A cozy and retro stylish hotel”
We enjoyed our stay very much. We missed the bus and the cruise, so we had to reach out to the hotel for the pick-up service. I think it was the Josho-san on the other end of the phone. She arranged the pick-up for us immediately, and kindly reminded us not to miss our bus back in the next morning. All other staffs were nice and friendly. I especially enjoyed the small talk we had during our dinner and breakfast (both delicious). The public bath is relatively small, but the bath is opened 24 hrs, so it's not very difficult to avoid the crowds. Though the Japanese style lakeside room does not come with a full front view of the lake, the location is still very attractive. The environment is relaxing and quiet, not so fancy, with all services and equipment needed. It's pretty much like home.

Clean, simple and great location. Only suggestion is, guests sometimes need a desk or a table and chairs to write notes on or do work. There was no desk in the room. In the public areas the only tales and chairs available for guest use were low lounge chairs and coffee tables.

The hotel is typical an old Showa era hotel, if you want to experience some old school comfort it is perfect, but, if you want something modern and fancy this is not the place for you. I recommend a room with a view of the lake, unfortunately over looking the parking lot but the lake itself is stunning. Staff were friendly and the traditional Japanese courses as delicous as they were beautiful. Nice hot onsen, clean but aged, the only issue was that the showers were cold so again, I had to go old school and use bowls of hot water to wash before my long hot soak.

The hotel is a few minutes walk from the JR bus terminal and right at the lakeside. The staff provided excellent service and the food is very delicious.

Stunning location, warm welcome, fantastic food”
The area is remote with friendly food places, spectacular nature, particularly liked 2 cafes by the lake nearby and the boat trip and walk up Oirase stream. There was a little discrepancy with payment quoted on the web booking which we didn’t question at the hotel as staff had all been brilliant and food locally sourced with huge variety and obviously a brilliant chef

Small and personal rokyan. Exemplary Japanese hospitality from staff. Children love the staff. Lovingly prepared and very delicious Japanese breakfast and dinner. Location is quiet and steps away from lake. It will be perfect if there is a coin laundry in the hotel or nearby.

Lovely hotel with great hospitality”
Thank you very much for your hospitality. Although the building and facilities are old, the tatami mats in the room were very clean and had a nice new smell. There were many types of dishes available, and we were able to enjoy local cuisine. In particular, the grilled salted Hime masu was delicious. The female restaurant staff was very kind and gave us detailed explanations of local events and tourist spots. Thanks to her, we were able to see many fireflies. Lake Towada is a bit deserted, but it is a very beautiful place with nature. The cost performance is the best at 20,900 yen for two people including breakfast and dinner. I highly recommend it.

遊覧船出発口に近く、便利でした。 食事はヒメマスの塩焼き、きりたんぽ鍋、長芋料理など地元の名物を堪能できます。 設備は多少古いですが、問題ありません。 チェックアウト後のお昼御飯用におむすびのサービスもあります。奥入瀬に出かけるのにお昼を食べられるか不安だったので、安心できました（梅のおにぎり２ケ600円、おかずも入れてもらうと1000円です。お高めですが）。

傳統的溫泉飯店，服務人員親切，餐點好吃”
飯店有相當的年紀，從建築物本身和服務人員都可以感覺得出來，不過整潔度很好，沒有奇怪的髒污或味道．入住的時候，服務人員雖然看起來已經是60歲以上的老奶奶，還是要幫我們提行李箱，當然婉拒了奶奶的好意，但從中可以感受到他們即使年事已高還是秉持專業的服務態度．晚餐和隔天的早餐都是在地口味的料理，非常好吃，服務人員即使英文不太ok，但都還是非常熱心的比手畫腳跟我們解釋如何享用餐點．深深的感受到傳統老溫泉飯店的人情味，溫泉浴池不算大，但因為來的時候客人不多，可以一個人獨享澡堂，非常棒．唯一比較差的就是房間裡的浴室有點小，如果不去大眾浴池泡湯的話，在房間裡面洗澡是有點不便．除此之外都算不錯．

飯店地點極佳,離休屋巴士站3分鐘,就在十河田湖畔,要搭遊覽船或步行至乙女像都很近,因為不是賞楓期前往,所以修屋附近很多飯店都是關門沒在營業,也沒看到有人在維護整理,雜草叢生,感覺很不踏實,我們入住的這間飯店是長年營業的,感覺會比較有人氣,設施也都有在維護,飯店的服務人員都是上了年紀的叔叔跟阿姨,非常親切熱情,還沒走進飯店大門就在餐廳落地窗對著我們微笑揮手,飯店雖然有歷史了,但還是維護得很不錯,洋式雙床房正對十河田湖,景觀一級棒,一泊二食方案的晚餐跟早餐都是日式料理,幾乎都是當地的食材,美味且分量十足,在餐廳服務的婆婆好細心周到,連很多小細節都不馬虎,,讓我們都覺得很不好意思了,餐廳落地窗正綴著湖景,一邊用餐一邊欣賞美景,非常輕鬆愜意,很值得再次造訪

傳統舊式日本旅館，大部分服務員乃銀髪一族，所以生活節奏亦隨之減慢，可輕鬆寫意地一邊觀賞十和田湖風景一邊享用日式早晚餐；房間窗外景觀一流，縱然旅館是舊，温泉是小型，但仍能保持十分整潔，員工非常有禮貎，酒店位置優越，近JR巴士總站，下次必定再次入住。

沒有電郵，很難和店方聯絡”
在出發前想問店方一些交通問題，但他們的官方網站並沒有電郵地址可以和他們聯絡，結果在我們到達八戶站想坐JR巴士去十和田湖時，才知原來該段時間沒有JR巴士車到十和田湖。幸好有其他十和田湖區內的酒店司機仗義幫忙，問有那些酒店的車可以載我們到酒店，結果「十和田莊酒店」的司機願意載我們到「十和田湖畔酒店」，車上的一對日藉夫婦遊客也不介意我們跟車。實在是非常感謝他們。 這酒店比較舊，但也算清潔，員工態度很好，晚餐也非常好。無論晚餐、早餐，員工都會用日文向我們介紹各樣東西，雖然我們聽不懂，但也感受到他們的熱情。 我們離開時，因下大雨我們便問大堂的職員借雨傘到巴士站，但他說大堂的雨傘不能借我們，最後提出用他的車送我們到車站。也非常感謝他。 酒店附近風景很好，非常值得遊覽。 酒店有溫泉，但面積很少。
