Fun”
Very nice hot springs up the guanziling mountain. Hotel was fresh and accommodating. Simple yet effective breakfast in the morning. Outdoor hot spring is nice for couples as your wear swimming suits in the hot baths. They also have indoor hot springs and saunas, separate male and female.

Relaxing Stay in Guanziling”
I very much enjoyed staying here. The perk of this hotel is that you get unlimited access to it's hot springs/ spa area. This is the main reason I chose to stay here. Breakfast is provided as well, and I found it sufficient.

staff are friendly.”
i think this is perhaps one of the cheapest hotel that provide more or less the same facilities if intention is spa. staff are very helpful and talkative. however the dinner is not worth it even with discount voucher. i will back to this hotel, minus the dinner.

Mud hotspring- checked ”
Tried this hotel because it offer public hotspring and indoor one. The hot spring facilities is generally good but not exceptional. Location wise, it is excellent. Convenient store just across the street and few restaurants just few minutes walk away. Breakfast is included in the room rate and is Taiwanese breakfast. I like the 担担面 and like the side dish for porridge. And nuggets and fries is definitely a highlight for my kids. It will be good if they serve fried egg. Overall good stay.

Outdated but I came for the pool”
I thoroughly enjoyed the pool, though other aspects were needing attention. The pool is closed on Tuesdays and during lunch hours. During these times and in the evenings, you cannot even lounge in the lounge chairs by the pool, as it’s gated and locked. There’s absolutely no other place for you to go outside and lay around. There are places to sit, but not relax in a lounger. As it was, the loungers were not at all comfortable to lay on. Black mould is on the sides of the building and balconies and desperately need cleaning to remove it. 3 of the spa pools were closed/broken....1 was the fish one where you have them eat the dead skin off your toes. Another was one where the water splashes down on you. The restaurant only allows for 2 or more people as the menu is a fixed set...you have no choices. The menu wasn’t available in English. There were no bedside lamps to read by, nor were there any bedside outlets to plug your cellphone in for charging. There were no bathrobes for guests. Repairs had been done shoddily and it was obvious they paid cheaply for someone’s repair services. Sometimes there were young children screaming and no one asked them to keep their voices down. I came for peace and quiet, so the noisy children were not what I wanted to be around. There was an old, yellowed spare duvet in the closet to use if you got cold. It needed replacing!!! The staff were friendly and helpful, though very limited in their ability to speak English. For a hotel to call itself a resort, I definitely expected better. Breakfast buffet ended at 9, which is always a problem for me as I always sleep in on my vacation so I only went there 2 times. It had lots of choices for Taiwanese, but was lacking for foreigners. The hotel looked better than most places in Guanziling. I did enjoy relaxing by the pool, swimming and using the hot tubs.

Lovely hotel with public hotspring pools”
Our visit was an ultrashort one but we manage to stay and enjoy the hotel facilities. The room was considered to be in good size, though the toilet facility is slight small and dark. The public hotspring pools were big, with both indoor and outdoor pools and a swimming pool. The overall experience is above average and highly recommend to others who want to spend their time in Guanzilin.

Facilities are good”
The environment is clean, staff and the facilities are not bad. But breakfast is just okay. And the price a bit high

decent spa hotel”
The main reason to stay at this place is the variety of different, fairly well maintained spa pools. Rooms on upper floors have nice views as well. The food in the restaurant was passable, but nothing special - there are excellent restaurants just a couple of minutes walk away so I suggest doing most of your eating out. The pool and spa areas get crowded on weekends and holidays, making weeknights the best option for a stay here.

A little old”
The hotel was well located and they had some nice hot springs. The rooms and the hotel was a little old and rundown. The rooms had an old smokey smell.

An Experience to Itself”
We enjoyed the mud hot spring facilities. Our room was spacious. Nice shampoo but bring your own conditioner. Most signs in the hot spring area were in Chinese, and staff hardly spoke English. But you can figure it out. Don't miss the chicken place across the hotel.

Great hot spring ”
Convenient store is just opposite to the hotel. The hotel and the room are quite old and need renovation. The outdoor mud hot spring is amazing.

When we went, there was a stoppage of volcanic mud due to supply issue, hence less points! If not, a no frills, large resort

Old hotel that need refurbishment”
Old hotel. It is great if just come for the hotspring. Don't bother to stay here. Whole place looks spooky and smell moldy. Room is dusty. Had bug bites all over the legs after the stay of which i suspect from the bed. I need to suffer the itchiness and pain throughout the trip.

Appearance of the hotel look great but once went interior, everything is worn out, the mud pool has no more clay for wiping and the facilities are rundowns or spoiled. Breakfast is the worst for all the hotel I stay in

GREAT MUDSPA WITHIN THE HOTEL”
Researched online that it is one of the three famous venues that provide MUDSPA in the world! Had a night stay at Toong Mao Resort (Tainan), being a hotel guest, we have unlimited access to the outdoor spa at our own convenience. There are many different spa pools to try on and explanations were well-displayed in a board. It's a must to try the MUDSPA, there's bucket of mud at the side for spa-goers to apply onto themselves. After the MUDSPA, cleanse yourself well and dip into the cold essential oil spa. The combination is heaven! Will go again for more.
