Motel 6 Prices, but rooms are prison cell size
Located in Chung King Mansion, the hotel is on Nathan Road near the harbor, and located convenient to shopping and attractions in Kowloon.
On my recent trip I transited through Hong Kong several times during October, and I needed a low cost place to stay for a night at a time. I stayed at three different "hotels" in Chung King Mansion, and Tom's Guest House was the one I liked least. For single travelers, the rooms are very basic, and quite small, but I was somewhat expecting that. The problem with Tom's Guest House is that the air conditioner did not work, and the ceiling was very low with a ceiling fan which helped somewhat with the heat, but I did hurt my hand in the ceiling fan. This budget hotel option is good for single, young travelers or individuals needing a flight layover accommodation, but check for the hotels that have been recently modernized.

Staying in a rabbit-hutch
Close to public transport, Private toilet and shower, Luggage keeper
To enter the guesthouse you need to walk through the passage full of people offering you accommodation, watch, handbags etc. Then you need to wait in the queue for the elevator (5-10 minutes) and finally you can spend some nice time in the guesthouse where the rooms are very very small (like rabbit hutch) that I felt little bit claustrophobic. The bed was small but clean which was more appreciated. A/C was so noisy that we had to switch it off. Shower was so hot that I burned myself (if I knew it before I would take a coffee and tea bags with me). Overall I think it was OK when you compare it to other Hong Kong guesthouses.

very pleasant
staff checkin close to parks
Very adequate though it was difficult to find since the entry is not directly on the street but through a shopping plaza.

Always stay hereGreat location, the staff is great
Price, location, friendly
This stop is easy to get to, bus from airport Chinese airport drops you off within two blocks, and the subway from Hong Kong airport drops you off within two blocks. The bus from and to Hong Kong airport is almost in front of the hotel. The best part of this is the lady who runs it, she is great, so helpful. If you want tickets somewhere, she can get a great price. Rooms are clean, and they have water, microwave and fridge for you to use.

Cheap hotel, free wifi
Cheap hotel, free wifi
Rooms ok for this price but, not so clean, towels dirty. Free wifi. All these hotels inside of shopping mall. Not good place for woman traveling alone, because place full of indian men trying to sell you handbags, watches etc.. They behave quite agressive way , so not comfortable for woman staying alone.
