I have stayed twice at the Townhouse . The location is great and the staff are very friendly. Maastricht is a lovely small city with great food , shopping and local history. We also made a morning trip to Aachen Germany.

Quick check-in process. The basic room was quiet but relatively small. When my husband and I opened our luggage, we almost have no room to walk. Although we were facing the train station, we did not hear any noise. 10-mins walk to the city center. If you have large luggage with you, I'd recommend you to stay in this hotel or other hotels near the train station. Not convenient to walk so long to the city center with luggage because there is no metro/tram in Maastricht.

nice boutique hotel next to central station”
I love small boutique hotels. The Townhouse is located within walking distance from the train station, and not all that far walking from city center. The restaurant/bar and lobby is very chic and cozy, and the rooms are nice and clean with great hot showers!

Stylish, boutique hotel”
The hotel is stylish and arty, fantastic decor. Really lovely reception area and cafe. Free welcome soup and nibbles throughout the day. Staff were helpful and the atmosphere was great. The hotel room was very small. The bathroom was a good size, with a modern shower. On the whole I would say that everything was great about the hotel apart from the cramped room.

Great location and cosy rooms”
The hotel is centrally located, right next to the train station with restaurants and shops within walking distance. The interior is nice and unique and staff is really friendly. What stood out for us is that they offered a cup of soup to welcome us. We would definitely stay here again.

we have liked the location of the hotel at the edge of the city center. there is a very pleasant atmosphere (vibe) in the hotel (personnel, other guest, decoration). the room is not large, but provides almost everything you need: clean and modern bathroom, lcd, very good bed! only thing we have missed were good and different sized pillows, we only had 2 and they were not comfortable. next time i will bring my own!

Chic design, easy access to everything”
One of the better hotels in the Netherlands I have stayed in, and they have won the Dutch hotel awards a few times to back it up. Free soup everyday, very cozy and homely, especially on a day. Close to everything, nice location.

Expensive Shoe Box”
Everyone is raging about the so-called living room, but the guest rooms are so small a shoe box that the management probably felt obliged to provide their guests at least a little extra space to breath and perhaps do some work (no desk in the room). At such a high room rate no water kettle, no coffee maker, no wardrobe, no desk or table big enough to put down a laptop, and noise from the train station at the opposite of the road. On top of that issues at check-in and check-out with totally messed up booking details......
