Great Hostel, especially for solo travelers. ”
I booked one night at Hub of Joy and ended up staying 4 nights.. I really loved the bed, the location and the stuff.. even the breakfast was great compare to other places I stayed at in Thailand. It's only 3-4 min from long beach, located on the main street. (a bit noisy if you sit down outside) the hostel provided towels and clean sheets, the stuff was super nice and helpful, they even made everyone a smoothie couple times for free.. Just one thing I didn't like about the hostel is that it's pretty much two separated buildings which are 5-10 meters away from each other and there is no real area to lounge and gather with everyone. I stayed in the first building which had no reception and when I try to work from the first floor it was just too hot (they have A/C but they never turn it on!) you can still go to the reception area where breakfast is served, but it's just a bit weird of a seperation.. Other than that, I highly recommend hun of Joy!

Fantastic hostel & amazing staff”
This hostel is fantastic, the dorms rooms and clean and the beds are comfy. Toilets are nice with good facilities, and the common area is lovely. It’s located just across form long beach which is a great place to watch the sunset. The hostel can provide motorbike rental at a reasonable price, and bicycle rental for free! However the best thing about this hostel was the staff. They were the most friendly, kind and welcoming people I’ve met in Thailand! From offering advise on things to do, to helping me out when I was feeling under the weather, they were fantastic. Could not rate this hostel more highly!

Hub of Joys was easily the best hostel I've ever stayed in. The staff were unbelievably wonderful; so helpful and friendly and kind! the beds were comfortable with space at the head to store your stuff, bathrooms were clean (very few showers but that was never a big issue!). for breakfast they ask you how you want your eggs cooked which was super nice! because of the amazing staff, the atmosphere was really social and warm with the other travellers. hiring a bike at the hostel made it really convenient to sightsee, and the hostel is a three minute walk from the beach :)))

Loved everything! Great location easy to get anything. Beach is so close! The best thing was I met many nice solo travellers here and made friends. It was the best thing! Breakfast here is great! (Including price) They give you towel for free :) Clean room and clean bathroom :) Popcorn and snacks and coffee or tea for free all day! I’ll be back soon! Thank you so much!

So far its the best hostel for me perfect for solo travelers , you will meet lots of people! Its kinda of second home. I had a motorbike accident , they took care of me daily during my stay with love and smile , they were very caring and friendly as well The place is clean , the common area is perfect , 3 mins to the beach , you can book , rent motorbikes , transportation , trips .. Highly recommend!

Great hostel in Long Beach ”
Great hostel and excellent staff always willing to help. Bike rentals on premises and right in the heart of Long Beach with easy access to the beach. Excellent breakfast and clean facilities. Also very easy to meet fellow backpackers. Would highly recommend if you’re staying in Koh Lanta.

Feels like home”
This hostel in Koh Lanta offers everything you need! But the unique part of it, is there natural way to make you feel like it is your second home. Clean rooms and sanitary, great breakfast, free bycicles (mountainbikes), good vibe with lovely people. But don't forget the free popcorn out of the machine. The smell leads you directly to the lobby. Oh and the lobby also has a sofa, which was already 4 months ago for me! The food is really nice, and it's funny how she makes jokes every time. See you next time!!

If you come to Koh Lanta you have to stay here this hostel Is amazing!! Amazing staff that make you feel welcome and at home. Amazing breakfast, buffet, eggs, toast, sausages, cakes, crossiants! Tea and coffee, biscuits and popcorn free all day! Cosy rooms with lovely beds with curtains! 2 mins walk from the beach! Cheap food near by and at the hostel! You wont be disappointed!

All the staff there so lovely, treated everybody like family, really set a great atmosphere, and hostel was very sociable. V comfortable and new and clean also. Free breakfast was great, eggs cooked fresh and other treats too. I stayed 3 extra days!

Very clean, very comfortable, really lovely owners carrying very much about their guests. Everything perfect..but a hostel can't choose their guests.. So the USA idiots in my room is not the fault of the hostel.

the highlight of this long stay was the staff before all. sooooo lovely, friendly, kind, and helpful !!!!! the lobby is so nice to chill with everybody and cookies all day long for free yassss. thank you so much Tong and all your lovely staff. ill defenitly come back !!!

Loved spending 6 nights at Hub of Joys. The staff is so amazing and friendly. They will help you with everything. Breakfast was heaven every morning and it's only 10 min walk to the beach. Can I go back? Miss the staff!

Great place to stay”
This hostel is located very close to the beach and is near by resturants and a couple of some minimarts. The staff here are extremely helpful and the food made here is amazing! There was always plenty of free fruit, cakes, sticky rice, tea and coffee during the day which makes your stay very comfortable. Tours and ferries can be booked through the hostel at a discounted price as well. I would stay here again for sure!

Had a good time at Hub of Joys. It was recommended to me and I would recommend it to others. Ko Lanta doesn't really have one central place with hostels and the old town is very far for everything, so basically the location of your hostel doesnt matter - you're gonna need to ride a scooter anyways and Ko Lanta is the perfect place to learn it. The rooms in the hostel were perfect - a lot of privacy. The staff was very nice! Super kind and they provided good service and breakfast! I would stay here again.

this is such a great place to stay! it feels more like a home and you will for sure meet many great people there. staff is nice and very friendly and want to make sure that you feel 100% comfy. best breakfast i have ever had in the hostel ! ....for example they ask you how you like your eggs... free coffee, sweets, fruits and POPCORN all the day!! i will definitely come back!! only 3 minutes to the long beach by walk.
