Although the hostel was fairly quiet due to low season it was a very social hostel where I met a nice group of people. Good space to socialise inside and outside. 7 min walk to the beach! Scooters available to hire for a good price :) I think the limited aircon hours was the only bad thing, if I wanted to come back for a quick rest in the afternoon it was a struggle because the room was so hot. Even when the aircon was on I feel it wasn’t cold enough and the others in my room commented on this too. I should have really just told the staff this. Don’t let that put you off as I still think it’s a brilliant hostel.

Everything was great, very clean, staff was super friendly! And the breakfast was amazing, everyday something different and many choices, pancakes, fresh fruit, ice tea and juice. It was also just a few minute walk to the beach.

The staff is amazing, especially Jell - one of the kindest persons I met during my trip! The rooms are nice, breakfast is really good and it's only a five minute walk to Long Beach. This is my second stay at Best Stay and would definitely go here again!

I really liked it here!! The main lady at reception was so amazing and kind! One of my favourite hosts! The location is a bit in the middle of nowhere but close to Long Beach. The beds are a bit hard, but they're hard everywhere in Thailand. But they're nice and private. Facilities are great. I was very happy with this hostel, and I definitely recommend it while in Koh Lanta.

I really enjoyed my stay there as everything was perfect !! The lady is so nice and helpful, i really thanks her...! I was in a 4 beds dorm with shower and toilet, it was very clean, hostel provides a lot of facilities as thai/japanese restaurant, bycicle or motobike rental, books, etc... the team is always there and also the breakfast included is so good: eggs your way, toasts, jam, tea, fruits and more... just fabulous ! I will definetely come back !

The hostel is very nice. Clean, rooms with lockers and bathroom inside. They offer the regular services: laundry, transportation booking, motorbike rental. They have a restaurant and breakfast is free (a variety of food available). But the best by far is the vibe the owner have created in her team, which translates to the guests. The woman is super caring (she would prepare some breakfast for me even I woke up later) and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Loved this hostel! Koh Lanta was very quiet and had very few travellers but I met the best people there! We would all eat out and hangout at night. Movie nights and nice swings in common area. Apbie is always looking for ways to improve the hostel and making sure you’re enjoying your stay! If you’re looking for partying, this is not really the place. I heard Blanco had daily beach parties.

Breakfast was GREAT! Fruits, toast, pancakes, sausages, eggs done your way, one time they even had chicken nuggets! Also punch and green tea is offered. The lady at the counter was so friendly and sweet - she made the whole place feel like home and I saw her interact with guests in such a friendly manner, taking pictures with them and giving them advice! Beds are comfy and changed at your request, and it is walking distance from the beach with KILLER sunsets. Really enjoyed this place.

You will get bog bunk bed and clean toilet. All the locker is safe. The owner and staff are super Thai-friendly ever! The breakfast is more than good for the hostel price! I will definitely come back here again!

Convenient, light premisies. Good breakfast. Nice staff, some of the workers espesially lovely. Big plus for free bikes. Staying in eight person dorm when all the beds taken, it got poky and tight with space, as no place to hang the wet towels etc. (Easy to fix by few racks/hooks.) I send my warm thank-yous!

The hostel is very fresh and modern. Nice common area and free coffe/tea. The restaurants have vegeterian options for only 60 Bath. Also generous breakfast is included. Nice rooms and the manager Jell takes really good care of you. She is very caring and do extra things you normally not expect. You can't ask for more!

Awesome hostel!! The most friendly staff I’ve ever experienced hands down...when my friends and I arrived, they gave us iced fruit punch to quench ourselves from the scorching sun. They are so accommodating, and the breakfast is sooo good for the value of the money spent. Jell the front desk employee was soooo sweet! The hostel opened about 1 month ago so the facility is brand new which is nice. Everything is clean and it’s less than a 5 minute walk from Long Beach! The only con I would say is the beds are really hard, but when I spoke to Jell she lent me her soft bed liner with no hesitation! She didn’t have to do that. Love this hostel, definitely a must stay if you visit Koh Lanta!!!

Loved the manager (shel) one of the nicest humans. Very accommodating hosts. Really good breakfast. Eggs to order, usually a Thai dish as well. 5 minutes walk to the beach. I liked this place so much I ended up staying 5 nights when my original plan was one night.

Bad staff”

After check out staff dont let you stay in the lobby. I was preparing my next destination and they told me i couldnt use wifi. Its the first time I see this. In general, staff is not friendly, they need to improve treat with guests.
