Quiet, Clean, Delicious Food”
The beach here is very peaceful, not crowded even during long holidays. It's close to the canal, where you can take a kayak from the beachfront accommodation and paddle through the canal to the waterfall. Each bungalow is nicely arranged, not cramped, with good wifi signal and TV that can link to Youtube. All staff are lovely, and when we were hungry after the kitchen was closed, they brought us cup noodles. There's a fire show every Saturday night, which is very impressive. All of my friends were impressed and want to come back here again.

Staff was great and very attentive. Not next to the beach and had to take a free kayak to reach a proper beach. Definitely need to get a scooter to get around or the receptionists can book a driver that usually cost us 300 baht each way. We had beach view and that was clean. The restaurant was fine and was on the high side, but wife, 9 yo picky son and 3 yo also picky daughter were pleased with the food. They had food over 1,000 baht, but most averaged at 300 to 400 baht a dish. One negative was a restaurant recommendation, Nuch-Luang Seafood Restaurant. I will not go back here. Food was good and seafood fresh, but this is pretty much everywhere on the island. The place was put together cheap and seating is tight. The wait for food is over an hour. It's probably because it seems most resorts must recommend this place. I saw many unhappy foreigners waiting on their food. The waiter order the large size dishes for us, we were not given a choice or told we order probably too much food. We had three dishes that should serve four people each dish, a vegetable dish for my daughter, a pork dish for my son, and a large bowl of soup (so six orders total). We noticed that the table next to us had a much smaller plate compared to our large one. We asked why their plate was normal compared to ours. They said they asked for the small size. We had so much left over it was ridiculous. I would definitely recommend Tolani and will be back, but will try a resort that has beach access my next trip.
