Best Hostel I have been so far”
The Hostel is super clean. The rooftop is really great when sunny ! The bed capsules are confy. I was into the female dorms and it has a very limited number of beds so it was silent and confortable. Bathroom was big. Living room was very confy with free coffee. Best hostel I have bee, so far.

Clean, well maintained facilities, excellent staffs”
Very clean and well kept hostel with full facilities in basement level(microwave, coffee, towel rentals, fridges, dining area). Clear signage and posters in English as indication to guests. All bedrooms access doors comes with electronic locks. Staffs speaks English and are extremely helpful in introducing facilities (safety back, shoe box, showers etc.) Location is a bit off from Tokyo center but accessible from 2 minutes walking distance to Naka - Itabashi Station. Travel from Naka - Itabashi is not covered under JR rail pass or Tokyo Metro pass. Pricing is extremely value for money more so that many 3 star hotels. Celebratory sake was also offered as new year celebrations to welcome 2023.

Comfy Stay”
This hostel was very peaceful. It’s located in a residential area so it’s nice and quite. It IS located pretty far (to me) from all the action of central Tokyo. If you’re using the metro subway pass it’s a decent walk to the nearest station. Staff was very friendly. Answered all my questions and said goodbye and welcome back on each of my trips. Big common area downstairs where folks were most of the time eating and relaxing with friends. Women’s bathroom en-suite is small just fyi. We kindly let each person use the full bathroom by turn but it’s not guaranteed. More showers are in the basement as well. All and all a great stay.

The place is very nice, clean, cozy and convenient that nearby train station, restaurant convenient shop. I really love the neighborhood also where is quiet, local and comfortable. The staffs are very friendly.

Outstanding hostel ”
Really good place. Extremely clean and lots of nice amenities. Although it is a bit far from the center of Tokyo, the subway networks can be easily reached and the neighborhood is super nice, calm and with plenty of great and affordable options for food).

I really enjoy my stay here, I love the free coffee! The location is a bit off the city, but that's what I like, not too crowded like in the center. Near to the station, convenient store and 24hour restaurant. The staff were friendly, and they serve free sake for the New Year celebration. Really recommend this hotel.

Very nice, clean and cheap”
One of the best places for solo travelers that don’t want to spend a fortune in accommodation. It is very clean and has a big common room with a kitchen, fridge and common showers. If you book a bed in the female room you share a shower only with a few other females in the same room. Staff were helpful. Only thing I wish was better was the location, as the JR pass does not cover the train you have to get to go there. But it’s super close to that station so it’s convenient.

Don't trust the flowery reviews”
It's an ok hostel for long term stay. But if it's not really cost efficient because of the cost of local train to and from + the travel time. From Shibuya it's just 30 minutes but all other locations in Tokyo, like in Ginza, it takes more than an hour. It is also not advisable for those with foot or knee injury since you might be given a room on the 3rd floor and they only have tight one-person stairs you can't even bring your luggage upstairs. If you're unlucky, the other occupants of the room would be too loud, even at 2am. There is only 1 bathroom in a shared room of 8 beds so I had to go down from the 3rd floor to the basement to use one. There is also a bit of smell in the room's bathroom. Staff is ok and nice. But they won't allow cancellations even before the date of stay. I have stayed at different hostels before but this one just made me quit. Again, this is fit for those who just wants a bed to sleep in but for a casual tourist I wouldn't recommend it. I had to stay in another hotel for the last 2 days of my stay because I need to have decent sleep.

Guesthouse is exceptional”
I stayed with my mom in a 6-bed female room located at the 2nd floor. The beds are really spacious and has a curtain for privacy. There is a free foot massage machine inside the room. The common bathroom is just outside of our room. Free shampoo, conditioner, soap and towel are being provided. Staff is friendly is easy to communicate in English. The common area is located in the basement floor. A brewed coffee is for free. Though, there is no water dispenser for drinking since the tap water is safe for drinking. I would definitely come back again here for my next trip in Tokyo. Location wise, it is near to local train station Naka-itabashi (140 yen). 3 stops to Ikebukuro station for the transfer to the Metro Line (for Tokyo/Shinjuku/Shibuya). Thank you! :)

Great place near station”
I make a late night book & it needs about 8 mins. walked from my last place. And they already ready for me. The staff even help me to bring up my big suitcase, which is not a regular action for a hostel staff. The place is great, the space is big enough for 6 people to put everything around. The shower & bathroom is great, with amenities such shampoo & soap. We can rent towel in case forget to bring own. And the kitchen area is great too. It only needs 7 mins. walk from Itabashi train station & there's a lot of restaurant or convenience store near it.

New hostel !”
I have never visited this area by myself before so I made a reservation to explore the area. This property is in the middle of Naka-itabashi shopping street so you have many choice of dining and drinking out. The next station Oyama is also a good for shopping like a local. The hostel is perfect! I like the capsule style bed and clean facilities. One of a staff is from Vietnam and she is super friendly.

Exceptional”
PROS: 1-2 minute walk from Naka-Itabashi train station of Tobu Tojo Line. Also near 7-11, family mart and many food establishments. The hostel was very clean. I enjoyed staying at the common area where there is strong wifi signal, free coffee and outlets. Staff were polite and helpful. CONS: need extra 150 Yen from Ikebukuro-NakaItabashi per way since it is a local line. there is no elevator but the staff helped me carry my luggage. Overall a good stay. Will recommend this place to my friends.

Friendly staff and very clean, everything is great. Only minor negative point is that it is not close to a JR train line for those with the JR Pass. It is close to the Naka Itabashi train station though.

Efficient and cozy”
I actually loved having my own small little nook for a bed. I thought I would hate it, but it goes along with the ideal that less is more!. After a long day I would go down to the common area and watch some tv and eat snacks amongsts the other guests. I do wish the men’s shower area was a little bigger more simulator to the girls which had a large sink and large mirror. For the men they have to settle with the one that’s outside in the bedrooms where you can be seen shaving or getting ready. Overall this guest house was quite efficient, with the price and what you get it’s a killer deal. Most the staff was all friendly and very helpful they even went out of their way to print out some parts for me regarding g specifics of the JR Pass. There was on staff member who seemed to sneer a lot and perhaps not in a great mood most the time. The location is a small quaint town of naka-itabashi and it’s located literally right next to the train station.

It's new place that just open 2 days upon our arrival. Actually i just planning to stayed there for 1 week & end up to stayed there for another week & i've got female dorm for all myself alone haha~ The nearby station is Naka Itabashi (tobu toju line) only 5-10 min walk and there is nearby subway/metro station called Itabashihoncho need to walk 20-30 min walk (you can used 1/2/3day subway pass for that). The area is actually is local resident place, a bit quite but there is a lot of local food shop nearby,7e mart.. The staff is helpful,they even provide free coffee,fast wifi. So I hope everyone would enjoy staying there like i do ^^

When you stayed our guesthouse, there was nobody else in your room so you could relax and make your self at home.] But now, We have a lot more guests coming to our guesthouse and we are honored to be one of thier choices. A cost-effective option for an expensive city”
Staying in Tokyo is pretty expensive, but if you can bear a hostel, I'd recommend this one quite highly. It was clean, comfortable and overall, it was better than expected. It's a little further from the main tourist districts, but close to a train station, so everything is still accessible. We enjoyed our stay here and for the price, it was good value. Also, if you want some authentic Japanese food, check out Edonoumi nearby. They serve Chankonabe (a sumo stew) and we had a really great dinner and the staff were super friendly!

This is hands down the best hostel I have stayed at in Japan. You can't beat the price to value ratio. Also in a very cool/central part of Tokyo that is 5 minutes walk from the train station. The staff makes you feel welcome and speak more English than most people. I would recommend to every traveler coming to Tokyo.

Wonderful Retreat from the Busy City”
While this hostel is a bit far from Tokyo's most popular tourist sites, I found myself really enjoying the location - a peaceful and quaint suburb full of bikers and pedestrians. There are many good restaurants around the area, as well as a beautiful walking path along the river where you can enjoy the sakura (cherry blossoms) during the spring. The JR station is close by, which enables travelers to easily visit different areas of Tokyo. I highly recommend to anyone interested in experiencing a different aspect of life in Tokyo, and I myself hope to be back!
