Lovely Hotel at Cheap Price Best for Bali Holidays”
I am a Chinese exchange student studying in Singapore, and have just experienced a wonderful holiday in Bali during my recess week, along with three friends of mine. We really enjoyed the six-day trip in Bali, which cannot be a more impressive thing or precious memory. The hotel where we stayed for five nights, Tirta Ening Agung, is one of the biggest surprises in our journey. At the beginning, as thrifty students, we were only looking for a not too bad place for accommodation in Bali at an affordable price, but when we arrived at the hotel, we found that its infrastructures and services are actually far beyond our previous expectation. Personally, I believe that there cannot be a better hotel than Tirta Ening Agung at the same price in Bali. So if you are not going on a luxurious holiday but want to take a comfortable and worthy trip to Bali, Tirta Ening Agung can be your best choice.

Lovely stay”
We had a wonderful stay at Tirta Ening Agung. Chose this hotel because it is walking distance to Ena Dive and convenient for our daily diving trips. The hotel has a nice garden with lovely trees blooming with flowers! Swimming pool is well conditioned and being kept clean at all times throughout the day. Fantastic swan towel display with floral arrangements every day and it lit us up! Massages are available at an affordable costs and we requested for the same masseuses (Ms. Parwati & her friend but we did not get her friend's name) 3 days consecutively! Hotel staff are polite and friendly and they never fail to put on a smile whenever they see us. However, we suggest room towels to be changed as there are stains on them. Location may be a little off as we need to cross 2 main roads to get to the opposite where food is available. The hotel should try to cater some simple meals for an easy lunch or dinner if we choose to laze at the hotel premise. ALL IN ALL, THUMBS UP FOR TIRTA ENING AGUNG! Will definitely choose to stay there again if we are in Bali in future.

Love the pool and Wayan!”
The PROS: The grounds at this little hotel are immaculate, and Wayan at the receptionist desk could not have been kinder or more helpful. He loaned me an adapter and a phone charger and made numerous calls on my behalf helping me arrange other details of my travel. He, the friendly women who work in housekeeping, and the pool are the highlights of Tirta Ening Agung. My room was fine, not fabulous, but sufficient and clean--though the plaster on the walls is chipped and peeling. As for the CONS, you really do have to cross a super busy road to get to anywhere interesting in Sanur, and frankly, I was very unimpressed with Sanur beaches--dirty and visually unappealing with lots of stray dogs. (This, I recognize, has nothing to do with the hotel.) In regards to the hotel, I requested transportation from the airport to the hotel when I booked my stay (through Agoda), but I never heard anything. A couple of days before my trip, I contacted the hotel directly who responded promptly telling me the fee was 200,000 RPH despite the fact that the advertised price on Agoda and Tirta Ening Agung's website said 150,000. When I asked about this difference, I received no reply, but I had been warned NOT to arrive at the airport without transportation lined up or I would surely be suckered. Thus, as my departure got closer and I had received no reply, I wrote again agreeing to pay 200,000. The hotel responded promptly and I was indeed picked up as requested, but my driver (who was NOT employed by the hotel) was quite the hustler. He left me with a negative impression, and because I met him through the hotel, it colored my view a little of the place too. Opportunities for improving Tirta Ening Agung include new towels (the ones there are dingy), a water cooler where folks can fill up their water bottles (the hotel currently provides 2 small plastic bottles each day), and a place to recycle plastic bottles.

Nice and quite hotel with very friendly staff”
The Tirta Ening Agung was our first hotel in Bali. We arrived late at night and were greeted by the extremely friendly staff. The staff were really helpful and eager to tell us about Bali and things to do in the area. The hotel is tucked away and so it is very quiet. It is a bit of a walk to the beach but there are a lot of markets and shops along the way so its a nice walk but probably a good 20 minute walk to the beach. The garden is beautiful and the pool is clean. The rooms are also clean, the air con works great, the outdoor bathroom was great, the lighting is a bit dark but this wasn't a problem for us, the room had a nice little table setting right outside our room where we sat and used the internet. The breakfast was great, lots of choices and nice eating area. The staff really were a stand out. They made the stay really enjoyable as they were always so happy and helpful.

A charming residence”
Upon a business trip to Bali, I had to stay for 20 days there; without any hesitations, I choosed to live at Tirta Ening Agung: a lovely place to rest as well as to run your business on your laptop: a perfect location, hidden in a small property; 12 rooms in the six traditional architecture's(new)villas. Surrounded by the abundant and well maintained vegetation of the garden, the bedrooms terraces are as convenient as the bedrooms are. The swimming pool is inviting you as well.The very friendly staff and management team are allways ready to assist you whatever the topic: visa extension, trip bookings, motor bike rental,....and usefull infos. The hotel amenities and equipments are at the right level, including a top quality bed and services such as free in-room free wifi copies,prints, scans,.... 10 minuts only away from the beach.Great value for money!

Comfortable small hotel and friendly staff”
if you are planning to spend several days in sanur, this hotel will be the best. comfortable bungalows, and, which is more important, all the equipment functions. in many other bali small hotels, bed sheets will be changed only once (on your arrival) and hot water will appear in accordance with lunar cycles. the manager alex will help you to arrange all the trips that you wish saving your money. we had visited komodo and some other places, dwelling in tirta ening agung as our headquarters

Beautiful hotel - Oasis in Sanur”
we felt home straight away when we arrived at tirta ening agung. the stuff welcomed us warmly and was helpful in every possible way. very beautiful and very well kept garden with a nice swimming pool. the rooms are clean and confortable with quite a wide range from "standard" to "luxury". we really liked that the hotel is rather small so that you don't get annoyed by other people. no matter what question or problem you have(renting a motorbike, buying things, booking tours, etc.) the stuff and the manager will do their best to help you and always succeded in finding the cheapest and most convenient deals for us. we were so sad to leave and will definetly be back soon! it was one of the best holidays we ever had!

Tirta Ening Agung, although not located very close to the beach and city centre (15-20 min walk), still offers you the best of Bali - lush garden with beautiful flowers, birds and a swimming pool (open also in the evening), tranquility and super friendly staff. I left this place blisfull & relaxed and equipped with recommendations about next destinations and home-baked cookies from the friendly reception lady. Perfect location for couples and solo travelers who want to relax in beautiful environment. Value for money! Will gladly visit again.

Very pleasant all round”
My wife & I had a great weeks holiday at the Tirta Ening Agung. Its only a few minutes walk to the beach, bars, restaurants & shops. The surrounding area was pleasant to walk & cycle around. Very very quiet so we slept like babes. Also very handy to a dive shop (50 mtrs away) which we also recommend. One thing to keep in mind............Not all rooms have a fridge, For us a fridge is an absolute necessity, we up-graded & fixed this problem & had cold beer & ice for our G&T. We could have used the fridge in reception but preferred our own. We will stay here again...................

Exceptional”
Absolutely loved our stay here- what a great value for the price that we paid. Nice, clean rooms with AC, and a really neat outdoor toilet and shower. Very close to lots of restaurants. The staff was so helpful- they helped us rent a moped, called a taxi for us, and even after we checked out they let us use the pool until our boat ride. We would definitely stay here again- thank you to the staff at Tirta Ening Agung for making our stay so enjoyable!

Great Value”
We spent 20 days in this silent and unique resort. Although it is located close to a heavy traffic bypass, it is a silent and secure place. We felt very comfortable, even during strong thunderstorms that hit Bali in January we had a relaxing time watching the heavy rain watering the well maintained garden. We appreciated the service of most caretaking staffmember Ketut who organized a scooter to give us the mobility we needed. Tirta Ening Agung is a place we keep in mind with only positive memories.

Great hotel, highly recommended”
I picked this hotel based on price and user reviews; let me say that I was not disappointed. This was my first trip to Bali and staying in Sanur (the eastern side) was a good choice. Sanur is quiet and slow-paced compared to Seminyak or Kuta. It caters more to an older crowd. The hotel was a 15 minute walk from the beach, easy to find. The rooms are beautiful and romantic, perfect for a couple. The best part was the service; everyone there is eager to please and will help you with anything. I wanted to book a one-day driving tour and the concierge was willing to call the number and book it for me. He made multiple phone calls for me and did all of the leg work. The rooms were also impeccably clean every evening when we returned. Lastly, the free breakfast included was much better than expected. They serve both Indonesian breakfast or an American breakfast and it is quite delicious! We arrived around midnight on our first night and the staff cooked a big plate of fried rice for us for a mere 35000 rupiahs (US $3.50). Great hotel! Just make sure Sanur is where you want to stay.

Beautiful, small, quiet hotel in a great location”
I was not the only guest who extended their stay at Tirta Ening Hotel! The bungalows are spacious and clean with lovely outside showers and the garden and pool area are well maintained, full of beautiful coloured flowers. The European manager and his girlfriend were always on hand to offer friendly advice and make your stay comfortable. The beach and hustle and bustle of Sanur are a mere 5 minutes cycle ride away, although you can also hire motorbikes from the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable, Clean, Great Value”
Another good stay at Tirta Ening - I've been there 4 times now, Great value for a clean, comfortable and nice little hotel in Sanur. Basic but comfortable and clean room, with a nice outdoor bathroom (not in all rooms, but in the one I had this time). Staff are always very friendly and helpful. It would be nice the rooms had a safe, but other than that, I think it's all pretty good. Very likely to come back again.

We loved our stay at Tirta Agung Ening. The hotel is ideal for relaxing. The staff is attentive and available. The only disadvantage is the boulevard we need to walk through to get to the beach (heavy traffic).
