Location wise, the hotel is perfect as it is right next to Kyoto station, and is highly accessible to all the key sightseeing locations. Also there is a mall with a huge Don Quijote located right opposite the hotel, and several convenience stores right next to the hotel. Amenities wise, the hotel is clean and comfortable - nothing to nit pick about as well. They also provide various complimentary toiletries (mouthwash, moisturiser etc) at the lobby in addition to the basic ones found in the room. However, just a small note that toilet might be too small for people who are taller as it felt quite cramped even for a 1.6m person. Lastly, the onsen was clean and safe too - an additional passcode is required for the women’s bath and it was well equipped with all the toiletries you need. The complimentary cup noodles from 9pm to 11pm was delicious as well.

Best location next to Kyoto Station, as well as the shopping district/food”
I usually look for hotels that are as close to the station as possible when I'm in Japan. Hotel Elcient Kyoto was called El Inn Kyoto when we first went, and we thought everything was clean and very straightforward. The rooms were a great size with all our luggage, and made it convenient to jump around from the Fushimi Inari to all food/sightseeing in Gion. We'll definitely come back as it was so convenient even with a lot of luggage.

Excellent location, spa facilities, clean room but small”
3 mins walk from Kyoto station so excellent location if you need access to shinkensan, subway and buses. Lots of food options in Kyoto stations. There's a 711 convenient store on the same street and Lawson opposite the hotel. Lobby is nice. Spa open bath on 2nd floor free for hotel guest. The room is small but clean with everything I need. I will stay there again if I ever come back to Kyoto.

Loved the onsen on Level 2. Love the free cup noodles given out nightly at reception area. Loved the free skincare corner at reception area for hotel customers. Double room was small. But bed was comfy, pillows very hard though. Toilet was spotless and had shower and cute bathtub option in one. Windows had blackout sliders which I really found useful to cut out sound outside and morning light.

Free cup noodles every night”
I made a mistake by booking a smoking room for a non-smoking room. I would like to thank the front desk staff who allowed me to make my change on the spot and furthermore an early check in to the room. The free cup noodles every night made up for my no breakfast plan and there was a Don Quixote store nearby for some budget shopping. Very close to public transportation nearby.

Great value for money ”
The hotel is just 2 mins walk from Kyoto station and there is a bus terminal to Kansai Airport and Osaka. Room is clean and quiet. What I love most is the Bath House. There are various amenities you can choose and they provide 雪肌精 for skincare. Overall, I will definitely come back here for my next stay.

If you looking for a hotel that very near in station this is the best hotel I recommend to you guys. Very clean and very near in station and also there's a lot of food near in this hotel because this hotel is very near in station. In station there's a lot of restaurants.

Great hotel”
This is the best hotel so far on my trip in japan. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I forget that lady receptionist name. Her passion in service us on the kyoto direction and hotel facilities is great. The hotel located just in front of kyoto station and avanti mall. This is so convenient to go everywhere. The onsen and free ramen in the hotel is a very plus point. Very recommend this hotel for those are traveling to kyoto.

rooms are so clean, service is nice, staff are willing to help with nearly everything we need, and the sauna is really nice and clean, breakfast is so good and the location is just 3mins walk to kyoto station, i will definitely choose this hotel next time i go there

A perfect stay”
Located just steps from Kyoto Station, the hotel is super convenient with many shops and restaurants at our choice. The hotel is well kept and facilities are up to date. We started for three days and very much enjoyed it. The hotel provides free Japanese-style hot tub (大汤浴), we used it every day. It was the best experience in our stay. Will definitely back if we re-visit Kyoto in the future.

The hotel is a short walk away from the main Kyoto station! Really convenient location as it is easy to travel around! Even though the room is small, it has everything we need and there was creative use of the space to ensure that guests have everything they need even with the small space. Particularly like the idea of the in-house onsen as it is convenient to just have a quick soak after a long day without having to worry to travel back to the hotel!

Loved everything but the pillows”
Onsen facility was great, location super convenient, hotel is generous with supplies. Only complaint is the pillows are way too hard. I saw reviews noting this earlier but ignored them as I usually don't mind harder pillows, but these were the hardest, most uncomfortable pillows I have ever used.

Good Location”
Good location, clean and new This hotel is located next to Kyoto station we can just cross the road from the station. They provide self laundry, free cup noodle from9-11pm. Hot bath for free. Sure we will come back here again.

This is an amazing place because of the location. Nice and clean like most Japanese business hotels and easy to access as it is literally across the street from Kyoto Station. Book if you have the option.

Amazing convenience and comfort”
Super Convenient, located right next to Shinkansen exit of Kyoto Station. Very new and clean rooms. Late night cup noodles, hot bath, and self service laundries (very convenient for long stays). Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kyoto.

Love the hot spring (towels are provided), very clean, free cup noodles during 9-11pm (I am not a big fan but the hotel is very considerate), staffs are super friendly. Our entire family like it a lot.

if you come from Osaka by Airports bus, bus stop is in front of hotel Hotell near JR station, many restaurants and shopping around Perfect for shot stay and move on Hotel new, clean, big room, and have public bath

I booked the hotel as the last minute of the trip because I couldn't decide that I 'll sleep at Kyoto or Osaka but luckily I made a right decision. The hotel is near the station and surrounding with shops and restaurants and also bus terminal. Hotel also has Japanese spa , so I could relax myself after a long travel. It's nice to stay here.
