“A rare opportunity”
Tong Chee House is a step back in time. It has all modern cons but is a beautifully restored house in Flying Fish Cove. Dave and Dale were wonderful hosts who were on hand but respectful of our privacy.

“Excellent”
A gorgeous little house, one of the best on the island IMO. We were slightly taken aback by the location on arrival (it overlooks some industrial buildings) but that’s all of the island really. We went to some other holiday rentals over our time at Christmas (we were part of a big grouo) and Tong Chee was by far the most beautiful and comfortable to stay in. No sea views (well there is a glimpse from one corner of the deck) but an easy short walk to Flying Fish Cove and it’s amazing swimming and snorkelling from the jetty, close to the shop, etc. The kitchen is great, as are the outdoor bathrooms, and super comfy beds. We would stay again, for sure

“We had a fabulous stay”
Our stay at tong chee house have been awesome, the property is very clean, it has been throughout clean and not many properties clean this way. The design is of mix strait chinese style, it's also fully equipped with everything you need. Washing machine, semi outdoor shower, fully functional kitchen and more. The owner is also extremely nice and accommodating, the property is on the higher end category on the island so strongly recommended if you want a good stay.

Lovely house with great amenities. Loved the outdoor tropical style shower. Close to amenities and a stroll to Flying Fish Cove. Perfect accommodation for your stay in the Christmas Islands

“Outstanding”
This 2 bed 2 bath bungalow is perfectly located - walkable to the tourist office, 2 supermarkets (one of which is the biggest on the island) restaurants and pub, plus all the ocean activities of Flying Fish Cove. The property is well maintained and equipped - all making for a very comfortable stay. The outside BBQ was easy to use and clean There were fans throughout the property plus aircon to keep us cool We were a little worried about the internet, but allowing for a daily usage of up to 2GB the wifi was perfect. We never ran out of our data allowance. We were fortunate to meet the owners Dave & Dale who were the perfect hosts.
