unfriendly staff for non Japanese speakers”
the hotel didnt have parking space so I temporarily parked the car at their space, which was agreed by their staff. Then came a lady probably manager or else, said “English no” then spoke in a rude tone a lots of japanese I didnt understand at all.

Those who can't speak may use a translation app on their mobile phone to speak, but I apologize again that I didn't respond to that. The hotel located within 10 mins walk from the JR station. The staff are very helpful and hotel room facilties are new and clean. A comfortable hotel and worth to re-visit next time when i travel to atami.

Dont think about it if you have luggages with no transportation! you need to think about it if you have luggages with car, because the hotel DOES NOT provide car park, you need to park your car next to station (which is around 15 minutes walk up hill back to hotel and down hill to pick up the car) where fees apply!!! Other than that, the hotel itself is pretty good, quite big, clean and the bed was very comfy. You can see the ocean and the city view of Atami!!! Recommend it ONLY if you have your own transportation without worrying parking!!!

Lovely hotel with friendly staff, only one hiccup”
We arrived, having booked a standard ("small") double and were offered an upgrade (not free) to a larger double. We accepted, and were glad of that, as the upgrade room offered a much bigger space. The staff here were very friendly and helpful. We used the indoor onsen a couple of times. The only small disappointment came when we bought tickets to the MOA on our last day. (Discounted entry provided by the hotel.) Unfortunately, this was the day of the week that the museum was closed! And we had not read about the museum opening hours! It meant we wasted money on a taxi trip to the bus station then wasted time waiting for a museum bus that never came. (We only found out because a Japanese-reading person alerted us to the sign on the bus stop- no service Thursday!) Of course, the hotel refunded our ticket price, but it is surprising that they did not know the MOA was closed Thursdays. Otherwise, I recommend this hotel unreservedly.

Just behind Atomi railway station but on the Momoyama(Peach hill), guests should take a taxi to go there for the first date cause they have baggage! They have a shuttle bus to take guests to the station on check out dates. Hot Spring on the roof is recommended.

If you have a lot of luggage and it is difficult to go up the hill, we recommend a taxi. Transfers to the station depart in the morning from 9 o'clock by reservation every 20 minutes. The room is huge. The staff were nice to offer us a ride to the train station when there was a giant rain storm that flooded the roads down the hill. Yes, the hotel is up a hill and may be a problem, but it was fine for us. May be hard to find at night. Only one other room was in use when we were there and the onsen was unused. You could see some bugs in the onsen, but it did not bother me.

Clean, good location, friendly staff. A bit over priced in my opinion. Negative: put us on 7th floor and no elevator and tried to charge 3000 yen to put us on 2nd floor. They did it very slyly but we refused.

The superior rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors are larger than the compact rooms, and there are usually more differences. Since there was a vacant room on the day, we gave a special guide for upgrading at 3000 yen. This is a hotel service, so it may or may not be accepted. Tried to contact hotel to reserve shuttle bus pick-up from train station through Agoda app but no reply. Hotel unable to pick us up at train station even though we are there at the stated pick-up time (16:55). No lifts in the hotel so will be challenging for those travelling with elderly or with heavy luggage.

Hotel is quite lovely, especially the rooftop onsen and deck. Be prepared for a lot of stairs (no elevator) though and a steep walk to and from the station.

Staff had limited English ability but were extremely helpful, let us park our rented car in their garage for free. Only cons is toilet and shower are shared and not in room.

Good location but no lift”
Good location, high up the hill, great will. Just this place do not come with a lift and if they allocate you on the Annex Building, it's tiring to walk up there with a big luggage.

Great staff but much to make up for in facilities”
We wanted an onsen experience but were disappointed. Location of the hotel is very awkward, with steep slopes from the rail station. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO WALK IT IF YOU HAVE LUGGAGE OR KIDS!! Staff were great! We were greeted by a very nice Japanese lady who could speak flawless Chinese. She was very kind and is the highlight of the stay. Other than that, the onsen was really not worth it and there were no views to speak of.

We are sorry for making you troublesome for the way to hotel. There is a free shuttle bus so we should have offered to you. In regard to hot-spring there are 2 bath, one is public bath another is open-air public bath which you can see the Atami view with sea. If you have any chances to visit Atami again, we would like you to enjoy the open-air bath. Thank you very much for your stay!

Okay, here's what you need to know...”
Okay, everyone needs to calm down about the stairs. Yes, it's a short, steep walk uphill from the station. Yes, there isn't an elevator. It isn[t anything a reasonably healthy person without a heavy suitcase couldn't manage though. And this hotel is otherwise great. Okay, so the female staff member has a terrible attitude, but the guy was really friendly and helpful. Everything's new and clean, and they have a choice of yukata, massage chairs, vending machines, and the private rooftop bath! Yep, it's the one in the photo, and it's as awesome as that sounds (though you have to pay for it). Overall, good value!

Thank you for staying with us. Yes, our hotel only has stairs. Staying with big luggage is difficult. This time there was a cancellation for a large room, so I was specially upgraded. If the reservation was as it was, I had to move up the stairs to the 6th or 7th floor. Please make a reservation after confirming whether there is a lot of movement of stairs when you make a reservation. Comfortable rooftop balcony!”
The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable, so I slept well! It was nice to have a view of the sea from the window. Breakfast was delicious, and above all, I was very satisfied with spending time on the rooftop balcony under the blue sky. It was also great to be able to enjoy the hot springs almost privately. It would have been even better if the check-out time was at least 11 o'clock. I want to spend more time relaxing at the hotel next time. I will visit again!
