Great location for subway and awesome service”
The staff was very friendly and spoke English. The maids were also very nice. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would stay there again. My only problem were the people above me were like a herd of elephants, but that's not the hotels fault. The hotel itself was very clean. It was also pretty nice that there was a restaurant (CoCo's) attached to the hotel that is open to 2AM every night. And the hotel is extremely close to the subway, for convenience. I enjoyed my time at Tokyo Inn for the two weeks I was in Japan. However, the pillows were a little too hard for my taste. Bringing a softer pillow, if you prefer one, wouldn't hurt. This didn't hurt the quality of my stay at all, however.

Very small rooms but decent for the money”
Perfectly acceptable hotel for the price. Rooms were small but all hotel rooms for this kind of money in Tokyo are! Staff were very helpful indeed when I forgot something in the taxi I took from Shinagawa station. The location is good, right next to Magome metro station linking up all of Tokyo. The Coco restaurant on site is also convenient for cheap and fast food.

Nice, clean hotel in a quieter area in the suburbs”
It was a pleasant two day stay. There were no hidden charges and the hotel was pretty decent for the price I paid. It isn't in a very 'happening' area though, so if you're travelling from Central Tokyo back later at night, you might want to keep an eye out for the last train! It is only about 5 minutes from Gotanda which is quiet a busy place that doesn't really sleep and about 20 minutes from Shinjuku which is super convenient. Cons! The only con was the late check in time. I had to wait till 3pm to check in but they do have a free service to keep your luggage in the hotel while you are out not wasting your time waiting!

good deal city hotel”
Though it was bit far from Tokyo and other big stations on the Tokyo cicular line, it was still convinient because you can reach the hotel by train and the evelator to station was literally just next to the hotel entrance. It saved me a lot of trouble in pulling my luggage on the street. The single-person room was small, which is typical in Japanese small hotel, but neat and tidy. My plan didn't include breakfast so I can't comment on the food. But the convinient store was just across the street and it was great for late night snack or breakfast. For such price, I think it was a good choice if you don't mind travelling a couple more stations and I'm thinking of staying there again if I go to Tokyo next time.

Great hotel. A bit out of the way.”
Stayed four nights. Enjoyed the comfort and hospitality of a very clean hotel with rooms of average size for budget hotels in Tokyo. Close to subway and within walking distance of JR line in a residential area. Eating out choices, other than the hotel restaurant, were 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel. We would stay here again and recommend.

Convenient, clean, cozy”
Grab a Tokyo metro map at JR station. If arriving at Shinagawa station, you will need to take a cab (~1600¥) or walk 1/4 mile to Asakusa toei station (Takanawadai); cross the streey, slight uphill. To avoid taxi/walking, get off Narita express at Tokyo station, take Marunouchi metro to Ginza (1 stop) transfer to Hibiya metro ride to Higashi-ginza (1 stop), then transfer to Asukasa toei and ride to Magome station (9 stops). Exit station at exit A3 turn left when you get to the top and walk 25 ft to entrance.

Good Value and convenient”
I styaed here because it was close to Haneda airport and convenient to get into Tokyo (subway entrance is next door). It is also a 5km jog or 5 min taxi to the Meguro river which is great for walking or running alongside. Room was compact, but very clean and tidy. I would stay here again.

It works.”
I liked this place. Its main minus is that it is a distance from the more interesting parts of Tokyo and the neighborhood it is in is not the most interesting (however there is a nice sushi bar nearby). It is extremely close to the subway line which means you can get anywhere relatively quick. And you don't have far to lug luggage if you are coming from the airport. Having Coco's attached to the hotel was convient. Coco's maybe an American chain, but this Coco is not the usual American version. Nothing special, but convient.

Nice hotel in a great location”
the hotel is very close to the station, and a nice chain restaurant downstairs. the rooms are small, but not a surprise to japan. but it was perfectly clean. we had a small problem in the room and the staff was very kind and effective and help us with that. it's located in a nice and good location area, close to main attractions, but in a more calm part of tokyo.

Next to Subway but Room a bit small”
Surprised to find that Hotel is just next to the Magome Subway Station immediately after taking the elevator at Exit A3 upon arrival at the station! We were allowed to leave our baggage at the hotel before the check-in time of 3pm though we came back earlier at 2pm and were allowed to check in as the room was ready then! It's a bit small though with a "Double" Room. The vicinity is actually residential area but with several convenient stores and small restaurants. Loud traffic noise from the window and outside. After all, considering the great & convenient location with the Subway just next to the hotel and tidiness of the room with the relatively low price, still worth the money!

clean & tidy budget hotel”
Near to Magome station (take elevator at Exit A3). Hotel located right next to the elevator. Receptionist is very helpful even though he hardly conversed in english. Coin laundry is available in lobby area with 200yen per wash (30mins) & 200yen for 30min dryer. Detergent, however can be purchase in the reception area (50yen). Microwave is also available in lobby area. Free WiFi in all rooms with excellent coverage & strength.

small but well-equipped hotel room”
The room is compact but well-equipped. I particularly like the small electronic pot that I use to make tea and cook simple soup noodle. The table is also big enough for work as many other economic hotels don't bother to provide a functional writing table. The location is excellent as it is right beside the subway station and has an easy access to international airport.

great location and great service”
great service, great location coz its just right beside magome subway station exit. the small room is a little too small for shopaholic or backpackers as the backpack/luggage itself for 2 pax has nowhere to be placed, should have booked the larger rooms. great budget hotel with great service.

Lovely hotel”
The staff in the hotel are very nice .It close to subway station and 15 mins walk to JR station. After 15 mins walk down to North-west ,you find out this is a mazing area.Lots of restaurants and stores on both sides of the streets. Ozeki supermarket is one of them.Although it is a bit far from the town centre, but the subway run untill midnight. It is not a bit deal for the people like to have night life.

You get what you pay for”
Finding accomodation in Tokyo in July is not easy; it took quite a while to find the Tokyo Inn. It is hard to describe the Tokyo Inn as a very attractive hotel. Still, it is clean and things generally seem to be working. The location is not perfect, but visiting Tokyo requires a lot of subway travel anyway. A few more stops make no different. All in all, I'd say the Tokyo Inn is not a bad choice. I might stay there again.

Nice clean hotel but small rooms.”
yes, the rooms were small but didn't use them for much other than to sleep. the hotel itself was nice and clean. nice to have the laundry facilities in the hotel. the restaurant attached to the hotel was not so great. we explored the neighborhood behind the hotel and found couple of great local restaurants.
