Staying in a suite.....huge room with sofa, dresser and bathroom with super strong shower. Bed is very comfortable., nice cold fridge for drinks ...........some sea views from the balcony. Cleaners arriving daily and wonderful smiling staff.........both beaches just a few minutes walk away with shops all all close by and a restaurant downstairs.......hotel is quiet....nice place.

2nd time at Tomato, i love this place , the best sleep i have had in over 30 years. A bit of a walk , but i am a exercise junkie. The staff are wonderful . Love the in room safe. Dissapointed slightly with the restaurant down stairs, very local , but ok.. No elevator , so if you have a problem with stairs - think twice. I have a shattered leg , but use the stairs as a forced exercise. Will i return to Tomato , yes , 100%

The staff at the hotel were extremely and it was really convenient since there is a restaurant downstairs. The rooms were really clean and I’m fully satisfied with all the facilities provided. Would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Langkawi.

Pros: good location, just beside the road, turn a corner can be reach to chenang night market; the hotel attached with a mamak restaurant, is 24 hours operating, guest serve with 10% discount; wide parking lot, it is free of charge; fast response reception on call. Cons: the mamak food is so so. Get extra bed without any charges! Feeling lucky and thankful.

All is good except that it quite noisy at night. U can hear next door chatting, above floor walking and sound of car, motorcycle and aeroplane passing by. Quite loud. Second night i hv to sleep wearing earplug.

Staff are busy with restaurant more than hotel itself , air-conditioning system not good and the electricity is overloaded because when we opened the heater for taking shower the electricity shut down

Tomato Hotel is a really good budget hotel. I had ordered a standard room, but I was upgraded to a nicer and bigger room on their own initiative. Room was very nice and clean with a rather big bathroom. To turn on the hot water there is a switch outside the bathroom next to the light switch.. Room was cleaned everyday and new towles and water bottles were provided. The hotel is only about 7 min. walk to Pantai Tengah beach which I found to be much nicer than Cenang. However that is my personal opinion. 10min. walk to Cenang. There is a good restaurant downstairs and guests get 10% discount. Next door is very good seafood restaurant. Both are highly recommended as he food is both very good and much cheaper than in Cenang centre. I would definitely recommend this hotel as it is very good value for the money and I didn't have any complaints.

Great Location || Clean Room”
If you're just looking for a clean place to lay your head at night then this place is great! We were wanting to do Langkawi on a budget so didn't need a lot of amenities. Our room was clean and AC worked great. The staff was friendly and competent. The food downstairs was GREAT and 10% discount to hotel guests. And you can't beat the location for the price. We were very happy to stay at Tomato Hotel Langkawi.

Best for low budget”
Location is best (pantai cenang), rooms were good, toilets were clean, staff was cooperative, no problem for food as there is a restaurant on the ground floor. Everything was fine. The only thing we didn't like was the noise beds made. They were ok but whenever you move they sound like their springs were broken. A little upgradation would be nice. Otherwise everything was totally fine. 100% recommended as we got half the price as compared to others. Hotels of the same category were also expensive. AC was good, towels were provided, room service was available, iron was also available outside the room.

Value for money”
Our initial plan was to stay 2 nights here and browse the area for another place for the rest of 4 nights. We finally decided to spend our whole nights in langkawi here. Despite its shortcomings like wifi connection and water pressure, its location and price is still the best value for your money. The bed is comfortable and daily clean is spotless. I would wholeheartedly recokmend this hotel if the wifi connection and water pressure could be improved

The room was quit big for the price that i paid. Walking distance to the beach. You will get 10% discount to eat at the tomato restaurant. Wifi connection is bad. Overall im very satisfy with this hotel!

Essentially if you know you book a 1 star hotel and do not expect a 5 star facilities then you may be pleasantly surprised. The hotel is closer to Pantai Tengah- (10 min walk) than Pantai Cenang.( 15-20 min walk) The staff are courteous and helpful. The restaurant downstairs offers tasty cheap Indian food. The facilities are better than a 1 star hotel. One big fail is that my brother found a mouse in his room.

Best affordable budget hotel”
Some 5 minutes walking distance to the beach, 10-15minutes to the hive of activities at pantai cenang. but there will be lot of shops to see along the walk. One thing to note however was the nasi kandar store at ground level. Food will not be a problem obviously but the mouth watering smell might creep into the room.

staff was friendly. they allowed early and fast check in. they even offered a free upgrade to the deluxe room, but deluxe room comes with twin beds only. standard rooms have double beds only. the double bed is actually small for big sized people. luckily, my partner and i are small sized asians, so able to manage with the small bed. the room is really nice and modern. i like the shower. room was cleaned daily with mineral water replenished. tv only has 3 channels. wifi is ok, intermittently disconnecting. the restaurant below serves awesome food at reasonable prices. the beach is around 10 to 15 minute walk away. you can ride a bike from the nearby shop to commute around, cheaper than many taxi rides. will definitely stay here again.
