Designed by architect Kisho Kurokawa, the ultra-modern hotel features 216 elegant guestrooms and is situated in the heart of Tokyo. With its location just off of busy Roppongi Dori, Tokyo Prince Hotel is a short walk to Tokyo's thriving nightlife and entertainment district. The property is built around an inner courtyard with an open-air swimming pool in the center. Guests are within easy reach of the many shops, restaurants, and attractions. There are four on-site restaurants that serve Japanese and Western cuisine. The multi-purpose hall features marble Greek and Roman sculptures. The 4-star hotel is the ideal choice for guests who want a tranquil location close to the bustle of the Roppongi district.

Do not understand what you are requesting”
The hotel is well managed with a good variety of restaurants and a convenience shop in the basement. The hotel is well located if planning to visit the Tokyo Tower, Roppongi district or stroll in Shiba Park. There are children's playground facilities close by and access to a swimming pool in summer. There are many very affordable independent Japanese eating places close by. For quick take-away meals McDonalds and Subway are close by as well. The simplest access to the Tokyo underground railway network is via Hamamatsucho, a 10-12 minute walk. The Narita Airport Limousine bus calls to the hotel and outbound bus fares can be added to your hotel account. If cash is needed several ATMs are close, with a Post Office only a short walk. Staff were found to be very friendly and always helpful. The Tokyo Prince Hotel is certainly a favourite place to stay.
its in center of key business places of Tokyo. Ginza, Roppongi, are both in 10minutes by cab. Access from airport-wise, from Narita, just to go Tokyo station and again 10minutes by cab. also from haneda, just come to Shinagawa or Hamamatsu cho and also about 10 minutes. they even has free shuttle to Hamamatsu cho where has direct monorail to Haneda. its by the park so view from the room is not blocked by other buildings. all room can see blue sky. its quite rare in Tokyo. Only this hotel or Prince Tokyo Park Tower has in Tokyo. Its base structure built quite a while ago. so its spacious than other hotels. Its surely more than value for money.
i have booked three rooms in tokyo prince hotel, including two single and one double room. all are quite spatial, compared with other hotels where had stayed in tokyo. the hotel location is fantastic, just in front of tokyo tower. we had the rooms with tower view. although the hotel is a bit old and under renovation, the facilities in the room are appreciable. the nearest metro station is only 100 metres away from the hotel. there are many eateries along a street connecting to the temple next to the hotel. the staff speak english well. the downside of hotel service is that no free internet provided. you have to pay yen per day for internet access. overall we found the stay in the hotel enjoyable.
Great hotel close to Tokyo Tower”
We stayed here with family members to start off our Japan trip. We've stayed in another Prince Hotel before and decided to try out this location. This hotel is best suited for someone who is traveling for business and/or wants a quieter hotel. Although near Tokyo Tower and Shiba Park, there is little foot and vehicle traffic in this area. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the Hamamatsucho JR Station or Daimon Station subway station for the Oeido and Asakusa lines. Closer to the station is where you'll find restaurants, bars, cafes, and other establishments. Not much shopping in this area. Restaurants are relatively pricey in the hotel, so we ended up walking towards the stations for cheaper eats. No Wifi (paid or free) but there are computers available for use in the lobby for a small fee (coin-operated). There were wireless connections available, but they seemed to be pay services. If you forgo housekeeping services, you can earn a credit (forget how much) to spend at the hotel or shops downstairs. However, you can only skip housekeeping two days in a row. If we are looking for a hotel in this area, we would definitely stay at this hotel again.
Excellence service ”
Tokyo Prince hotel is excellent hotel, located in middle of the city่. It is very comfortable and wide space for staying and relaxing. The hotel staffs are friendly and good service. The room are clean and comfortable. We will stay at Tokyo Prince every time, If we'll be back in Tokyo.
2nd stay and service with a smile”
This was our 2nd stay at the Tokyo Prince Hotel for 1 night before flying home, and again we had a pleasant stay. If you're taking the train out to the airport for your flight home, the hotel will ship your baggage to the airport for a small fee, best to enquire about this service prior to your day of departure. When you check-in be sure to ask about their "Green Cleaning" promotion I mentioned in an earlier review.
I would highly recommend the Tokyo Prince to my friends. The location is great, right in the park and between two famous temple/shrine. Just 10 mins taxi from the Tokyo station to the hotel. It is great value of money during the new year. The best part probably would be the room is right facing the Tokyo tower, looks like it says good morning and good night to us. Overall experience is great!
Good location near to Metro station”
tokyo prince hotel offers value for money. we booked two rooms and both faced tokyo tower which was only a stone's throw away. the hotel is old but the rooms are well clean and the beds comfortable. the tokyo metro station is just next to the hotel, so getting around is really no issue at all. the hotel has an eco-friendly policy whereby guests receive a jpy voucher which can be used at the convenience store located in the basement if guests elect not to have their rooms cleaned.
We enjoyed our stay in Tokyo Prince Hotel. The room was spacious and very clean. What we loved the most was the smoking area which had seats and the lawson store in the basement. Thank you Tokyo Prince. We will come back.
great view of tokyo tower”
A good 3* hotel in a great location with rooms overlooking Tokyo Tower. The room furnishings are a little dated but for the price you can't go wrong, and I spent hours researching hotels for our Tokyo stay. Within a 10 minute walk you've got a number of rail stations to choose from and restaurants are plentiful. Be sure to not have your room cleaned on 2 consecutive days and get vouchers to the value JPY1000 per day to use in the hotels gift shop in the basement - good little gifts, hand towels, note paper, etc. We had an enjoyable stay and definately recommend this hotel.
Good value and convenient location”
We enjoyed our stay at Tokyo Prince Hotel. The hotel is situated outside of the bustling ares of Tokyo. If your sole purpose in Tokyo is shopping, then this hotel isn't the most convenient choice. However, there's a subway station (Onarimon) exit within 5 min walk of the hotel hence it's pretty easy to navigate around to the other attractions in location. Hotel rooms in Japan are generally pretty small but the room we had is quite decent. It faces the Tokyo Tower too so at night when the Tower is being lit up, it's quite beautiful.
enjoying views of the tokyo tower, which is just 3 minutes' walk away, tokyo prince hotel offers a seasonal outdoor pool, pampering spa treatments and an on-site shopping arcade. air-conditioned rooms come with a flat-screen tv and a private bathroom.
Great location and huge beds”
We stayed twice at the Tokyo Prince - beware there are several hotels with similar names in Tokyo so make sure you print off the taxi map on the website - and it was great both times. The rooms are generous and the beds are huge.
great quiet location in tokyo near tokyo tower”
we enjoyed our stay at tokyo prince hotel. good adequate size rooms and well appointed amenities. vry near the subway and tokyo tower
i have stayed in many hotels in tokyo, but will definitely be returning to the tokyo prince. rooms are clean, spacious by tokyo standards, and nicely furnished. the hotel is close to onarimon station on the mita line, and has a convenience store in the basement for any day to day needs. our room looked out straight at tokyo tower, and the open space surrounding the hotel means that it is quieter than most other options.
Great location and bed”
great location, just 3 minutes walk to subway station, onarimon of mita line (bule symbole marked as i, the station number is i06). from this station , you can reach hibiya just 2 stops, and visit ginza, imperial palace and other central tokyo area. you can also transfer to asakusa line to senso-ji and ueno park. ¥700 for toei line 1-day pass will cover almost need. bed is large enough, actually, too large for us! room is also larger than expected. shower is good, i use it as water massage on my feet and back every night. it's very convenient from narita airport by airport limo cost ¥3000/person, also provide tour reservation service at bell desk. it's on the hotel pick and drop list of tours provided by major agencies, and pick-up time is 8:30am that allow a comfortable breakfast ! (this is the 1st reason i choose the hotel). based on above, and due to tour itinerary modification, i extended one more night on oringinal reservation through agoda, then.
This hotel is located very closed to the Tokyo Tower. In fact, we were able to see the Tokyo Tower from our hotel room, it was just a few blocks away. Their service was also pretty good. After we checked in, we found out the fridge was not working and informed the front desk about the problem. They sent 2 staffs and brought a new fridge to replace the old one within 15 minutes.
Great hotel and location, knowledgable staff”
Highly recommend this hotel we have stayed there every trip to Tokyo and have not been disappointed. The buffet in the hotel is good for Tokyo prices use the coupons in the hotel guide within your room to save a few cents
Great Location hotel with Tokyo Tower View”
We really enjoy our stay in Tokyo prince hotel. The location is great, nearby Tokyo tower and our room have Tokyo Tower view so nice. In addition to that, it's near the Subway station, which really assist us travelling Tokyo. The staff itself so helpful that we impress on the performance of the staff. Recommend the hotel.
Fine but dated hotel”
This grand old hotel is now dated even tired, but it provides great value for the price and its location in the quiet green part of Tokyo is superb. It's proximity to the subway makes getting around the city quite easy. We regret that the affordable breakfast is not served before 9 am. Guess this is so most guests will have to partake in the heavy and much more expensive Japanese breakfast. The beautiful and large pool did not open until July 1st even though it was already hot and muggy in Tokyo. No central air conditioning in the hallways and common spaces made it less pleasant to relax outside of the room.
