The staff were amazing and the hotel was very clean. Patrick the concierge went out of his way to assist us with anything we needed. I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Paris.

Very good location, just 1 block (2 mins walk) to Champs-Elysee. The most impressive is the Concierge named Mr.Frank. He is extremely nice person.

Delighted to share the experience of one of the very good properties in prime location of Paris, Hotel Balzac. With just couple of minutes of action, it was an excellent location, where one never missed any action in the heart of Paris, Champs Elysees. Our room was comfortable and quite clean. Staff was very cordial and prompt in their service. It was a good breakfast but the breakfast space was something that can be worked on as it is a small place right next to reception, which would be better if expanded. It was just a two-three minutes walk from the metro station and well connected to the entire town. Overall, a very good experience and would totally recommend it to all looking to stay in the heart of Paris.

Ups and downs - overall positive ”
The hotel needs a revamp, as stated by other reviewers so I will not dive into that. For our weeks stay we have a fantastic time at the hotel. Majority of the staff were friendly, only one doorman that was more interested in his phone than assisting us. Compliments should go to the breakfast staff especially Patel who made us feel comfortable, we were there with our twins who were 16 months old. I would recommend the hotel, if you ignore the revamp that is needed.

Fantastic Botique Hotel with the best location, fantastic breakfast and the absolute best service especially from Christopher who went over and above the call of duty to make sure we enjoyed our stay in Paris. Thank you so much. I would go back for sure the next time I visit Paris.

Very convenient location and lovely staff. Sadly one or two irritating issues. Firstly, if you stay longer than a few days make sure your door key is properly coded for your stay. We had to ask on four separate times to have new keys to let us into our room, to be finally told that the previous keys were incorrectly coded for the wrong duration. The room safe was temperamental as it eventually turned out the battery was low. It took two attempts to resolve this and a rather scary 1 hour before we were due to leave for the airport, again we could open the safe to retrieve our passports. The front desk staff were very friendly (and embarrassed) and had to call the manager. All resolved in the end and we had our passports in time! A lovely hotel with ‘character’ and the location is excellent.

Very good location, close to Champs Elysees, quite convenient. But the Wifi is a disaster, and the room has no signals. Four years ago, they still had Macaron, but now, even no water is provided. The view is really bad, the room is quite dark. Can't believe this is a 5-star hotel

What a disappointing experience!”
Requested a quiet room. Prepaid weeks in advance. Was issued a tiny room next to someone who was up ALL NIGHT talking very loudly on her phone and to other people in the room. We complained multiple times with no avail. The temperature in the room was either cold or stagnant. Very dated hotel. There is Paris decor and then there is Paris Brothel. AVOID. There are too many great hotels in Paris to stay somewhere like this. Never again.
