worst hotel ever
None
It is a run down property with rowdy and rude customers. In the evenings, the outdoor hot spring pools are overrun by noisy guests. The carpet in the room is a patch work of sections and full of cigarette burn marks. The bathroom is not cleaned! There are water spots around the sink, tub and shower. The most disgusting is the poop marks in the toilet!!!

Good room with large, picture window.
The size of the room, breakfast, and the view from the room.
Aging hotel. Hot spring pool is right next to the sidewalk and the street.
the staff was very nice and helpful. the location of the toong mao is good for the nightlife, but is farther from the national park entrance than some other hotels. the hotel's hot springs pools do not open until three in the afternoon, so no morning dip is possible.

Dirty room, poor cleanliness throughout
Cheap overnight stay, reasonable spa
Staff poorly trained on cleanliness standards
As a tourist, main reason to come to the area is for the hot sprngs. The hotel has one, its clean and decent, with a pool. Location is several miles from anywhere, so be aware if you're planning to tour the area. Town suffered badly from last year's (2009) typhoon, and the landslide is visible from the hotel. But main reason for complaint is poor standards of cleanliness. Watched a waitress clear a table of crumbs using her hand, sweeping them to the floor. Room - bed was clean, walls and all surfaces need a good wash. Don't want to see kitchen staff sitting in the dining room in this 'standard' of hotel. Its a bargain price for a reason! Pay £10 more and stay in one of many others in the town. Beautiful area if you want quiet relaxation.

Toong Shing Hot Spring Chihpen Hotel
Quiet, & room spacious.
No one came to welcome us at the entrance.
Toong Shing Hot Spring Chihpen Hotel is changed to Toong Mao Resorts & Hotel. Next to the hotel is seven eleven. The small town comes to live only after 5pm. In the day nothing much happenings. Nice hot spring bath.
