Amazing Hotel Experience”
Location wise it is very close to Senado Square plus it's not very crowded going up to the hotel. The hotel receptionist is very nice and accommodating, she let us leave our luggage before check in and even after check out for free. The staff at the restaurant are really helpful as well, and the price is affordable. Our room was nice and spacious, heater works well, clean towels, toiletries, water and slippers included for free. We are very satisfied overall with our stay and will definitely book here again if we come back to Macau. Thank you Towns Well Hotel!

“Good location, helpful staff, hard to find restaurant””
Hotel easy to find if you use google map and have hotel's chinese name so you can ask for direction to local Towns Well Hotel 鎮興旅館 (Zhèn xìng lǚguǎn) No 6-6A Calcada das Verdades, Macau City 板障堂街哪咤廟斜巷6至6A號, 澳门市 (Bǎn zhàng táng jiē nǎ zhà miào xié xiàng 6 zhì 6A hào, Àomén shì) Hotel location was near Ruins of St Paul, senado square, lisboa casino. Quite hard to find restaurant here, except you want to eat at hotel's restaurant or Mcd. Location quite good for shoppers, a lot of international brand store arround this hotel, for example : esprit, ecco, nine west, bossini, giordano, sasa, etc Good english speaking and helpfull staff, hotel have vending machine for drink and local sim card.

A Wonderful Hotel”
My family and I stayed for one night at the hotel. Although it's an old hotel but we enjoyed ourselves as the rooms come with large windows, the staffs are helpful especially Yvonne who try to show us the location on the sites and trying to get us taxis on our last day to the airport. Towns Well is situated at the tourist sites of Macau and shopping is easily reach by foot. Sure a recommend place when one is visiting Macau.

Me and my friends enjoyed our 3 night stay.”
Luckily I could speak Mandarin - it really paid off during my stay in Macao. Also, good thing that they hired English, Mandarin speaking staffs at the reception counter but like us, they are also new to Macau City.. therefore, couldn't help us much. The old man was the most friendly and helpful while the mid-age ladies chatting at the reception area are the biggest turn-offs! Everything on the surface is perfect in the room but under the beds - they're not. No problem with hot water, hot shower, aircon - except the remote. Only bath towels and tissues, rubber slippers, automatic kettle are provided. Mostly Chinese programs are on TV. So far, our things are secured inside the room. This hotel is OK for adventurers like us - who prefer sightseeing, shopping & food tasting instead of going to casinos. TIP: Take advantage of free shuttle rides provided by big casino hotels to and from Ferry Terminal. Beware of TAXI DRIVERS who will take you for a long ride. Buses are also very convenient - except you have to pay minimum of MOP3.2 - it will take some time for travelers like us to get use to the transport system. Most Macau people - older ones especially are grouchy. Better seek help from Filipinos in the area.

Superb Hotel!”
It is our first time to go to Macau with my family and relatives. For me Towns well hotel is a great place to stay. Outside of the vicinity, there's a lot of establishment where you can shop, eat and explore. All the tourist spots are close to the hotel. The staff are very accommodating especially the filipino. Since we are the same nationality, its easy to access and communicate with them.. Try to check there website to find out more about this hotel. Enjoy your stay fellas!

Wonderful stay!”
We enjoyed our stay in Towns Well Hotel. The pictures in google map were dated as the hotel was shown as under construction. Nonetheless, it was easily accessible by walking even from Lisbon Hotel. It took us about 10 minutes to stroll there. Nice chilly weather to walk in. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay in this hotel when we travel to Macau!

Much bang for your buck! :)”
We got the double room that came with a HUGE king-size bed! And the bathroom was super roomy too! Basic toiletries (bedroom slippers, comb, toothbrush, toothpaste, hand soap, bath soap, shampoo) provided and replenished by the honest and dutiful cleaning lady! Bath towels and hand towels were changed anew with every new round of housekeeping (we stayed for 4 days in all)! Good sound insulation because we didn't get disturbed by other guests inside the hotel or the human/vehicular traffic outside! And we highly recommend the in-house restaurant for tasty, affordable dishes from as early as 8am to as late as 10.30am! The front desk operates 24/7 (a lady during the day, and a gentleman at night), and was very helpful in giving us sightseeing advice/travel directions, as well as helping us adjust the water heater in our room very promptly (the technician was sent to us straightaway)! We're so glad we chose this hotel, and will definitely stay here again next time we're back in Macau! :)

Excellent Hotel”
If you are not familiar with the Historical Senado Square of downtown Macau, you will have difficulty locating it although it is really very centrally located and extremely accessible to all part of Macau. It is a 2-minute walk to the Tourist Office at Senado Square/Avenida de Almeida Riberio. The hotel staff is very helpful and speak good English. The room is clean and huge for a downtown hotel and the rate I got was almost half of the downtown hotels I stayed in previous visits. I was given two bottles of drinking water every day. There are all kinds of shops, restaurants and food stalls surrounding the hotel. I definitely will stay here again.

Spacious and clean!”
We enjoyed our stay here at this hotel. We found the place very relaxing after a day of walking around Macau. The room is big and so are the beds. Bathroom is also spacious. Though the hotel is a bit old, it is properly maintained and well kept. The location is okay also as it very near Senado Square, about 5 minutes walk only. i would definitely recommend this to others and would also stay again in the future! Thanks Agoda and Towns Well!

Overall, quite a good hotel that value for money”
Once we reached Macau airport, we took shuttle bus, we walked towards the direction of Hotel Lisboa and St Ruins. Once you reached the centre of macau (near to post office), can ask around for the direction of 国华(Guo hua) 电影院 and 哪吒庙 (towns well is near to this two landmark. If you asked local about towns well, they didnt know). But be cautious because there are two 哪吒庙 and we got so confused by different people pointing to all different direction because they are all refering to different 哪吒庙. So its better to ask for direction of 国华电影院 (already closed down but the building is still there) and ask phamarcy (they seems to be more familiar than any passer-by). Btw, the chinese name of Towns well is 镇兴宾馆. Its also good to know the hotel name by chinese because some of them only know it by its chinese name. Once you see 国华电影院,turn into a small alley beside and look for Espirit clothing. The hotel is just beside it. As for the hotel condition, air conditioning is quite cooling. There is water heater provided and private toilet for each room (unlike other hostel where common toilet is used). The not-so-satisfied is of the bed. My friend was complaining that the bed is too hard. The hair dryer (maybe it's only our room) is not hot and there is no mini fridge. A few times, the door system is not so sensitive that we have to get down to ask the staff to activate for us. Its very near to St Ruins and if you know the way, you can walk to the nearest Mc-donald (can ask direction from the staff) and take bus to other places around Macau. The public bus around Macau is very accessible. But take note that the opposite direction doesnt go opposite way and make sure you have coins because they dont give changes.

Walking distance from the Ruins of St. Paul and Senado Square”
Perfect location! It was just a few minutes' walk away from the major tourist sites - Ruins of St. Paul and Senado Square. From our hotel, we were also able to walk to Wynn Macau where we boarded the free shuttle going to Wynn Palace in Taipa. They also have shuttles to the ferry terminals and airport. Information would be on their website. The Tomato Portuguese restaurant (where we had our best meal in Macau) was also just around the corner. The double room is a bit old but it was clean and large enough for 2 people. It does not feel cramped at all - very spacious. If you prefer to have coffee first thing upon waking up, do bring some instant ones since they do not offer complimentary coffee. Also, be ready for a MOP300 deposit and they will return this upon check-out.

Great location once you find it. Quiet room”
Very nice. We had a room towards the top of the hotel, large size room and good value for Macau. It is not near the major casino island but we didn't want that. We wanted to experience the old city and the Portuguese parts, It was perfect for that. We also got on a bus to see the pandas on the other side of Macau which took us past the casinos so they are within reach if that is what you want. I would suggest you look on googlemap for the location of the hotel first as the streets are quite small around there. Better to find on foot than asking a taxi driver (I read before I went that taxi drivers find it hard to find). We got a bus from the airport to the old Portuguese square and it was 5 minutes walk from there just off a main shopping street. We didn't have breakfast there but to be honest you are better off trying one of the local specialities = a sort of sweet egg pastry. Very tasty and cheap street food.

Great hotel near the historical tourist spots”
Coming from the crammed hotel rooms in Hong Kong, Towns Well Hotel was a refreshing stay. It was spacious and clean. The hotel is accessible to the historical tourist spots in Macau like Senado Square and St. Paul's Ruins. Check in time is a bit late though, at 2pm.

nice stay”
read some reviews that the location is the main burden since it's kinda hard to find, but we are lucky that our taxi driver know exactly where it is when showed him the name of this hotel address in chinese writing ! it takes around 80 MOP by taxi from the airport. the location is perfect to some of main touristic spots in macau (st paul ruin, senoda square, few minutes from lisboa and ferry harbour to HK) and lots of shopping venues. room is okay. hot water and AirCon works very well. just the beds are bit hard. but i read that it's common thing you'll find at hotels in Macau/HK. my father also really enjoy the meal we had in the chinese restaurant at the 2nd floor of this hotel. it serves chinese cuisine (yam cha style). good stay, good location, good food. definitely will be back here again.

Marvelous city in Asia”
The hotel looks so small from outside, more likely a motel... But once open the room door, inside is spacious. Bathroom is clean and well maintained. The price of hotels in macau is really not cheap, but compared to other hotels, this one is reasonable. It is located right in the middle of shopping area off senado square, and within minutes walking to the famous heritage of Macau st. Paul's ruin. But it's extremely hard to find foods, the only eyecatching is McD, maybe because spots in Macau is very expensive, thus they sell jewelry almost along the main street, and to find food you have go into small lanes behind buildings. Free shuttle of famous casino is out of reach from here i think, so forget to catch them and try to ride on public bus no. 3 especially when you are bringing luggages. Overall we'd love to stay here again any chance we come to Macau.

Will stay here during my next trip to Macau”
Stayed with my dad in a twin room with ensuite bathroom. For the price, I was satisfied and would come back to stay at this hotel again. Pros: -Location is perfect. Up a hill within Senado Square. You may have difficulties finding it but look out for the Esprit Outlet and the hotel is just behind it. I asked a few shops and was able to locate the hotel without any issues. My room faced some rooftops, but this was not a concern for me. - Walking distance to casinos within Macau Peninsula and most of the sightseeing places. -Bus terminal was just right out Lisboa Casino which is a 10-15 mins walk away. - Cleanliness is up to par in both the room and the toilet. Toileteries were provided free of charge. Water pressure and hot water was good. - Bed was comfortable and room was really spacious. - Water kettle also available. - Put the "Do Not Disturb" sign out, so my room was not made. But I am sure they make the room daily. Cons: - My aircon was making some noises

Good location and big rooms”
The hotel is easy to get to, we took bus No 3 from the ferry terminal (about 2-3 dollar) and got of at the Plaza and then walked about 5 mins to the hotel. Ask the tourist information for a map and ask them to mark out the hotel fr you, also they have free Macau guide book. We went to The Venetien Hotel by the local bus but when we where going back to the city there where no busses in trafick and the line for taxi was so long so we started to walk and got a taxi on the road instead.

comfortable and accessible to everything”
Towns Well Hotel is a clean, comfortable and friendly hotel. There were six of us and we occupied two rooms. Even for three beds in each room, it was still very comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel is accessible to everything. The six of us were happy staying at TWH and will definitely recommend it to friends specially if traveling on a tight budget. And if we go back to Macau, we will stay at the same hotel. I could not comment on the food/restaurants because we did not have a chance to dine at the hotel, we were constantly on the go.

Weekend Stay at Towns Well Hotel”
We stayed for 2 days at Towns Well Hotel and booked 2 rooms. We arrived late at night and found the rooms set-up and ready. With directions found in the internet, we were able to easily locate the hotel. The hotel staff were pleasant to talk to and very accommodating. Luckily the guy at the reception spoke in English and Filipino. Location is the hotel's best-selling feature. We went to Senado Square early in the morning to take pictures and just went back to sleep again....no tourists yet :) Special kudos to the hotel restaurant. It was very late in the evening and we were hungry....with no restaurants open, we tried the hotel. They were just about to close but still accommodated us. The restaurant manager did not speak English but he made sure to call someone who can get our orders. Overall a great stay.....will definitely stay here again.
