Amazing stay”

The staff was incredible! They were so nice every time they saw us. I loved the quick shuttle from the different parts of this large resort. Our room was amazing. It was great to jump right in the pool from our room

Could be better without BUGS!”

I really want to give this hotel a good review. The property is beautiful and the location is excellent. The rooms are spacious and well-decorated, the pool was stunning, and the food was delicious. HOWEVER the hotel seems to have a bug problem. I understand that bugs are going to be common in a tropical environment, but I expect a luxury hotel to put forth more effort in combating this. On the first day that I arrived I noticed a line of ants crawling through the seam of my window. The hotel staff cleaned it up but the ants returned 2 days later. Then on my last night there was a GIANT COCKROACH crawling around my bathroom. It scared me half to death because I had been about to enter the shower when it darted across the floor. It is not a pleasant experience to be naked and afraid. The hotel staff should be spraying their rooms for bugs on a regular basis, not just when a customer complains.

Beautiful location”

Great location with private beach and nice swimming pool although complex is hilly which makes it strenuous to walk between facilities in the heat but golf cars are available for transport. Food is not at the quality-level you would expect from a 5 star resort ...but prices are.

The best part of our trip!”

The entire staff here went above and beyond in everything they did. The room and view was breathtaking and the the entire resort was spotless. Definitely worth getting the ocean view with private pool too. We both got the Thai massages which were amazing and they even ended our session with tea seated outside overlooking the ocean. To top it off we decided to take the Thai cooking class they offered there at the resort and it ended up being. More than I could ever imagine. The chef and staff beautifully presented the ingredients, showed us step by step how to make 3 dishes, and we enjoyed our cooking after each was made. Mouthwatering flavors to boot! There’s no doubt we will be back!

Great resort in Lanta”

Great resort with great pool and love the beach reggae bar, Amazing shower with a view in the sea view rooms. Hotel food was good mostly. Staff could have been a little more attentive but forgive them as end of the season.

Amazing stay!!!”

The best service ever! They care so much that everything is good for you. They remember your orders, they smile and welcoming. The breakfast is wonderful, watching amazing view. Best beaches just few min walk. Reagge bar is absolutely perfect for sunset and casual dinner, fire show is playing on the rocks for you to watch. I took the pool access room and it was worth it! I can only recommend you to stay here. It was just perfect!!! :)

Simply the best”

Beautiful and quiet hotel, with access to a small private beach and to a larger public beach. Great swimming pools, especially for the rooms with direct access. The rooms were spotless and the service great. The breakfast buffet was excellent and plentiful. Really nothing bad to say about this place!

FANTASTIC”

Loved every minute of out stay at Crown Lanta. We were offered an upgrade to one of the villas and it was fabulous! Wished we had stayed here longer. The staff were all so lovely and the island of Koh Lanta was all up one of our favourite places in Thailand. Highly recommend Crown Lanta :)

Lots to like with some room for improvement”

Stayed here for a week and really enjoyed my stay. The resort itself is big, with a lot of trees, plants and good views. Restaurants and bar on site are great, the pool is very nice and the small private beach is a nice change as well. All staff are very friendly and always smiling and it is easy to rent a motorbike or arrange transport. Breakfast is very good with, again, very nice staff working there. I stayed in different rooms and do have to say that some of the cheaper rooms are a bit tired and could use a renovation. Furniture is scratched and old and the garden view rooms are, while quite big, a bit empty and one had a rainshower that was not working. Having said that, the more expensive rooms are better, with better furniture and more decoration in the room itself. I guess you get what you pay for.

The staff, the kindness, the Thai architecture, the amazing food and cleaness - are like nothing else we have seen before. It really is a special place. Thank you Crown Lanta hotel, we had an amazing honey moon!

Nice rest ”

We spent 4 days there. The location is good, the sunset bar has an incredible view, the restaurant is great, and the beach is 100m away. The private beach is cool but small and rocky. My only negative point is about the maintenance. The airco was not working well for 2 days and the phone was dead. It took too long to fix it! Without phone, no pickup and the access between the rooms and the entrance is long and not especially enjoyable by foot... Good trip anyway

Great Hidden Resort”

The pool access room was great. The reggae bar has a great sunset cocktails. The staff was very friendly. There is a shuttle that takes you up and down the hill, from the lobby, to the top of the cliff where restaurants and other rooms are. We will be back!

Excellent service, good location, fantastic experience ”

We had offered to get our room upgrade with 1000bath for room with access pool. Because this is low season and not much thing going around we spent a lot time in ours room. The room so fantastic with great pool. The staff really friendly even housekeeper and technician will greet u. The receptionist so great even let us to check in early and when check out they even taking our photo together and give free drinks. Breakfast just ok but staff at restaurant very helpful. I even see their staff entertain fussy guest very calmful. This resort just great with private beach and nice view around Cons: 1)the swimming pool at our room not very clean. Maybe because its big so the maintainence might difficult. I easily get allergic with dirty swimming pool. 2)the resort quite big, so need to walking a little bit

gorgeous resort ”

Very secluded but didn’t need to leave the resort- had everything we needed! It was very safe and romantic! Super clean and room service was fantastic. Would definitely recommend the room with the walk out pool! Hope to be back in the future! Amazing resort

The rooms are nice, but not fantastic. The food was great (both breakfast, lunch and dinner). The hotel has its own beach, small but really nice. The pools are both nice, one is more quiet and peaceful and the other one more lively. This is a lovely hote, but not the perfect fit when having small children as the pool is next to the balcony/ terass and there are a lot of stairs. The staff were amazing, they made our stay truly fantastic. Thank you so much! We will come back.

Pool access”

Located in northern part of island, and a bit far from town center. Overall hotel amenities and service quality is excellent. I stayed there with my 2 kids, and we very much enjoyed time inside, specially room with pool access is great for us to spend the relaxed time with my kids. Private beach is also available but it is not the good one, so you better choose hotel in the middle or southern part of island.

We stayed for 5 nights and it was a great experience. Crown Lanta offered for a reasonable price a room upgrade to ocean view room. These rooms are really great and have a marvellous view. Breakfast was good, a lot of choice. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
