Very noisy area. Extremely small rooms. Some of the staff were friendly, others just seemed as if they hated their jobs. The breakfast area was too crowded. You have to wait in line to get your tater tot’s, greasy sausage and hard boiled egg. At least the bed was comfortable.

Cheap and spacious for Manhattan ”

Good deal but far west of midtown . I won’t book it anymore . Make sure u hav a good deal of u book this hotel because not that cheap !

I booked the hotel more than 2-3 months before my journey. We were a group and the split the group between 2 hotels.

You couldn’t ask for friendlier staff! ”

This is a very conveniently located hotel, even if it looks a little out west of the centre of Manhattan it is really only a short walk from everywhere! The room was definitely compact but very clean and it was comfortable. There are some building works going on at the back of the hotel a new building going up on the neighbouring lot - but you are in midtown Manhattan - you did not come here to sleep!! The best thing about this hotel was the staff - they were all so friendly and helpful!! Housekeeping staff had been working fast on the day I arrived so that I was able to check into my room at noon!! I don’r think i’ve ever seen quite so many genuine smiles from an entire hotel staff. They just seemed to smile all the time! I got a warm welcome (and an introduction the the coffee and hot water which is available 24 hours) and I got a cheerful, chatty send off (which made me smile as I stepped out into the rainy day!) They were lovely!!!!!

Small rooms but clean”

The room was small but nice and clean. The breakfast is fantastic and only a few blocks from the hub of times square. No mini-bar/fridge in the room.

+Stuff was very nice and helpful +Good localization (10 min walk to times Square) +/- nicd room but too small and carpet should be washed. - typical american breakfest, No fresh vegetables, No normal bread. Mostly unhealthly food like: tost, sweet flakes, waffles, sweet jogurty, artifical eggs (no taste) etc.

Very convenient for cruise terminal. Walked down to it 2 blocks easy. Not good breakfast and small rooms it was ok for one night though.

If you bought your unlimited ride metrocard, use bus#50 for east-west mobility. It's enough frequent, at least for me.

Reasonable accommodation at Hell's Kitchen”

Few of the pros that I applicable to us; the hotel is walking distance to nearby subway station, lots of nice restaurants around the neighbourhood, breakfast provided by the hotel are reasonably ok to start your day, unlimited supply of teas and coffee, rooms are clean and quiet at night.. And the only cons that bother us is not much seats at the lobby for the breakfast. Hope they can do something about it.

Value For Money But Need A Bit Walking To Subway”

Value for money accommodation in Manhattan with decent breakfast. The bed is comfortable. However, there is a need for a 10 mins walk to the nearest subway station and Times Square. The room is also pretty small and there is no walking space after the placement of luggage.

Overpriced, terrible location and tiny room”

The room was tiny, no closet or a place to unpack your clothes. While we were there construction across the street was very loud and it started around 7:30 in the morning. The room smelled like mildew and it was very cramp, I had to use the window sill to put some of my things and the motel had already placed the coffee maker on the small sill. The breakfast room was also small and people had to sit on benches to eat their breakfast because there wasn't enough places to sit. The hotel was located in an industrial part of town although if you walked two or three blocks there were places to eat and drink. The sub way was about 3 blocks away. The hotel was situated across the street from a Salvation Army and I heard yelling from there late at might. While I felt comfortable walking around midtown NY, I didn't feel as comfortable walking around this hotel after dark.
