A place that comes to mind even after returning home”
Stayed in a 4-person dormitory, but it was clean. It was a shame that the bathroom was shared, and there was a slight smell in the water, but it didn't cause any skin irritation. The price was very reasonable, including breakfast. There was a spacious lounge that could be used freely. After finishing the day's itinerary, I went to the lounge every evening. There were always individual travelers taking a break here and there in the lounge. You can also have a private meal or play games. I keep thinking about the cozy and comfortable lounge after returning. It was a shame that only one towel was provided, but overall, I was very satisfied with the cleanliness, breakfast, staff's kindness, and everything. The location is also very good, only a 3-5 minute walk from Sunday Market. If I go again, I will go to Toojoowoo.

So after hiking mount Kk I needed a place to do my laundry and that was the reason I choose this place to begin with Was definitely the best decision I made 😅 this place is beautiful. The stairs has artwork on every single floor There is the laundry room at the common area so while waiting for he laundry you can chill on the bean bag or work , play foosball , pool . The area is nice quiet and cosy. The laundry comes with dryer so all was cool. Then above there is a roof top bar which is just lovely. The staff is friendly :) Rooms are clean and neat. Has the locker below the bunk bed. Will surely visit again when m in Kk

One of the best hotel i ever stayed. Even the room is small, and have no TV in the room, but it is still cozy and comfortable. You may connect you phone to the room Bluetooth system and enjoying your entertainment. Location is strategy. The hotel have a restaturant and a bar to serve with food and drinks. Overall, recommended for those with budget trip.

Had a really great stay in Toojou. The location is really convenient, anywhere is just a grab away. The ambiance in the hotel is really soothing and relaxing. They even have coin laundry service which is perfect after my hike to Mt Kinabalu. The co working space in the Mezzanine floor is really suitable, if you just wanna wind down and read in the afternoon. Overall, really loving the experience in Toojou.

First of all, I would like to give a credit on the cleanliness of the room, I was staying on bunk bed room which has 6 beds per room. Good assistant upon check in. The interior design of the lobby is tip top. Has a level of huge common area which contains sufficient seats, laundry, office use, playground, pool tables, gaming as well. Nice cafe in the lobby, even wine cellar is available. There is a bar available on the rooftop for a chill session with music. I won’t mind staying whole day indoor because it is so much fun. If you’re looking for a place to get away for a day or two, this is good choice. The bar is on the roof top. They also have a cafe downstairs. It’s in the middle of town. If you are looking to stay longer and stay in, the rooms will be a bit too small for that. It’s still comfortable regardless.

Good location, easy to get the taxi go to go KK park (be firm to say "no" if you don't want to pay 10x extra when the driver trying to convince you to reserve their vehicle for a whole day trip.) Helpful front desk! Thanks to the Chinese reception lady who provided me useful information to explore KK and the Malay uncle helped me to open my room door at midnight (the sensor of the doorlock ran out of battery 😅) Overall, I had a wonderful stay with TOOJOU! Will definitely recommend to others!

Absolutely Loved The Place”
The restaurant serves good food, the bar has great DJs and drink promos, beds and toilets are clean, the art in the stairway and on the building itself is a pleasure to see, the staff have awesome service and the vibes at the OPIS area is great to chill, hang and work. I enjoyed my stay here so much, that I think this will be my go-to accomodation everytime I visit Sabah!

It was my first time checkin to a hostel as a solo traveller I liked it. There was locker right below your own bed, bathrooms are clean. Place to store shoes separately. Staff were super helpful and always responded promptly on any requests. I would 100% recommend it

To be honest, I've contemplating myself whether to stay at Toojou previously when I'm back to KK since I'm reserved with strangers but yesterday I think I'll give it a try. Arrived late to the premise, the staff guide me and answered my curiosity with patience . The room and toilet is clean, comfortable and I feel safe during my stay. The interior design is nice and trendy. Definitely will recommed to my friend and I'll definitely will come.back soooon. In fact, I'm extending my stay for one more night.

The best! Small but perfect ”
I often go to Toojou for drinks at Tamu at Dinner at Tana. First time staying here and it was great! The room is rather small but comfortable and cozy. Loved the Bluetooth speaker on the ceiling . Staff was amazing and was really helpful especially when enquiring about checking in early and late check out. Fast response! Highly recommend this place. A bang for your buck for sure!

The place is super pleasing to the eyes with the arts and colourful displays. arrived late from a flight delay but staff made it easier for me to settle in after a long day. room is clean and comfortable. the shared bathroom though had wet floors outside of the showers at the sink areas . NOT a fan of wet floors while i brush my teeth and got ready for bed.

So far the best place to stay. Affordable. And the most important thing is that this place is located in the middle of the city of Kota Kinabalu so it's easy if you want to move around. Easy to find Grab. Highly recommended. Thank you to the staff who always provide the best service. Don't forget to try the bar on the top floor of this hotel.
