The place is nice and clean and the owner with his family are very friendly. There are very good restaurants at the beach nearby. Also, there is a pool and a restaurant 100m up the small hill, witch the guests can use. The place is little remote to the rest of Klong Khong but it's a 10min walk so It's not a big problem. I would definitely recommend it.

Patch of paradise ”
Loved our stay here. We were here in what’s known as the green season so it was really cheap. It had everything that we wanted. Aircon and our own bathroom. It had a mosquito net but we didn’t need to use it at all. The only con that I had was the road noise was quite loud but just pack air plugs if your a light sleeper and you will be fine. The host was really helpful he got us sorted with a scooter within an hour of us being there. He gave us advice when we needed it. Very cool chill place.

Perfect accommodation ”
The accommodation was so cool, nice clean bungalows near the big beach. It's easy to come by motorbike there and enjoy whole koh Lanta.the staff were helpful and in the rain he did make for everybody without Electricity small lamps to enjoy the stay :) I will come back:)

Most amazing owners and cozy place”
The owners were so helpful and friendly, they helpe; us with our boat tickets and also offer cheap longtail boat trips and they know where all the best beaches is to visit while on the island. You can rent a scooter from them for a really good price as well. The guy also knocked on our door one afternoon to give us some fresh coconuts, how sweet ! They really are such lovely people and made us feel welcome.The rooms were big with a mini fridge and AC. It was neat and clean and they offer house keeping as well. The shower was nice and they have hot water. Overall we really enjoyed staying here and I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Perfect little bamboo hut!”
Had a lovely stay! Hotel is located just 300m from the beach and they rent out motorbikes so you can explore the whole island easily yourself. Super clean and comfortable hut.

The owner will remember your name when arrive, it's AC room even though my order was a fan room. Room is new, nice bath, the AC is very powerful, enjoy it at Koh Lanta. About 2 km to the local market before dark time, cheap food and cheap seafood.

Our favourite place to stay in Thailand! ”
We spent 5 nights at Baan Maiphai Lanta and loved it! The staff are super friendly, funny and accommodating. We ate breakfast there every morning - the banana chocolate pancakes are so good! The pool area is perfect for watching the sunset and chilling out. We rented a scooter for 200THB/day and had no problems with it. The bamboo huts are very spacious and clean, they have a mosquito net, good A/C, and a kettle. Highly recommend!

Comfortable and secure hut ”
Enjoyed my 6 day stay here. Ideal if you’re comfortable on a motorbike. I’m not. When the tide was low I walked up to Long Beach, a nice overcast day activity. ‘Taxis’ from Sala Dang were usually 300 baht. Restaurant next door was yummy, clean, and efficient. Beach is a five minute walk and had a couple chill places to watch the sun set.

Great value for money ”
We had a great time at this accommodation. We booked the bungalow with AC and it was so cheap considering how clean, fresh and comfortable it was. Make sure to rent a scooter and enjoy the Island. Everything is easy to reach from here. And finally give the two lovely cats some cuddles...they are super cute and hung out with us in front of our bungalow every day :)

Beautiful bamboo huts, very nice area!”
Beautiful air-conditioned bungalows with their own large bathroom, very clean, cheap motorbikes for rent! Very close to the nearest beach, ideal starting point for the southern beaches or for the national park. Matt's wife also offers laundry service. I would book again anytime! Great location and fun experience!”
We were a couple backpacking and this stay was ideal for 4 nights. Very clean bungalows. No bugs considering we were sleeping in huts outside! Mosquito net was provided on the bed , air conditioning worked great! Such helpful and lovely owners - they got us a scooter and helmets for the duration of our stay at a reduced price. We got laundry done with a quick turn-around. We had access to a sister hotel only 2 minutes from our bungalow. Close proximity by scooter to both Saladan Pier, Old town, Long Beach (our favourite!), bamboo bay etc. The beds were a little hard and at night you could hear traffic off the nearby road - but fantastic facility for the price. You don’t get many opportunities to sleep in a bungalow like these - so I would highly recommend!

Staying here requires a scooter but on lanta you probably have one anyway. If so place is great! AC and fridges and n the huts. Very close to a beach. Better beaches and restaurants reached with scooter.

Great value. Friendly staff. If you have a moped it's ideal. Really fast internet. Nice rooms big fridge AC etc. Only negs are no bar/ Resturant and the water in bathroom smells bad.
