the heart of the old quarter. One of the tallest buildings. Nice rooftop and pool on level below. Pool has excellent view of city. Greg place to grab a beer and cool off after running around Hanoi. Breakfast buffet is decent. Warm croissants in toaster. Execellent coffee and good quality butter. Nice water and juice selection. Ken at front desk was very helpful at welcoming us. Jenny at buffet was able to provide forecast and suggestions. Our rooms had no windows. They were nice and clean. Had some diffused light. I loved the quiet room. Our sons in the other room would have preferred a window. I preferred a good night night sleep. Highly recommend!

Best choice to stay if you have family and young c”
This is my 2nd times to visit HaNoi and back to Tirana hotel again. They have kept continued to upgrade their s/w and facility in high level. A lot of famous attractions just go on foot and can back to hotel any time. Baby always need to take a snap in the afternoon and we have consider it in our schedule. No problem at all. This time we enjoyed our stay in here and felt very satisfied with the warm welcome staffs.

Ticked all the boxes”
We had a great 2 night stay. It meet our needs of location, pool, roof top bar, good food, decent sized room and cost. We popped into a few hotels we looked at found Tirant was definitely the best choice. The only thing that didn't WOW us was the breakfast options especially for those gluten free. However I would still suggest this hotel to others.

Staff service that surprise me! ”
I used to stay in a well known international brand hotel in Hanoi and end up dis-satisfactory. Chose Tirant hotel because of its location and good comment from Agoda. It surprise me that it gave a much better service than a 5 star hotel. Definitely will come back when visit Hanoi in future. Special mention to front desk staff Ms Julie for her sensible and helpful to the customer. Good job and well done!

Great location and staff. Mixed feelings overall”
While we had a pleasant stay at The Tirant overall we had mixed feelings. We had intended on staying two nights. Upon arriving our room was unavailable due to construction. They apologized profusely and put us up in the hotel across the street. The following night we were upgraded to the spacious executive suite. Roomy, dark and dated. Inconvenient yes, but the staff more than made up for it. Friendly and accommodating especially when we shipped off some items home. Location was ideal for visiting the old quarter. It is a very short walk to the lake. The street is quite noisy on weekend nights due to the proximity of beer corner. The included breakfast was decent. Spa in the building was good. The pool and surrounding deck is small. Overall The Tirant is a good place to lay your head. The staff is excellent but they are missing the mark on some of the amenities.
