This is an Amazing find. A family run Gem 💎 situated up a hill in beautiful lush green surroundings. A short walk from the main road. It has a very convenient 7/11 and lots of excellent beach bars and restaurants within walking distance. My family and I are a group of 10 who will definitely returning next year. We were greeted by Mai and Tai with such warmth. The bungalows are exceptionally clean. The beds and pillows are big and comfy. All bungalows have their own roof terrace with fantastic views of the sea and sunset. We have all hired scooters and arranged day trips with Mai very simply at good prices. Breakfast which is included in the price is exceptional. Fresh fruit, fresh filter coffee. Full English, cereal, pancakes. And a salad bar. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Koh Lanta. The clean fresh swimming pool, is a real bonus on a hot day. The accommodation is also child friendly.

Awesome resort and staff”
Most friendly and helpful owners we have ever met. They give us motorbike for free during our stay and even borrowed SIM card when we leaved to contact taxi driver at the airport. They arranged everything we asked, transfers and so on. Location was excellent, 5 min walk from the beach and place was so peaceful. Pool was very beautiful. Villas were clean and the own roof top terrace was excellent with a nice view to the sea. Breakfast was so tasty and variable. Especially thai omelet was very tasty and yummy. Would definitely recommend this resort for everybody! So sincere and genuine people at this resort. We miss this place already.

My husband and I got married in Koh Lanta, so we thought it perfect to have pool villas for us and our friends. We spent 4 nights in a group of 9 people at Chalaroste. The Resort is beautiful, the pool is great. The boss and staff were so very attentive to us and made up our bed for our wedding night. We enjoyed the size of the resort. With only 9 pool villas it really is a private resort which we shared with another big family group. It is not quite easy to find, because the street leading up to it is small and doesn't really look like a street. But it makes the resort much more special being "tucked away" up the hill. Like a secret resort. Thank you to the owner and the staff for making our stay so very special

Perfect stay”
Beautiful villa with great view. The owner is super friendly and tried his best to accommodate all your needs. Free motorbike is provided, you can easily explore the small town without hassles. The American breakfast menu is fixed, you will get the same set of breakfast everyday but it doesn't contribute a minus point because the breakfast is freshly prepared by the staff, the taste is good! Few mosquitoes observed in the room, remember to close the door and windows. Overall is a pleasant stay, will definitely come back again.

Awesome hosts in a small resort, easy to find up the hill near the 7/11. Very clean with a nice pool. Definitely rent a motorbike to explore the island and find the quieter beaches towards the south of the island. The hosts were excellent in arranging our onward travel to Ko Lipe after storm pabuk disrupted our original travel plans. Would definiteky come back!

Family Hosted Hotel - very cozy”
Very friendly Family which is running the place tidy and with love. As the beach isn’t that nice, their pool is a blast :) everything you need is close: great restaurants (try seagull) , massage, laundry and 7/11. Served breakfast is good and has everything you can wish for (except fresh juice (but that is everywhere). Note that besides of breakfast no other meals are served (restaurant options at 5min walk). Hotel is located next to the jungle, so go up the terrace and have a glance. You’ll find macaques in the trees!

Amazing Service, Great Room and Pool. ”
Me and wife have been to a couple of hotels in Koh Lanta and this one gave us the best experience. Amazingly caring and on the ball staff, great room, great pool and decent location. Because it's not a beach front property you do have to walk a bit to the beach and bars but either you don't mind a bit of a walk or you get a scooter like we did.

The complex is situated around 10 minutes walk uphill away from the main road. Villa has a private rooftop seating area where you can watch the sunset. The pool was a good size with plenty of sunbeds and parasols as well as inflatables for the pool which was fun. The villa was smaller than others we had stayed for a fraction of the price however it was well equipt. The aircon was particular strong which was greatly appreciated after being out in the hot weather. The staff were all friendly. Breakfast was ok but would prefer to be able to order fresh rather than buffet but that’s a personal preference. Also only instant coffee and for £55 per night we hoped for at least filter coffee. The other thing was the mosquitos. We do understand that we are in the jungle and that mosquitos are common however, we must have had at least 50 mosquitos in our room during our stay. We never leave the door or windows open. They were getting in through a poorly sealed door. This was disappointing

Christmass trip to koh Lanta”
Place is not front of beach but opposite to road around 300 m as quiet place. 150 m we had 7 eleven as helpful for shopping. We have many restaurant close hotel and we try different one everyday for lunch and dinner. We can rent or trip directly from hotel. Key point is roof top in top of each room for drink and Sun light. Good place

So happy that we changed to this hotel. Room was big and very clean. Nice view to ocean from the roof top. Well maintained pool area. Good service for everything from renting a scooter to ferry tickets.Very nice staff. Definitely recommend the place and can’t wait to visit again:)))))))

Located on a hill you have a great sunset view. Hosts are very helpful and nice people. Renting a scooter is recommended to be fast and flexible. Breakfest is phantastic. Pool is very nicely located in the center and well maintained. We will come again :-)

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and May was extremely accommodating, arranging transportation for tours, recommending places to go, airport transfers. I cannot say enough about her hospitality. Loved that the beach was walking distance from the resort.

Wonderful family run resort”
Small quiet resort with a pool. Just up from the main drag keeps this venue quiet but we’ll situated to get to what you need. Scooters available to rent to get around the island. Mai and her staff are perfect hosts and nothing is too much trouble. Lovely breakfast cooked to your taste, fresh fuit hot coffe and eggs done well. Cleaning and maintenance if you need it. Loved our stay thank you guys xxx
