Hotel La Residence was perfect for the weekend away in Lyon”
The hotel was absolutely perfect for my weekend away in Lyon. The location is fantastic - in the centre near shops, easy access to main sights, and easy walk from the main train/bus station. The room was sparkling clean, bright and very comfortable. It was fitted with all amenities such as minibar, AC, open window, bathroom accessories. I am very grateful to the front desk staff who made my stay so wonderful - thank you.

Fantastic Find in the Heart of the City”
It has been a long time since I have been this content with a hotel. We booked in a rush, but were pleasantly surprised by the quality we found here. The location is in the heart of the action, and the staff is without equal. The room was spotless, and we had cold drinks and a hot shower in our room.

decent stay during the EURO2016”
I found the hotel 2 days before the Hungary-Portugal EURO2016 game which was played in Lyon. For that money, it was an excellent choice. Otherwise, without the EURO2016 I wouldn't have booked this hotel for that money. Very friendly, english-speaking staff, excellent location, good parking possibility: 3 mins by foot.

good, solid, standard 3 star accommodation”
I misread the features and thought it was closer to the centre. It was 2 stops by metro or a 20+ minute walk… As it was a very short trip I would have wanted be more central but still - it was a pleasant area and a perfectly good place to stay. However for breakfast worth the short walk down to place Belcourt as the coffee is not so good.

the one room they sold was for the disabled with a bathroom accordingly. Not that great if the toilet, washbasin and shower is all one room. of course this was not declared. we stayed anyway as the location was ok.

Superb location”
The hotel is located in a pedestrian mall right in the middle of the city - pretty hard to beat. The free wifi was fast, and the air conditioning was excellent for particularly-hot summmer days. There's a city bike hire station around the corner, it was a great way to see the city, most of which is flat and with well-separated bike lanes. The hotel and its furnishings are perhaps a little dated, but comfortable nonetheless.

The hotel is right on one of the main walking streets in Lyon and therefore close to shops, restaurants, bars and the tourist destinations. There is off-street parking a few blocks away. Breakfast is sparse and you are better off going to the patisserie over the road.

Lovely hotel situated at center and great service.”
the hotel is in the center of city, which is easy to access to all major attractions but quite surranding. the hotel owners are very kind and helpful; he even rided with us to the parking garage and showed us the way in person!! we have a triple room, which is spacie and the bathroom is big. we were really enjoyed the stay, and definitely recommend this hotel to you.

the hotel is located on the pedestrian shopping mall. you can park and drop your bags then park under the main square not far away. rooms are basic but comfortable and roomy. free wifi. breakfast at euro 8 was standard buffet fair.

OK hotel in Lyon centre”
Centrally located, close to Vieux Lyon and Gare de Lyon Perrache. Nice & clean; balcony leading onto pedestrian street, large bathroom and separate toilet which is nice when you are three people! Bed was quite hard and there was some noise from street at night (only talking/shouting, no traffic). Breakfast not exciting. Altogether we were OK satisfied.

This is a wonderful little hotel right in the centre of Lyon, within walking distance to everything of interest. Located in a pedestrian street, it is very quiet. The rooms are very clean, spacious and well-appointed. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Very good value for the money. We will definitely choose this hotel again when traveling to Lyon.

Excellent choice for a short stay, 150 meters from Bellecour and close to all business areas, quiet hotel with well equipped room. Good value for money.

Très bel hotel non loin de la place Bellecour. Décorer avec gout et relativement moderne, la chambre est spacieuse et très bien isolée. Définitivement un hôtel que je recommande.
