Quiet location for relaxing over water”
The room we took literally was on the water, which was a real addition to the peace and tranquility of the place. No breakfast included, but only a short walk to cafe's and restaurants. No beach on this side of the island, so you have to travel for this and no bars/restaurants open late in the fishermen's village.

The room is clean with facilities like air conditioning, electric kettle and fan. The shower head is faulty and water is running out slowly.

What a find - having read the previous reviews we were hoping for something special but we were absolutely blown away by this location! The view when the tide is high is out of this world! We were especially lucky as we arrived on the first day of the Lanta Lanta festival and had an absolutely fabulous time here. We were so glad we stayed in the Old Town - even without the festival there was plenty to do and loads of great restaurants (some of the best food we had in Thailand). The room was spacious and extremely clean, the owners were very helpful and friendly - thank you so much for a wonderful stay and we hope to return!

Amazing ”
We had been staying on the other side, beach side for a few days prior to going over to the east side (old town) side. We were very happy staying by the beach that we were gonna cancel this reservation. So glad we didn't. We were warmly welcomed by the lovely family who owns the property. Gave us pineapple upon arrival. We stayed in the seaview view room. It was big, clean and very comfortable. Amazing view. Not much to do in old town! We only stayed one night. Would prefer more time to rent a scooter to explore around. So cool during high tide to just sit and relax while the water is underneath. Will stay here again.

A mistake that I regret booking Superior seaview room from Agoda for 1300 baht, including breakfast. But on arrival, just know that it is not a Superior Sea View , but got a Standard Double Room instead of me having to ask. Cancellation, the hotel was not willing to do that. But overall, the hotel is in a relatively peaceful retreat. I need accommodation for more than 2000 baht, only to get a sea view room, really.

This place only has 5 units. Our group took up 4 rooms and pretty much the whole place was to us. The caretakers of the place doesn't speak much english but they were very friendly and attentive to our needs. The place is located at one end of Lanta Old Town and it's a comfortable walk to Old Town. There are plenty of restaurants nearby that opens for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The breakfast provided is only 2 person max per room (even if you paid for extra bed). Restaurant is a walk away, lovely environment at the restaurant. Breakfast choices are either toast with eggs, porridge or muesli. Breakfast is so-so, additional guests pay 200 baht for the breakfast (not worth it). WIFI is strong and stable. The rooms are very clean and spacious, as per the photos in the description. Beds are really really hard, it was comfortable though. Room was quiet. Didn't have a boiler but you can get it from the caretakers/owners. The view and environment was really amazing, we enjoyed every bit of it.

Just a dream”
So happy to have spent time here. Trip started as 2 nights, turned into 5. The accommodations are charming and the staff is absolutely lovely. We cannot wait to come back and spend more nights hearing the rising and falling tide. Thank you, I Talay.

Perfect if you are in retreat ... ”
I freaked out when I got there, wrong side of the island, the tide was out , the beach is no good, no swimming pool at hotel, and you have seen all there is to Old Lanta town in 5 mins. BUT, having enjoyed myself by going straight over to west beach when I got back at 9pm it was high tide, and and the reason I chose to stay here became apparent ... To experience being on solid ground within water! The room is on concrete stilts and high tide goes completely underneath the bungalow, swirling all around. It was windy and very elemental. The 6 large windows of the room help the feeling of living in nature in comfort, if you drive a scooter then here is fine. Otherwise pay 20 bucks more for the same standard on the west side because you will spend it on taxis. The complimentary breakfast is at beach restaurant 5 mins down the road, there are just 5 rooms at this complex and no reception desk ... But hey, the privacy factor was high and if I had had a partner with me I would have loved this romantic hideaway. As it was I got some good creative writing done and some meditation time on the large verandah. Get the superior bungalow low at the front (there are 2) and have an unusual experience.

Malgré une erreur de réservation de la part d'Agoda, nous avons pu loger dans une chambre plus petite qui était heureusement disponible à notre arrivée. La chambre était récente, confortable et bien équipée et surtout très proche à pieds (3 mn) des boutiques et bons restaurant du centre-ville. Bon accueil de la famille du propriétaire, même s'il n'était pas facile de communiquer en anglais.

Majoituimme Deluxe double Sea View huoneistossa.Huone valoisa,avara sekä näköala kolmeen eri suuntaan.Huoneiston edessä iso avara terassi jolla oli mahtava istuskella ja kuunnella aaltojen loisketta.Henkilökunta erittäin ystävällinen ja avulias.Huoneiston siisteys huippuluokkaa.Aamupala läheisessä ravintolassa muutaman sadan metrin päässä aivan Lanta Old Townin keskustassa.Suosittelemme majoituksena esim.Laanta lanta festifalien aikaan.

Gastgeber sehr freundlich aber wir haben storniert nach der Ankunft weil man dort niergens schwimmen kann und der Strand zu weit weg ist von der Unterkunft deswegen sind wir mit dem Taxi gleich weiter auf die Westseite der Insel übergesiedelt Gastgeber war sehr verständnisvoll wegen unserer Stornierung nochmals danke

风景超赞，房主一家都好热情友善”
很开心能在I TALAY入住，风景好美！坐在那看着景就醉了。有海景房和非海景房，那天傍晚到的时候下车闻到海风腥味还很忐忑以为订错了，一进去立马就惊喜了，风景很赞，里边也没什么腥味，马上决定续住多一晚，和朋友都很很喜欢这里。这里唯一的缺憾是离沙滩很远，要租车出去，但相应的old town这边安静很多。 还没办入住爷爷就给我们拿来很甜的菠萝。爷爷的孙子会英语，入住办理都是他来沟通，很阳光笑容可爱的男孩。平时有什么都可以找爷爷，到的时候他浇花地板上有点点水也提醒我们小心，离开的时候听说我们去清迈还让我们穿多点，非常友善。 房间很干净设施都很新。每天都会清洁，放两瓶水。还提供早餐券，在一家叫FRESH的餐厅,在那吃饭也可以打折，但是味道一般。 It's very lucky that finally we booked here,I can't love it any more. Beautiful view, nice Grandpa and the boy, thank you~

我们到的是雨季，酒店那晚就我们两人入住，住的是边上的海景房，房间很大，设施该有的都有，风景很美，早上下到海边看到日出不错，店主老夫妇服务很热情，能用英语交流。酒店在兰塔老街最边上，停车场左边过去一些的地方，路边没有很明显的店招牌，谷歌导航也没有显示，开租的车过去的找了几个来回还好女友眼睛尖找到了，附近老街的fresh饭店可以，到出发跳岛游的码头就走几分钟。
