Warning !! beware !! danger do not rent here
the it girl was cute
i have warned you: do not rent here. this place should be torn down. the lobby is nice looking. then it goes bad. the elevators are dirty, smells of smokers, the walls, the flooring, etc. the room: mold covering the whole bathroom, the sink stopper would not come out, hence a sink full of dirty water, the shower would not drain. plugged with women's hairs. the toilet was dirty. very tiny bar of soap. no hand held shower head. in wall only. water on bathroom floor all the time. the cable for tv, the internet, the telephone was not working. i asked for soft mattress, nope got hard. i asked for non smokers room, nope got ash trays and smell of cigarettes. the electrical socket would not charge my laptop. the air conditioning got colder and colder, would not adjust. the a/c fan did not work on low...only high. the free breakfast was ok, except for instant coffee. i moved out the next day, found a much nicer place for $4.00 a night cheaper... do not stay here....sleep on the sidewalk.

Old hotel and bad location
nothing worth to mention
Old is the word for this hotel. I think it has seen its glory years, many years back. This hotel really needs a make over quick otherwise its going to frustrate more guests.

Nice, clean and cheap hotel
Good service
The reseption was quite nice and elegant. The room showed signs of being old by being a little bit worned, but not anything that matters. Everything was clean, and the bed was good. The breakfast was OK, but not what we expect on a western hotel.

Worth the money
Good Hotel
The room is clean even a bit old. Breakfast is good too. I would like to suggest if possible to upgrade the WIFI internet which is rather slow. Over roll is satisfied with my stay. Will return back.

Getting a bit old but are starting to renovate
Cheap and reasonably clean, comfortable thai style hotel with all night entertainment, massage parlour, karaoke, resturantes and pub/live bands.
Always pop into the ton koon when in udon for a feel of thai hotel life. clients walking in with litre bottles of black label whisky, great thai singers male and females, meals while you eat and drink until very, very late. you get the feel of some thai culture when you see the rich old guy with the young girlfriend/mistress. good to open ones senses to how things work around the world. as for the hotel, she is getting a bit worn out but they have closed some floors and are renovating the rooms on a budget. the bathroom and room in general acceptably clean condition. 1 tip = insist room cleaning staff dont open the windows when cleaning room if ypu have slept in as mosquitoes quickly come into room if room is cleaned around dusk.you need to physically show then as they dont understand english.
